The Bayou Easton

Great service. The staff was super friendly. The food is pricey. But delicious! Surprisingly, kids eat free on Wednesday so that was great! Just wish the kids menu was better. It's all chicken nuggets and usual stuff. My kiddo loves fish, veggies and trying things on the menu so while it was nice it was free I wish it had more actual food off the adult menu on there, because that menu was delicious. He ate more of my food than the kids dish I ordered. Corn bread was a big hit! For kid and adult. Glad we ordered it to start.

Nice atmosphere. Good spicy food. Great service. Nashville chicken was bit too spicy (so much that we couldn't even eat it and we can handle spicy) Many gluten free options on the menu. Only thing I would fix is if you are offering gluten free sandwiches you should have GF buns. They served a sandwich without any.

Great dining experience with good friends. We had fried green tomatoes, collard greens, crab cakes, jambalaya, chicken n waffles, Nashville Mac n cheese, surf n turf Mac n cheese, bayou wings. Jalapeño grits, cornbread, and beignets, just to name a few. The food was very good. Would definitely return to try some of their other meals.

Service was excellent. Atmosphere was amazing. Views style decor all above and beyond. The food was a lil less to be desired. While the appetizers were outstanding. We had the fried green tomatoes, perogi, and crab cake. Our main dishes left us wanting more. The surf and turf steak lacked flavor and was served in a bowl. Was under impression it would be more of a plated dish vers a pilaf bowl. Collard greens were onnthe your side. The Brussel sprouts, corn bread, and chicken Alfredo were all good tho. I did not try the po boy due to a food allergy but my friends said she loved it. Out dessert was nice. The ice cream of the night was a salted caramel praylean. It was to die for. The peanut butter moose was extremely sweet. Good but too sweet for me. Would deff go back again tho maybe just order a table full of appetizers to share. Tye price points I'd say we're fair. Between all the food we got plus wine we spent around 300 total with tip. Keep in mind we had 4 people ordering food.

My husband and I so enjoyed our anniversary lunch at this adorable and VERY delicious spot in Easton, PA. I'd go back JUST for the Apple Barrel cocktail alone, but it would be a shame to miss out on this jambalaya! We had gorgeous weather that day and decided to eat outside in the darling atmosphere of the square. I felt like I had truly been transported. I'm a Southern gal and I'd say I'm pretty picky about things like fried green tomatoes, cornbread, and jambalaya. The ONLY adjustment I'd make to the menu (personal preference) would be to take some of the sugar out of the cornbread. I like to taste the corn a bit more. Again, that's about personal preference. If you like it on the sweeter side, you're going to absolutely love this because it's made perfectly well! And I wasn't mad about eating this cornbread at all! Haha! Our server was lovely. Music was fun. I was feeling fat 'n' sassy when I left, so it was a good time, y'all!

Love this place I have been here a few times the food is delicious! The flavors do not disappoint. I have had many dishes from here and all of them were tasty and were devoured. Everything tasted amazing. My absolute favorite go to dish is the corn bread. It is so good it melts in your mouth. It’s sweet but not too sweet. It comes with butter and it’s just kind of like crunchy on the outside soft on the inside they served it warm which makes it all worth while. It is so delicious and you have to try this for yourself. As far as the atmosphere goes, it is really well decorated has a good ambience for like romantic dinner, but it’s super chill in the summer you could sit outside, or inside since they have big windows it gets good daylight. Drinks are awesome and taste good with a kick to it. I really love this place to go eat.

Amazing experience for my first time at Bayou! I went with friends that brought their 18 month old daughter. Typically dinning out with children at upscale restaurants doesn’t go well, but the Bayou is very smart and customer conscious when it comes to children and babies. They have a separate room in the back of the restaurant that is dedicated to tables with children. There is sound proofing on the walls, a TV hung up in the corner and crayons and children’s activity sheets provided. They were able to create a space that is very kid friendly without compromising on the decor or atmosphere while also ensuring parents do not need to worry about their kids interrupting the other diners in the restaurant.

