27 Places to Stay Near Acadia National Park | Condé Nast Traveler

"Right in the heart of Bar Harbor, I experienced The Bayview Hotel as a playful boutique property with whimsical pops of color and original art across 26 rooms, many with spectacular ocean views, plus a seaside Rusticator Lounge for craft cocktails and small plates and a Fido-friendly patio for sunset watching." - Emily Pennington

This was a clean, friendly, romantic stay for my husband and I. The room was spacious, with an amazing view! All of the staff was amazing. We sat in the lobby most nights by the fire sipping drinks, playing scrabble, and enjoying the charcuterie. It was quiet- since it is off the beaten path. The downtown area was a short drive, but the hotel offers a shuttle. We had an easy time finding parking downtown, so we drove. We will be back.

We loved our stay this week at the Bayview. The staff was very friendly and helpful - carrying in our luggage and telling us about the area. The view is awesome - right on the waters edge with comfortable seating on our private deck. Breakfast is included and was delicious - eggs, bacon, sausages, hot cinnamon rolls, muffins and cakes, blueberry waffles, fresh fruit plus juices and tea/coffee. In the afternoon, they had a wonderful charcuterie tray with cheeses, crackers, fruits, and sweets. The room was spacious and bedding was super comfy! We highly recommend The Bayview!

We stayed at the Bayview for 6 nights for a girls trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the attention to detail and individualized service that the Bayview offers. All the staff members were warm and welcoming. The hotel is located very close to down town Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Down town parking is tricky so we utilized the complimentary shuttle service nightly for dinner and shopping. The guest service manager even provided a ride for us to a whale watching tour outside of the shuttle service hours. Our house keeper left us salted caramels and cleaned our room above and beyond our expectations. The hotel also offered complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea in room as well as a snack bar. In the evening they put out a charcuterie board and had a full service bar. The homemade cookies were delicious and a nice treat after a day of exploring. The continental breakfast offered a variety of options to appease everyone including vegan and gluten free options. The rooms are spacious with direct views of Frenchman Bay. The bedding was so soft and it was wonderful waking up to a waterfront view. The bathroom was spacious and the carpet was very soft. The hotel overall is well appointed with charming decor and a cozy vibe. We choose this hotel as it is one of the few 4 star options located in Bar Harbor for our vacation dates, we are so happy we choose Bayview. This was by far one of our more pleasant vacations. Thank you Bayview for the incredible hospitality.

Everything about our stay was lovely. The hotel is super nice, comfortable beds, beautiful location right on water. The continental breakfast was outstanding-with eggs, bacon, sausage, hot cinnamon buns and more! The staff was attentive, place was very clean. We really loved our stay and can't wait to return!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the staff at the Bayview Hotel. Our New England weekend getaway was truly memorable, but what stood out the most was the hospitality at our hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a seamless and comfortable stay, and always responded promptly to any needs or questions.||The breakfast was outstanding and the post -hike charcuterie spread was a perfect touch, and the shuttle service into town was prompt and reliable. The local hiking recommendations were spot on and I loved that the hotel provided hiking sticks, snacks and waters for us!||The manager was gracious enough to give me a ride to the airport on our last day which exemplified the genuine care and attention that made this place so special. We would stay here over and over again :)

This hotel is amazing! Great location, panoramic waterfront views, and excellent amenities that I didn’t fully appreciate until I stayed there. The hotel provides on demand, private transport to and from downtown Bar Harbor where parking is a nightmare. It includes a lovely breakfast and grab n go snack and water station, perfect when heading out for a day in Acadia National Park. Service is impeccable as well. The hotel is pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this boutique hotel was nothing short of amazing. From the ideal location and stunning views to the beautifully maintained rooms, everything exceeded our expectations. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the staff — especially Holly, the manager. She went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of at every step. Her kindness, attention to detail, and personal touch made a world of difference. If you’re looking for a place that blends charm, comfort, and top-notch hospitality, look no further. We can’t wait to come back!

My wife and I stayed for Labor Day weekend and could not be happier. Everyone in the Bayview was extremely nice. Breakfast served every morning. Snacks every afternoon. Rooms were very clean and great service every day. Nothing like waking up every morning seeing the water view . Highly recommended. Great location also between Acadia Park and downtown Bar harbor.

