The location is the best thing about this extremely pokey hostel. The entire bathroom amenities for upwards of 40 people, consists of 3 toilets, 2 hand basins (in an extremely cramped space) and 4 showers. 1 shower had no hot water another a broken door. Need to climb a steep set of stairs from street level to access the hostel. Not a hostel for people with a disability. The one set of stairs are the only access. You’d be lucky to get out if there was an emergency. Fire springs to mind and the thought made me uneasy. Cramming as many people as possible into a confined space feels like a money grab. The website is very sleek and pretty. It has well photographed images. Unfortunately the reality is quite different. Rooms are cramped with triple bunks and the room was stifling and stuffy. A light and electrical outlet in the bunk was a bonus. Communal kitchen small but functional. I missed breakfast which is included so can’t comment on that. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Slept poorly due to street noise and poor ventilation. Overall a very disappointing experience one I won’t be repeating. Hard to recommend.

We stayed for one night, had all our needs covered while being in quite a convenient place in the city. Breakfast being included was huge. One game changer would be shelving in the showers, or even more hooks. Please! Bella was great help!

Thoughtful hostel that provides earplugs for the noise of the central location. Friendly staff, well stocked common area, and sufficient bathrooms. Fostered a sense of community making you feel welcome and comfortable.

We stayed in the 4 person with private bathroom room. Everything went well! Breakfast of toast, eggs and cereal was adequate! Definitely would stay again! Wonderful how close to Waverly Station! Easy to walk up the hilly street to the Royal Mile. Beautiful setting!

I loved the 3-night stay in a 6 bed dorm and would return. Just a note: shower and toilet facilities are shared, male and female. Staff are ready to help you, 24 hrs. Breakfast included, includes eggs! My only gripe is not being able to sit up fully when in the bed (beds have ladder access, 3 bunks high), but you are welcome to relax in the common room any time.

I wasn't expecting much, given it was so cheap, but I had a fantastic stay! It's small but lovely! Breakfast was nice, and free. A selection of bread, jams, cereal and eggs were available. There were also plenty of local eateries advertised there with discounts for guests. It's in a fantastic spot, less than 5 minutes from Edinburgh Waverly, so bang in the middle of everything, but on a side street so it's quiet. The staff were all lovely, friendly, and welcoming, particularly Declan and Graham. The atmosphere was very homely, with a good mix of people. I had a fun time! I'll definitely be back.

Triple beds. The room is okay but there’s a bar nearby so you can hear the noise from breaking glass all the time. The bathroom is small but it’s the CLEANEST bathroom I have ever been in. The kitchen and the common area is stylish, with all essential cooking equipment. However, the fridge is too small and I wish there’s a microwave (helpful for solo travellers). I appreciate that they have an oven and toaster! Staffs are polite and nice.