Service was good. Food was great. Ambiance was great. I liked the half open kitchen and seeing the servers put on final touches. Apple ginger ale cocktail was delicious as was all our food. Pulled pork po boy, shrimp and grits, corn meal scallops (special). The desserts were incredible. My kids were going cray cray, I was too.

Stumbled onto this cute restaurant while in town for an activity with the family. Great dining experience with good friends. We had Pierogis, collard greens, chicken n waffles, Nashville Mac n cheese, Shrimp & Jalapeño grits and cornbread. The food was very good. Would definitely return to try some of their other meals. Finally stopped by and was seated immediately. Ordered Hush Puppies, and the Pierogis Skillet. Both were delicious starters. I ordered the Jambalaya and appreciated the large portion (got to take some home) and the flavor was on point. Savory and not over the top spicy, this dish will become my Bayou fav. Cant wait to visit again

Before I say anything this guy from Louisiana approves of the Bayou! The Bayou Southern Kitchen & Bar is a locally owned restaurant that offers a creative take on classic New Orleans cooking. Restaurateurs Cristian Duarte, Mo Taylor, Jeremy Straub & Matt Weaver have brought a blend of traditional southern flavors and modern American cooking together to create a unique take on New Orleans soul food. Since I'm from New Orleans I've have been hearing about the Bayou since we moved to Easton! Figured it was about time we check it out! Great seating area, great bar area as well. The restaraunt has low and high tops. We were promptly seated and we had our server, Jacquelyn, come over! We went ahead and ordered a Hurricane, which is a popular New Orleans cocktail, and I ordered the Abita Purple Haze, which is from the Abita brewing company native to New Orleans! My wife ordered the catfish poboy and I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with a side of dirty rice! Didn't take too long for the food to come out and wowww did it look good! My wife said that the catfish poboy tasted like we were back in the city like the days when we first met! Catfish was very light but had a great taste! It comes with lettuce, tomato and remoulade! The only critique she gave me was the bread wasn't the bread from your typical poboy but I mean we are in PA, it wont be 100 % the same; but it's the closest we have gotten outside of LA! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich, let me tell you wow wow wow! It comes with the fried chicken thigh, pimento cheese (YUM!) and bread and butter pickles! Also a side of fries. I couldn't have enough of it! The flavors were phenomenal! The chicken batter was amazing! Pimento cheese had enough sizzle for the heat seekers. Fries were also above average! My side of dirty rice was probably some of the BEST dirty rice I've ever had. Even better than some of the dirty rice I've had in New Orleans, had a good amount of heat to it too! Above all we'd definitely come back to the Bayou, and we'll also be recommending it to anyone who wants a fix of some southern cooking! After coming here and having it for the first time I now understand why it's always so busy! Can't wait to come back again!

My husband had the "Southern Burger." He said the toppings were good. The portion was very large. I rarely eat Mac and cheese but they had a dish which had three versions of m&c and it intrigued me. It was OK - a good idea not taken far enough. I left about 1/2 of it uneaten. Our server was fine. There weren't many guests at the restaurant. The bar definitely wasn't busy. Bayou is pedestrian in character. Very clean.

Outstanding, as always, from the draft beer choices to the food menu choices the plating presentations the quality of the food. I can't tell you what to eat. All I can tell you is to make sure you come back often and eat across the menu trying different plates I recently found out that the original Bayou is located in Bethlehem; both are great choices.

Huge portions. Good food. Friendly staff. Elegant look to the place & clean. Four flowers - strong, tasty, enjoyable Hurricane - tropically, tasty, fairly large drink size (good bang for your buck) Brisket Max n cheese - got a kick (spice) to it, super cheesy, comes with peas which some may not like but I did Corn bread - 3 pieces looking like French toast, it that comes with butter that is half spread and half off so you can customize how much you want; solid Hush puppies - just okay but the chimichurri sauce was fantastic and really carried the dish Gumbo - rice is nice and well cooked, gumbo is not super chunky and got a decent spice to it, solid Short ribs - super soft - awesome texture but flavor was lacking, felt like I had a whole animal on my plate, size for price still easily worth it but would probably go with something else for flavor Nashville hot chicken - looks as if the whole chicken came out, huge portion, very well cooked, supposed to be "hot" but not really spiced evenly. Still very well cooked and tasty - biggest thing is not dry/over cooked Peanut butter mouse - enjoyed this, noticeable but not overpowering peanut butter taste Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Tl;dr solid food with solid drinks. Every entree portion is ginormous which is great for leftovers