Yelp
What a beautiful way to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary! The Bayview Hotel provided us with a room overlooking Frenchman Bay. We enjoyed sunrise views 3/4 mornings. (The 4th one was from Cadillac Summit.) Our room was spacious with one of the most comfortable comforters I've felt. We had a keurig machine, microwave, and mini fridge in our room. Appreciated the heater in the bathroom. Loved being greeted by the geese family on property in the morning and afternoon just outside our balcony. Our balcony had a couple of chairs with a table. We noticed the room beside us had a couch and bar stools in their balcony. While our balcony had cobwebs in every ceiling corner (lots of spiders on the railing), we were still able to enjoy the majestic sunrise views. They serve a continental breakfast every morning at 0700. Mid-day they serve charcuterie, cookies, fruits with refreshing infused water, tea&coffee. By far this was the most serene accommodation we've had. Calm and peaceful. They provide Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay. Friendly staff~ Brad at the front desk was kind in printing our Cadillac Sunrise pass for us & greeted us every time we passed the front desk. The hotel is less than 8 minutes from the Waterfront and about 10 min to Acadia National park depending on which entrance you use. All in all would return and recommend.

Yelp
I would not recommend this hotel. I paid $699.00 per night to stay in a room below the main floor. It is dimly lit and the decor is bland. The bathroom is basic...a sink, toilet and shower/tub..,definitely not worth it for the price. ...nothing special here. There is no elevator and we lugged our luggage down the stairs. The only pleasing part was a deck looking out on the harbor...but the room is dark, dull and uninteresting. I would not recommend the lower floor of this hotel...

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at The Bayview Hotel. The location is beautiful and the hotel is very peaceful. The views right on the water are perfect, and you have easy access to Acadia National Park right up the road. There is a nice path to walk from the hotel into the town center (approximately 25-30 minute walk), as well as a complimentary shuttle service from 3:00-10:30pm daily with lovely drivers. My only complaint about this hotel is that they didn't have Diet Coke available for guests. On two separate occasions, I approached the bartender at the bar and requested a Diet Coke, and was told that I could go to the gift shop and purchase one. There were, however, none available in the gift shop (nor was there Coke, Coke Zero, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, etc). This seems to me like a pretty basic amenity to provide to guests when paying this much for a hotel, but alas. Overall a good experience for our first trip to Bar Harbor.

Yelp
We stayed at Bayview for Memorial Day Weekend and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked we loved it there. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was also very comfortable. We stayed in one of the peak king rooms with a beautiful view of the ocean. Highly recommend booking one of these rooms. We were not able to get tickets to see the sunrise, but we were able to see one from our balcony. We also enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee out there one quiet morning. The breakfast was very good with many options to have before heading out for the day. All of the egg dishes were outstanding. They also have a shuttle service that you can take if you want to go out for dinner in town. This was our first time to Bar Harbor and Bayview but it won't be our last.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed at the bayview for 4 nights in mid may. This truly was an amazing experience. The hotel had perfect views and was extremely clean and quiet. The view truly makes this hotel so special. When we first arrived the hotel was very empty and when we left it seemed to be all booked out. We never had any issues with noise even being the room right next to the front desk. The hotel is close enough to the town that we never felt like we were far away from the action but we had a nice relaxing place to stay each night. The hotel is also walking distance to the Acadian nature cruises. This was an amazing experience that I also recommend! We did the nature boat tour The staff was so amazing. Truly they take this hotel to the next level. Hannah the front desk employee was so kind and always makes sure to say hello and goodbye and helped with recommending restaurants. We had many conversations and she is truly a gem. Greg was also so amazing. I am guessing he is the front desk manager he was so polite and helpful. Offering to drive us into town in the hotel shuttle and always opening the door for us. Greg also writes amazing tips that you can pick up near the desk. We used all of his recommendations for hiking. He also has one for rainy days but we had perfect weather our whole stay. Matt was amazing to speak with and very kind and informative. Next the FOOD! The breakfast is amazing. Fresh pastry everyday all home made by the wonderful chef. We never felt like we were missing out on meat or not eating enough. They had different egg dishes each day and normally a second hot item. The food was all extremely fresh and being refilled and hot. The chef has worked there for 23 years and does the most amazing job. Fresh cookies in the lobby were our nightly treat after long hikes in the park. Plus hot tea and coffee and fruit anytime of day was a great mid day pick me up to drink on the balcony. They also were kind enough to let us take food back to the room for our early morning at Cadillac mountain. They had many prepackaged options like yogurt and jars of fresh granola and hard boiled eggs. The star of the show is definitely the baked goods I couldn't get enough of them and miss them each breakfast I've had since! They do have a small gift shop with some snacks and waters to buy. This was so helpful to be able to buy small things without leaving the hotel. Overall the bayview is an amazing place to stay with the most kind and attentive staff and I miss it dearly already. I shed a tear as we left and I'm hoping to be back soon.

