A lovely spot for a romantic date, offering a great atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. Prices are on the higher side, but definitely worth it. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, though it can get a bit crowded on Fridays and weekends. Truly worth a visit!

Bayleaf Italian Restaurant is a fantastic spot in Colombo, whether you’re planning a romantic date or a dinner with a large group. Their Harpos pizza is a must-try—absolutely delicious! A go to place in Colombo 7 for a dinner and music. Usually a band plays on the weekends plus the DJ. Great Pizzas and pastas and other offerings of poultry and fish good atmosphere and good for a mature crowd. Bar serves great cosmopolitans Everytime. Owner is Harpo who is a legendary restauranter and an entertainer (DJ). Super cool place. I dont miss the Bayleaf eveytime I go to Colombo .

I have been there twice. I found their pizzas very tasty. They have less starch and more toppings compared to pizzas from commical brands. What I liked most was the place. The building looks very charming from outside though the interior is bit darker.

Had a wonderful dining experience at The Bayleaf. The ambience is calm, elegant, and perfect for both business dinners and relaxed evenings with family or friends. The food was excellent, authentic Italian flavors, well-presented dishes, and great portion sizes. The service was attentive and professional without being intrusive. Overall, a consistently high-quality restaurant in Colombo that never disappoints. Highly recommended.

The food was to die for, try the Granchio Al Forno (crabmeat). They have happy hour from 5pm. Staff is very friendly and will look after you well. They have a separate bar area too (where you can sit n eat).

This place is incredible, and so is the food. And the cocktails and staff. I highly recommend the margarita tamarind lemongrass. Invented bij the bartender himself. Best Margarita I've ever had. And I had a few. The restaurant is in an old colonial building. It's beautiful and well maintained. That adds to the fairytale atmosphere. The garden is great, it's a hideaway in the city. The food is amazing. Staff is beyond excellent, they make you feel special. They know about the food and wine, so they can advice you wisely. That's rare in Sri Lanka, so use it to your advantage. It's a 10 minute tyktuk ride from the centre, so go there! It will be one of the highlights of your trip

The place is in a close distance from our hotel so we decided to stop by as the hotel staff recommended this. Food is nice and with a lot of variety.