We visited for the first time with friends with a 5pm reservation. We were greeted and seated right away in a cozy spot. Our waitress was very pleasant as well. We ordered the Nashville Mac, fried chicken sandwich and Cajun chicken Caesar salad. The salad was excellent and chicken was delicious. Our Nashville Mac was also very good, if you love a good Mac and cheese you won't be disappointed with any of the variations I would imagine. I will probably try the brisket Mac next time we return. I think the fried chicken sandwich had the potential to be great but it was mostly a lot of breading with a little bit of chicken, so that was a bit disappointing. Only thing I was hoping for more options on the menu for were veggies. Might try the fried Brussels next time though! For dessert we ordered the brownie which was also not worth it in my opinion, not super flavorful and just bland. Our friend ordered the beignets and had us try them and they were excellent! I will get those next time instead. I had a glass of wine so I can't speak on the cocktails, but they had a good variety, and a lot of them sounded great to me. I would not suggest bringing young kids to a place like this as it's a bit nicer of a restaurant, and a family with 3 young crying kids were seated next to us right after we arrived and so we heard that and loud cartoons the whole time we spent there. That said, my kids are teens and preteens now, and I think they would really enjoy and appreciate this place.

I won some gift cards for The Bayou in Easton in a fundraiser so decided to give it a try even though the wife isn't very fond of the place. It was drizzling so I dropped my wife off in front and drove around to find parking. It took about 10 minutes before I was able to join her inside the establishment. She had already ordered a martini. The waiter came over a few minutes later and told her they were out of Kettle One vodka. What bar runs out of one of the most popular vodka's. Strike one! She told him another kind and I ordered a draft beer. They came a few minutes later and we're fine. We had a few questions about the menu and then placed our orders. I got the Buttermilk fried Chicken which came with mashed Sweet Potatoes and Cornbread. My wife ordered the Shrimp & Beef Mac n' cheese. Our orders were brought out by the runners and I realized the cornbread was missing from my meal. When the waiter stopped by about 10 minutes later, I asked him about the cornbread. He told my meal didn't include cornbread. So I had to show him on the menu that it did. Strike Two! He brought the cornbread a few minutes later. Then I asked him for salt and pepper. He said ok but never did bring them. Strike Three for the service! As far as the food, the Fried Chicken was really delicious. Some of the best I've ever had. The mashed sweet potatoes were very good also but I could have done without the marshmallow. My wife liked the Mac n' Cheese which was loaded with Shrimp and Beef Tips. Very tasty. I'll be back for more Chicken, hopefully the service will be improved.

The food was amazing as always and the servers provided friendly service. The place looks really cool and have a nice comfortable feel.

We stop in here every year when we are in town. I think it's a solid 4 but always a little up and down. You are going to get something that is just ok and then something that is out of this world. Today was no exception. The cast iron pierogies were ok. The brisket po' was amazing. Jalapeño grits were delicious but missing salt. I agree with other reviewers that overall things seem underseasoned. Service was great per usual. We will be back for sure.

Great food and atmosphere. One of the best servers I've had for a long time. Took great care of our large group all on her own. Sadly, I forget her name. Highly recommended!

I wanted to like this place. Have heard great things, was excited to try. Decor is blah. Had the Hush puppies and the cauliflower appetizer. Hush puppies were overdone, burned in spot. The Cauliflower was overly greasy, and those were the highlights of the meal. Beer was warm. Ordered the Buttermilk fried chicken, wife had the Chicken Alfredo dish. Chicken was very dark and burned, very bland. Chicken was unseasoned as was the buttermilk batter. Alfredo tasted like the cheese was rancid, and the broccoli mixed in the dish was cold. The chicken in that dish was undercooked. I will never send food back to the kitchen. After a $90 bill, my wife and left hungry. Hope it was a bad night, but it was empty, maybe 12 other guests. Very disappointed.