Yelp
*one of my top 5 hotels ever* My husband and I decided to stay here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We splurged on the top floor room that overlooks the bay and we couldn't believe the view. The room was huge - a king bed, two huge chairs, a decent size bathroom, and we were able to watch the sunrise from our bed. We thought it was so sweet that they had a "happy anniversary" card and prosecco waiting for us in the room. Breakfast was fantastic despite being mostly grab-and-go. They are trying to bring back hot breakfast, which was on hold because of COVID. We loved the spread: muffins, scones, yogurts, hard boiled eggs.. Perhaps my favorite was the little jars of homemade overnight oats with fresh fruit. One morning it was blueberry and banana, another morning it was raspberries. So tasty! They also offered little burlap mini-totes so you could throw in some pre-wrapped muffins or trail mix if you are going on a hike. So smart. Some amenities that made the stay extra special and worth the price: 1. Free 'taxi' service into town. You just tell them when you want to go, and when you want to be picked up, and one of the hotel members drives you! This was certainly cheaper than an Uber, and we also felt like we could have some cocktails at dinner without worrying about driving. 2. A 24/7 coffee/tea bar. It was nice to come back from dinner and make a cup of tea before going to bed. They had real mugs and to-go mugs. 3. There is a lovely little bar off the side of the lobby. You can get a drink there and walk out onto the deck that overlooks the bay. 4. Location was convenient if you decide to do a boat tour - it's walking distance to where you need to meet the boat. 5. A little boutique off the lobby with clothing, candles, soaps, jewelry, books, snacks. Fun (although pricey). 6. Fruit-infused water and Whoopie Pies in the lobby 24/7. Apparently Whoopie Pies originated in Maine. Who knew?! This was probably one of my favorite hotels ever - the renovated decor was so modern and cute, with a nod to Maine nature. Local artists had paintings on the wall, and you could tell that the owner and/or designer took great care in making the hotel feel special, modern, and classy - but with a sense of whimsy. Truly a gorgeous place and a lovely hotel. Thank you for making our 10th anniversary so incredible!

Yelp
An absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff were incredible. The rooms were impeccable with an absolutely stunning view of the bay. The free shuttle into town, at your disposal, was great feature. If you are going to Bar Harbor and want a quiet stay, with a free shuttle to the section, you must stay here.

Yelp
This review would've been a 5/5 had it not been for a few things that could be ironed out with some effort. The room was a little outdated; no full shower door, the bidet is on the left side which would have been ok if I was left handed, they gave out minimum towels, the bay view is great had it not been that on the third floor where we stayed it was shared and other guests were intruding onto our space. Most importantantly, for someone like us used to the hotels in the US the room was not equiped with a microwave, and when we needed one because of a dish we received from a relative, I was asked to take it to the rooftop. When I need they made me leave it and was brought down to my room about 20 or more minutes later, and still half way cold with no spoons, although I asked for them. The staff expected a tip which I did not offer for obvious reasons. We would have had a great experience otherwise. My feedback is meant as a constructive criticism not to totally put down the hotel's worth. We plan on going back once a year but only if these changes are addressed. Thank you !

Yelp
Classy, unique hotel with excellent staff and delicious buffet breakfast. The view from the rooms is beautiful. If I ever make it back to Maine this is where I'll stay again.