Blue crab beignet appetizer was excellent but everything else was poor. Jambalaya was tasty but extremely salty. Fried chicken was overcooked to the point of being very dark brown and really greasy - they replaced it but the salad at $15 was just a simple bowl of lettuce with some dried noodles on top. The dirty rice and rice pilaf sides were also overly salted and weren't eaten either. They tried to make it up to us by giving us free beignets which were average - too heavy and doughy. Best part was the excellent service from Britney.

Great menu and service. Try the Nashville Hot fried chicken. Excellent flavor. The atmosphere is nice, albeit a bit on the noisy side. Make sure you leave time to find adequate parking. Being in downtown Easton, the parking is limited.

Came to the historic Easton Square where I came to Bayou for brunch. It was a great choice as the staff and atmosphere was awesome. I sat at the bar and was welcomed by the well educated bartender who explained many of the drinks on the menu. I tried the fried green tomatoes, crabcakes, fried cauliflower and for my main dish the chicken and waffles. All the dishes were amazing! Full of flavor and had you wanting more. Best dish was the fried green tomatoes! *Theres street parking but parking enforcement is always on the prowl so be mindful of that. I recommend using the parking structure located one street away from the restaurant.

Easily one of the worst places I've experienced and I barely made it through the door. Popped in here on a Monday evening without reservations thinking it wouldn't be hard to get a table since it looked quiet from the outdoor dining. When we walked in, we were told by the snarky hostess that we wouldn't get a table because we didn't have reservations, and we definitely wouldn't be seated because it was a party of 5. Now I'm not sure what she thought our plans were going to be, but I've never been spoken to like that in regards to not having seating available. At a glance, the restaurant was pretty empty, and they could have easily pulled a chair to the end of a 4-person table, but I understand reservation policies. What I didn't understand was why she felt the need to be so extremely unprofessional and rude about it. She could have easily said "sorry, we don't have a table for you since you don't have a reservations, and reservations are highly recommended." Or ask her manager for advice if she doesn't know how to speak with courtesy. It's a shame to have to put this review, but as a customer-facing business, all staff should have the same courtesy towards everyone, and the same level of respect. We didn't come into the restaurant demanding a seat or a table. We asked if they had a table to accommodate our group - and to be met with hostility and foreign looks, it's a very unwelcoming place to walk into.

I would really give it 3.5 rounded up to 4. Menu is similar to the Bethlehem site. The surf n turf pilaf was pretty good. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, could have used a bit more season. The rice itself was a little "wet." Pilaf I've had before was usually been a bit more drier. The catfish was cooked perfectly, and the breading was super crispy. Small list seasonal cocktails and beers. Overall food isn't bad. I want to say I liked the Bethlehem site better

So this place is amazing. Great vibe eight when you walk in the door. Great customer service to start. Friendly and attentive. The food is all very good amd very filling. Parking is a hassle depending on the time of day bit there is a garage you can park in and walk over. This is a place where you really can't decide what you want because it all sounds good and looks good bit most importantly taste good. So you will definitely have to go back for more to try it all.

This was our first time there and it was really good. The service, food and atmosphere was awesome. We went for lunch, I had the Southern Chicken sandwich (delicious) and he had the Southern Burger (also delicious). Check it out if your in town.

I am so-so on this place. I made a rvsp which was super easy online. We arrived at 6:25 for a 6:30 reservation and were seated right away. We needed time to review the menu, so even though our server arrived quickly, I asked for an additional 5 mins to review and make a decision. It took her an extra 20 mins to do so! I was a bit frustrated, since I noticed we didn't get to place the order until 6:50 :( We ordered the cornbread, gumbo, Nola Q shrimp, fried chicken sandwich with mac 'n cheese. We asked for the cornbread as our appetizer. This was delicious! The butter really complemented the bread which was pleasantly toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. Next were our entrees. I'm allergic to shrimp, so did not get to try the Nola Q shrimp. My husband really loved it, and raved about it all evening. The rest of the dishes were disappointing at best. I'd give the gumbo and fried chicken dishes 2 stars. As others have mentioned, the gumbo lacks any flavor except SPICE--pepper in particular. This is the only flavor you get from this dish, which is unfortunate considering it has andouille sausage in it!! Not enough salt in this dish, as the broth of the sauce has a nice color and viscosity, but not much flavor. You also can't tell there is chicken in this. The fried chicken was the most disappointing. Although nicely crisp, there was no flavor in this piece of chicken. The flavor comes through because there is a cheese pimiento sauce on it--not because the chicken is seasoned properly. I got the option that is topped with mac and cheese--do yourself a favor and skip this option. The meal will cost you $20, and you will have wished you had gone to Popeyes instead. The fries that were served were also only half-cooked! The server took a while to come back, so I didn't bother complaining about it. I only ate the cooked fries and left the rest. I have been to New Orleans 20+ times, and there are decent restaurants that can serve cajun/creole food. Unfortunately, I don't believe this is one of those restaurants unless you prefer bland, slightly pricey food.

This place has great food. You can tell the ingredients are high quality. I ordered the fried green tomato salad, gumbo, corn bread, and brussels. The star was the cornbread because WOW. But everything else was delicious as well and I will be deff going back to dine in next as the atmosphere in the place looks awesome.

There is no better way to spend a cold January evening than eating delicious southern grub and pretending you are in New Orleans. The Bayou in Easton allows you to do just that! My boyfriend and I enjoyed our entrees of the Nashville Mac N' Cheese and Smoked Ribs. The portions for both entrees were enormous and allowed for leftovers the next day. The Nashville Mac N' Cheese was oozing with cheese and the broccoli added a nice crunch. It also had the perfect amount of hot sauce and tender chicken pieces. The smoked ribs had great flavor and the meat fell right off the bone. For sides we ordered the sweet mash and corn bread. The sweet mash was definitely sweet with hints of cinnamon and the cornbread was the best my boyfriend has had since he moved from Tennessee. We ordered the beignets for dessert and honestly they are a must! Lots of powdered sugar and delicious frosting. We will definitely be back again!

I really wanted to give this spot a try so was excited. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and told the hostess I wanted to sit at the bar. I sat at the bar and waited quite a bit for the bartender Nick to come. When he finally came he was nice and attentive after that. I started with the New Fashioned drink and asked if it could be smokey in the glass and he did that for me. The drink was very good. I then ordered the lemon drop martini and I wasn't too fond of it so I switched to merlot. For my meal I wanted to try a few dishes but there was pork in some of the dishes I wanted and I told him I don'teat pork. I ended up getting the catfish dish and they had to replace the collard greens to broccoli because of the pork. Nick totally forgot the dirty rice had pork. I had to send it back and Justin the manager replaced it with white rice. When I dug in the broccoli and rice was very good. The catfish and remoulade was a bit salty. The bill wasn't too bad and all in all I had a decent experience.

We ate at the Bayou in Easton last year and it was overall a very nice experience. This time, not so good. Wait staff was very inattentive and even though it was not busy, we seemed forgotten several times between water and drink orders, when they did come to our table, except for food and drink order, the waitress directed all questions/discussion to my wife and completely ignored me, even giving the check to my wife. That was a total first for me. I ordered a side and a large salad and only received the salad, even though the waitress acknowledged each item when I ordered. Once I received my salad and tried it, I decided not to say anything - At least the side also item didn't show up on the check, so she completely forgot it after she took the order. As for my salad, the chicken was the absolutely the driest toughest stringiest chicken I have eaten in many years. The salad had extremely little dressing on it. So little that when most of the salad was gone, the plate was completely dry. The wait staff passed by many times and spent a lot of time standing around and joking in the little waitstaff hallway, but no one picked up our empty app plates, our empty drink glasses, nor the empty app bowls, leading us to pile things up on the far side of the table. My table-mates meals were OK, although the gumbo tasted gummy and old and the sausage in it was very dry and chewy. So sadly, I spent most of what should have been a very nice outing, deciding how little to tip due to poor service and really not good food. Yeah, I honestly do not want to go back there again and now i see they own WizKids, which I had on my list to visit, I might skip that place as well. One other thing - I don't know if it was the bar manager or the restaurant manager, but please, pull your pants up to cover your underwear. No one wants to see that around their food or their table. Please!!