Yelp
Excellent location overlooking Frenchman Bay in Bar Harbor. Rooms face the water. Efficient, friendly, very informative staff. Good recommendations for dining, hiking, tours, swimming, sailing and sightseeing Complimentary buffet breakfast daily and warm fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Free shuttles to town and to various tours by bus, boat, Cessna airplane. Take Acadia Tours. We were greeted by an American Bald Eagle sighting on our drive in over the water to the hotel! Amazing.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed a night at the Bayview, then 2 nights down the road at the BlueNose, and the comparison was very interesting. Same King room, similar size, at each place. Each place advertises itself as a 4 star property, and they are 2/10 of a mile apart. Posting this review for both properties. Price: The Bayview room was almost twice as expensive -- over $800 a night vs $450 a night at the Blue Nose. Winner: BlueNose by a mile. Property amenities: The Bayview had an outdoor pool. No elevator, which made dragging big bags ip stairs a major headache. Free parking. No fitness center. No laundry. By contrast, the BlueNose had indoor and outdoor pool, an elevator, free parking, a fitness center with steam room, laundry, and bikes. Both properties had very nice people working at the desk but the lobby area/gift shop at BlueNose is nicer. There's a free Bar Harbor shuttle bus that takes you to town and stops next door to the BlueNose, it does not go to Bayview. BlueNose also has roof deck bar. BlueNose has a clear edge. . Rooms: The rooms were similar. Both properties featured large rooms, both clean and fairly modern. The BlueNose had slightly nicer furniture, a room safe, a fireplace, massage chair, and bathrobes (none of those for Bayview). Both had a room fridge. Both had nice ocean views and balconies, the Blue Nose is a little further away from the water but a little closer to town. Overall, slight edge to BlueNose. BlueNose by a nose. Overall: Not even close. The Bayview is a plain, three star property marketing itself as four star and charging 5 star prices...it's a perfectly ok place to stay but waaaaay overpriced. The BlueNose is more in line with prices of other area hotels, a better property and a much better value.

Yelp
The Bayview is Fantastic!! Our room is perfect. It is large with a couch and 2 wing back chairs which we move in front of TV for clear viewing.. our balcony, overlooking the Bay, is very large with 4 chairs. I am with my 83 year old mother (on a bucket list trip) and the hotel staff have been absolutely EXEMPLARY. Matt and Chris at the front desk (Jeremy the shuttle driver) and the housecleaning staff Evelyn, Jhunna and Yvette were so wonderful and accommodating. My Mom sleeps very late and they have been so sweet and accommodating to come after 11am. That would NEVER happen in a chain hotel. Also must say the sheets were splendid and super soft as well as great quality pillows. I highly recommend this hotel in Bar Harbor!

Yelp
An incredible experience. location: perfect. accommodations: perfect. I don't know a strong enough word to describe the beyond perfect staff. They are superior in every way and made life easier. We did an extended stay and brought our pup, Bullitt, and they made all of us feel so welcome. This truly is a great place to stay with a dog. It's also a wonderful place to just relax, either in their lounge (the bar! the breakfasts!) or on the sea facing deck attached to each room. They also get all the details right from afternoon cookies/whoopie pies to their gift shop which is beyond clever and straight into thoughtful. We would stay here again.

Yelp
What a great place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! My wife and I stayed at the Bayview for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. The staff were super friendly, helpful and always available. The included breakfast was fresh and varied (it was great) and our server was also helpful in recommending a good place for a lobster roll (Side Street Cafe). We also took advantage of the afternoon/evening bar on our last night met some interesting people. Even though our room was right next door to the bar/kitchen, we didn't hear any noises at all. The room was large with a view out to Frenchman's bay and nothing but a lawn between you and the water. It was about a 12 minute walk into town over a smooth paved path (which we did a few times) but the free shuttle service provided by the hotel was great when the legs were tired from hiking Acadia trails all day. They even had binoculars, walking sticks, backpacks and iPhone lenses to borrow while you were there. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Near to the town of Bar Harbor but still nice and quiet.

Yelp
Clean as can be. The entire property is well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had a huge balcony with large sliding windows facing the water, possible to watch the sunrise from the bed. Beds are comfortable and clean. Great water pressure in the shower. The best hotel breakfast in the US in my limited experience. The afternoon cookies are freshly made and it shows. The last breakfast on the dining room balcony we saw an American Bald Eagle being chased by a couple of crows right over the lawn and water. Wow! That's the first time I've seen an American Bald Eagle in the wild. Impressive. Great way to end the trip. Love this place, I know why this is consistently booked. Thank you.

Yelp
$500 for room that is no better than one at a Holiday Inn. An ocean view, yes, half hidden by large tree. Unappetizing Continental breakfast with not good store bought muffin. Far better. breakfasts at Hampton Inns. Best advice: Stay away

Yelp
We stayed at The Bayview July 10-17 & couldn't have asked for a better experience! The hotel was DARLING, everyone who worked there was incredibly sweet, our room was unique & had the most incredible view! We had breakfast there every morning & it was so delicious (it's vegetarian but hey, it's nice to eat something other than bacon in the morning)! There's always someone upfront willing to help you, wether it be to get you a drink (the bar isn't always open but they're always there offering to grab you something) or recommendations on where to go, etc.! The shuttle service at the hotel was so helpful as there's not a lot of options as far as driving services go & the gentlemen who was running it that week was so sweet; but if you miss the hours of the shuttle it's not a long walk to downtown! Our room was eclectic & right up my alley, always clean & just the perfect view to wake up & go to bed to! I couldn't recommend The Bayview more!