Took my girls for their birthday dinner and was let down. What a disappointment since our first experience there was great. Fried chicken was burned , tasted like burnt cooking oil.Fries were cold and lifeless. Perogies were burned and stuck to the pan. 4 plates of food went home with them to feed to the dog so it didn't get wasted. There was probably 6 tables that were seated ,not busy at all and it took almost an hour to get our food. The appetizers arrived with our dinner. We were seated next to the kitchen and could see the staff talking and playing with their phones while preparing food. Really dissatisfied with the service and food as a whole. Will never go back again. And all of this in the end cost about $200.

The food and ambiance were good, but most of my party didn't eat from a 2:15 reservation until 3:15. We ordered jambalaya, crab cakes chicken tenders (for my son) and some side dishes. It seems as though they were severely short staffed as it also took several minutes just to get a check.

Everyone that has been to easton or the other locations know that the bayou is an excellent restaurant. The menu is full of delicious options that range from salads to burgers to pasta. This is all southern styled food, but there are still many vegetarian options available. We came here for dinner and we had no wait. The service was amazing and very fast. I have to say if you stop by, it is a must that you try their corn bread... which is delicious... so warm and moist (I know you hate that word) the salads are fresh and the food was simply delicious! One thing I will say is I've noticed a lot of restaurants offer a very basic kids menus and I wish they had more veggies to offer, but that's just me. I'm sure most kids don't want to eat vegetables. If you're visiting Pennsylvania and are in the area, definitely stop by for some corn bread, they do have other locations and they all have amazing food and service!

This was my first time in Easton and when I visit places I always like to find local restaurants that WOW me and needless to say this place did that! The food was excellent and no complaints with anything! The reason I gave 4 stars was it looked like the place needed a couple more staff members to handle the demand that was placed on it. Otherwise it would've been 5/5

Fantastic service and generally good food, I knocked off 2 stars because they literally put an entire bottle of bbq sauce on the ribs to serve them. The sauce was overwhelming and took away from the ribs. Collards were tough and overwhelmingly sweet and ultimately soaked in the sauce as was the cornbread that came with it. I had the chicken an waffle which also was good but was served with just as much syrup as the bbq on the ribs, leaving the breading on the chicken soggy as well as the waffle after about 10min of being served. Flavor was amazing on the first few bites... but the experience was quickly hampered. Our appetizers were truly the best part of the meal, we had gumbo, dirty rice, and hush puppies. I would go back again.. but would tell them to put the sauces and syrup on the sides, so I can actually taste the meal and not the condiments.

I went with friends to celebrate a birthday. I do have a food allergy to a certain spice, and the server was VERY accommodating. Even went back to ask the Chef if the shrimp was okay with my spice allergy. Everyone at the table really enjoyed their food, I had a Caesar salad with shrimp and was very good. This was for lunch, so I wanted something light. Inside was nice, we sat by the window, so we had lots of natural light. Service was great.

Pretty good, got a bunch of different things. Not really happy with the way they do their bottomless mimosas. It's $20 for the carafe, but each time you refill it's 50 cent. That's not what bottomless means FYI. You guys should just say you have $20 mimosa carafes because bottomless would mean it's just the $20 flat for endless (bottomless) mimosas.

Lovely location with delicious food and a very good lunch service. Street parking. The Cubano sandwich was huge and tasty, Bayou Mac n cheese was filled with fried chicken, broccoli, shallots, and more - very filling and was delicious. The perogies were also good, oddly though, they were regular little perogies that were filled with potato and all the extra stuff was on top and smothered in sauce. It was good but not exactly what I'd expected. Service was lovely, decor was cute, overall very enjoyable.

Food and service were terrific. We went there for my son's birthday dinner and they really were so sweet about it. Restaurant is cute and really clean too. Would definitely recommend this place.