Yelp
Summary: Great water front hotel. Such a relaxing time to be had here. Huge rooms, clean, and very friendly. The Food: I only made use of the breakfast so can't comment on dinner (if it's available?). Each day had different options so that was a great feature. Different egg styles each day. Plenty of options for both vegetarians, vegans, and omnivores alike. The fresh baked cookies at the front desk were fantastic. The Atmosphere: A very cute and relaxing inn by the water. Having the balconies facing the water was great. It was a very quiet and quaint place. Cannot complain. Couldn't hear much, but that may be a function of being at the end of the building. The Service: Very courteous. Gave great recommendations for hikes and rides in Acadia. Tips: Stay the week. Our long weekend was absolutely too short. Can't even imagine how cool Bar Harbor is for Fourth of July.
google avatar

Erica L.

Yelp
At $180 a night this inn definitely makes it worthwhile with the added touches. The breakfast is superb, at 2 pm each day fresh cookies are available, and the staff is very friendly. The inn offers a ride to and from Bar Harbor. The beds are comfy and the rooms well stocked. The room decor is what you would expect in the New England Area. All of the rooms are ocean-view an the entry is very inviting. The inn is very clean and is highly recommended.

Yelp
We had a great experience at the Bayview. The location is amazing and over looks the Frenchman Bay in Bar Harbor. Friendly staff with great recommendations. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Don't miss that part. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy but nice and clean. Things are dated but for the view, you don't care. We loved the free shuttle to and from things on the island. I'd stay here again!
google avatar

Yelp
All I can say is that my stay of the Bayview was nothing short of perfect. From the complimentary cookies at check-in to the friendly staff, I was quite pleased with the two nights I spent here. While the rooms were well appointed and had a great view of the surrounding harbor area, the real winner here was the staff and additional amenities provided. The staff jumped at the opportunity to make anything from dinner reservations, to tour suggestions. Additionally, the hotel offered shuttle service anywhere to/from downtown Bar Harbor. This hotel absolutely lives up to the expectation that it is the best hotel in Bar Harbor!

Justin W.

Yelp
We had such a wonderful experience here. The staff were incredible, funny and helpful. Always attentive and seemed to really care about our experience. Our room was very clean and large. Bed was comfortable and really nice soft sheets. Great water pressure on the shower. Excellent breakfast in the mornings from 7-9. This was the best part of our trip to Acadia.

Janaynay K.

Yelp
An unexpected delight!! A quaint and chic hotel. Beautiful views. Rooms could use some updated decor similar to the lobby and dining area; however, the beds were some of the most comfortable that I've ever slept in and very clean. Location is about a mile outside of the town of bar harbor but there is a free shuttle or there is a very walkable path if inclined. The best part of this hotel is probably the food! The complimentary breakfast included a small but very high quality buffet of fruit, oatmeal and homemade baked goods. Plus, there was a choice between two hot breakfast plates that were excellent. There was also afternoon offerings of cookies and other treats for guests.

Suzanne M.

Yelp
The hotel entrance, staff and dining area were awesome. Our room was damp and dated. We were on the first floor and there was a big bug in the bathroom. Maybe was he other rooms are better!?!? Not what I'd expect for the price.

Yelp
My family and I have gone to the Bayview for years, and we plan on traveling to Maine for a week and staying at the Bayview again this summer. The facilities are excellent, and the staff could not be more friendly or hospitable. Acadia National Park is in close proximity to the hotel, and downtown bar harbor is just miles away. On top of all this, the hotel serves an insanely good breakfast and afternoon cookies! I highly recommend the Bayview for all.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
The hotel is very nice. The breakfast is large and good. The view from our room is excellent. It is a 15 minute walk into the center of town. The staff is outstanding. The room is large and well equipped and everything is very clean. The only problem is that it is like staying with your grandmother. Everything is chintzy and flowery and dowdy. The soap smells like roses. There should be doilies on every horizontal surface.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
The Bayview was a pleasant surprise. The location is perfect. You feel like you're far away from the town, but you're actually very close. They provide a free shuttle service to take you to and from anywhere you want in town. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. The biggest surprise was the complimentary breakfast. The offerings were varied and extensive as well as delicious. I don't think I've ever had that quality of breakfast at a hotel, complimentary or not. I really appreciate the care and attention the chef and kitchen staff put into providing a fantastic breakfast every morning. Try the seaweed salad. It's impressive.

P V.

Yelp
Loved it! Tony and Chris were great, friendly and helpful. The room is a little dated but it's huge and spotlessly clean. The breakfast, especially the croissants were superb! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and was not disappointed at all! Beautiful property right on the water that boasts amazing sunrise, sunset and anytime views. Service was impeccable, everyone was super friendly and their baker is quite skilled. The afternoon cookies were a nice touch and the rooms were quite large and roomy. Sheets were super soft, however the bed was a bit on the firm side. Complimentary breakfast was tasty, however, I wish they had more savory items since it was a very carb heavy spread. Furnishings were a bit dated and the tv was quite small, but still a lovely place to stay for the weekend. Note, this hotel is not on the main strip, however they do provide shuttle service to wherever you need to go over on the main drag. I could see this to be a bit annoying when Bar Harbor crowds start filling up, however during our stay this was not an issue.

Yelp
So friendly, so accommodating, so clean. This is a wonderful hotel. We stayed in a townhouse which was very spacious. And so clean. The breakfast was perfect. Homemade granola, oatmeal, hot items every day. Loads of house made items. You really can't go wrong here!!

Mike V.

Yelp
Very good experience here. The staff was great especially Trish who was great source of suggestions and advice on things to do. Shuttle service was handy to avoid the parking challenges in town during a busy weekend. Breakfast was good enough to save the extra expense of eating in town. Room was large and clean. Very nice balcony and view of the bay. About 1.5 miles from town so a pretty good walk but the shuttle ran early and late enough to make transportation easy.

Michael B.

Yelp
Just had an excellent two night stay at The Bayview, the highlights were the direct waterfront views, humongous ultra quiet guestroom, friendly staff, immaculate housekeeping and convenient location. We got a king room and it was one of the largest single guestrooms I think I've ever stayed in. You almost feel like you are on a ship at sea, with the huge private deck and practically overwater location. The fresh baked cookies at the end of the day were a nice touch and it was also good to have full amenities like microwave, fridge and extra seating, tables, etc in our room. If I had to come up with any cons I'd say it was the lack of an elevator to get to our 2nd story room, but they do offer to carry your bags if you want.

Vivian S.

Yelp
Clean and very comfortable. Pleasant and a spectacular view of Acadia National Park !

Mary C.

Yelp
We stayed a week at the Bayview for a family reunion, renting two of the condos on the property. The condos were perfect, plenty of room, clean and comfortable beds. The view is amazing with a heated pool which was perfect for the kids to jump in after a hike on a hot day. The full breakfasts were delicious with pastries made on site. There were enough options for everyone and they even made a dairy free option each morning for two of our group with a milk allergy. They also, with out asking, specially made dairy free cookies and set them aside for our daughter in the afternoon so she could have cookies with the other kids. It was also our son's birthday while there and the staff went out of their way to wish him a happy birthday with balloons and a card. Lastly the shuttle to town was invaluable, especially with the road construction going on. I can't say enough about how fantastic this place is and how amazing the staff are. We will certainly be back!!

ERICH K.

Yelp

Yelp
We were here for 4 nights and it was a great place! From the awesome view from our balcony to the plentiful breakfasts in the charming dining room, we enjoyed our spacious room and amenities. The staff is friendly and informative. The shuttle into town is a life-saver since parking downtown is scarce. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job and the bath linens are thicker and softer than normal hotels. The afternoon cookie assortment was delicious and we looked forward to it each day...a sweet touch. You won't be disappointed here.

Yelp
This lovely inn and suites has a beautiful view and serves delicious breakfasts on the balcony. There is a quaint little bar for early evening bevvies. The suites are well appointed and even have lobster pots, nut crackers, and lobster picks. They are a short hop from Parsons seafood where you can buy yummy lobsters and more. The staff is the epitome of friendly to the person and helpful with terrific suggestions of where to go and what to do. A shuttle runs on demand to town until 10 p.m. The chef went to the trouble to make a special batch of amazing gluten free sugar cookies just for me. Hands down the best lodging experience you can get!