Food, service, ambience are Great!!! Was looking to go to Stokes but a three hour wait. Across the street was Bayou.it did not disappoint. Have to try it!!! You won't regret it.

I went to the Bethlehem location 2 years ago and gave it 5 stars. I absolutely loved it and was hoping for a similar experience here. My party of 4 ordered the exact same meal here at Easton and it didn't even come close to my experience in Bethlehem. First off every single dish came out luke warm to cold. Started with the gumbo, which tasted good but was room temperature. The corn bread was as dry as a bone, and the fried chicken had absolutely zero taste and was also very dry, and not heated up. Fried green tomatoes were decently flavored. Hush puppies were again cold, super dry and tasteless. Last we got the Brussel sprouts, they were really good. I always hate leaving negative reviews but unfortunately we spent $130 on lunch and mostly every item was tasteless, dry and not heated up.

Charming place in the center of town. Friendly people, quick service, and a great taste of New Orleans cooking! I had to stop for fried green tomatoes not an easy find. They have many other favs including brussel sprouts, beignets, and fritters!

Went for an early dinner, sat outside and had Ashley as our waitress! She was such a doll, great service and she was very sweet! Food and drinks were great!

This place really is good. Having been to New Orleans it doesn't exactly match up to that cuisine exact, but for the northeast it is pretty darn close. Almost always good food. Always happy to be here. Staff is great. Some food I have gotten has been a little dry like the cornbread. I also wish there was some type of marking if food is spicy or not.

The Bayou in Easton was an incredible experience. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken almost immediately. We ordered the corn bread to start. It was delicious, soft and crumbly. I did want more butter with it, but it's better that it came without. I ordered the Nashville Hot and it was simply delightful. The right amount of the heat, the pickled cucumbers and slaw provided the right cooldown at certain times. Its decent size portion, a half chicken. My better half ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it too, looked delicious. The chicken had the right amount of crunch, the waffle was hot and fresh with a generous drizzle of syrup. We order the beignets to close, unfortunately only 1 out of 4 puffed up as expected and the rest were flat. The time ticket times did take a bit between courses, but overall I would return.

This place has good food and a nice atmosphere. Sitting outside and watching all the commotion of the circle is nice. I ordered the "Nashville Hot" chicken because I was praying it would be authentic. Unfortunately it was not. It's buffalo based. I asked for the manager, explained the situation, and she was more than happy to replace the dish for a new one. I ordered the short rib with sweet potatoes and brussel sprouts. It was so good that I ate the entire plate. I would come back for the service and the food. Only 4 stars because the Nashville Hot sauce isn't authentic.

Nice facility, food leaves a lot to be desired. I do not recommend this location, the Bethlehem location is much better food.

Great food again at Bayou !!! This is one of our go to restaurants in Easton. We highly recommend this establishment if you are in the area.

We were meeting friends at the halfway point between our homes. I searched on Yelp and found a few places. The Bayou looked good and had good reviews. The place was empty at noon so we had a chance to relax and catch up prior to ordering. We made our choices and off we went to NOLA. I had the brisket Po boy. The sandwich was awesome and the fries rocked. The rest of the group enjoyed their choices and we finished with the beignets we weren't fans of the icing that was served on the side (very sweet). The server was very friendly and kept an eye on us. There was no pressure to leave so that was great. One thing that could have been better was the clearing of the used dishes between courses. The coffee was a bit weak and not terrible but I like half and half (not milk). All in all a good time was had by all. We will definitely go back. I really want to try the jambalaya.

Very good service! Fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Jambalaya was lacking in the crawfish portions, maybe it was just that one dish that was. But the flavors in the Jambalaya were amazing. Chicken sandwich was fried to perfection. Highly recommend

Excellent experience. The food was delicious- I highly recommend the crab beignets and the Surf and Turf mac 'n cheese. Our waiter Zach was attentive, speedy, and helpful. The ambiance was lovely, with fleur-de-lis beautifully featured throughout the restaurant. My family enjoyed our lunch. We look forward to returning to The Bayou soon.
