Great place to hear live music and have a drink on the beach. Staff is great.

The Beach Bar on Fort Myers Beach advertises a “happy hour,” but there are actually no drink/food specials. When I asked the bartender about it, he explained that their “happy hour” simply refers to the live music. That was disappointing and felt a bit misleading, since most people reasonably expect happy hour to include discounted drinks/food. Also worth noting: this beach bar serves drinks only — there is no food available. That said, the location is undeniably beautiful. Sitting directly in the sand with Gulf views and live music creates a great beach atmosphere. Because the setting and entertainment are already such strong draws, The Beach Bar really doesn’t need to advertise something that suggests drink specials when none exist. A lovely place to enjoy a drink on the sand and listen to some great local artists at Fort Myers Beach.

Met some people at The Beach Bar for a day on the beach, what a great time!!!! Service was great, drinks were not that expensive and the music and atmosphere were top notch. Sitting on the beach with the sun on your face, they have umbrellas if you want one, and spending the day with friends turned out to be a perfect day. The parking can be a little tricky, but its worth it.

Service was impeccable. The drinks were perfect. The music was amazing. I must see. I can’t wait to come back.

It’s on the beach, what more can you say! Well, it is a nice spot for some drinks right on the beach. Toes in the sand! The parking sucks. There are a few spots next to the place, but not many. They had live music (Cedrick Talton Experience) and it was jamming. We were here on 7/19/25.

Chairs and tables on the beach! Perfect place to start or end the night. We started here around 3:00. We were doing some bar hopping so started with this place. Have rebuilt after hurricane and same vibe. Buckets of beers. Live music just ok for our tastes. No wait staff so order at bar.

Great place to chill in the sand and enjoy a cold beer or cocktail at the beach. Lots of tables with umbrellas in the sand. We got lucky the day we went- there was a Stevie Ray Vaughan cover band playing and they were awesome!

Day 1 and out of the gates Mickin' Arse!! So happy and proud for owner Greg and his team- phoenix, out of the ashes/sand they've built a Beautiful joint with all the upgraded dive-y feel from 3 years ago. Monumental effort, happy to be here on Day 1! Frozen pins colada excellent, great beers and awesome vibe.

It's a great place if you are looking for a Jimmy Buffet vibe. It is located directly on the beach so you can literally have your feet in the sand as you enjoy your drinks and bar food. There is always music playing and usually someone live playing guitar on crowded days/nights. The food is pretty standard bar food and the drinks are good. The real draw here is actually being on the beach. There is also a volleyball net just outside the bar where you can often see people playing as you are drinking. It's a great place to chill out on the beach. The biggest bummer is the lack of parking. What parking there is is very sparse and expensive. But, that is nothing new for beach life.

My wife & I ventured to FMB today for the first time since Hurricane Ian. We've been living in the area for 4 years and sadly never knew this place existed. It was obscured by bigger buildings but now is standing alone. They were down for only 97 days before re-emerging from the ashes. It's a humble re-start but definitely worth your time to stop and give your patronage. It's right on the sandy shore of FMB and although just a small operation right now they are serving up some awesome ice cold adult refreshments that can be enjoyed at one of their numerous umbrella covered tables on the beach. Matt was our bartender and he was awesome! They also have live music and that started at 1:00 today. What's not to love? Cold brews, music, great service, killer beach vibe and an opportunity to help rebuild FMB.

Great service, great music and perfect low key beach vibe. Stopped here on a 2-hour break between meetings and a flight. Best idea I had all week.

I was staying in an airbnb right next door to TBB. Each day I saw everyone having a good time at the beachside tables, and there was always good live music wafting from the establishment. Midway during my vacation I ambled over to check it out. I was met and warmly greeted by the general manager/bartender on duty Matt F. I mentioned to him that some previous Yelp reviews indicated that TBB only had beer and wine and a cash only policy. He assured me that they take credit cards and contactless payment (I used Apple Pay). He also had available "well quality" basic liquor available, as well as a frozen drink machine. There's a good selection of beers available as well as made in Fort Myers spiked seltzer. I had the BOGO of the day, two 16 oz. cups of Shock Top ale for $6.00! There's limited bar snacks available, however they have a partnership with MoJoe's Cafe around the corner, wherein you can get wood-fired pizza delivered to your table. In summary, The Beach Bar epitomized that divey laid back vibe that FMB is known for. I enjoyed it very much, and would definitely return next vacation.

Great dive beach bar. Live music sometimes, or just plain good old classic rock on the speakers. Life doesn't get much better than cold beer with your feet in the sugary white sand while watching the sun set. Cash only, though.

Total dive on the beach with a huge selection of canned beer and mixed drinks. Also has a nice outdoor beach area for consuming your cold beverage of choice!

It is exactly what it's name is......a beach bar. Nothing fancy and no liquor just beer. Busy place with lots of good people watching. Volleyball was set up on the beach and the seating area was full. Great place to stop on a walk to the pier.

Cool, laid-back dive-ishy bar with great music! I was in Fort Meyers Beach for a day and had some time to kill. So glad I accidentally stumbled upon this place! It was exactly the kind of bar I love- mellow, non-pretentious, with friendly patrons and staff. Good beer choices- I had an IPA on tap. (Ok- I had a bunch of IPA's on tap!) Most importantly is that the music comin' out of the speakers was what I liked- Classic Rock. There's nothing worse than ordering a drink at a bar and then having to be subjected to a genre of music that makes your ears bleed...it ruins everything! Not a problem here though. There's places to sit both inside and out so if you want shade you got it- if you want sun and white sand- you got that too. The view can't be beat as the bar is directly on the beach facing the sea. Maybe it's the day/month I was there but it wasn't touristy which was an added plus. The bartender was so nice! I can't remember his name but he's from long island. Also- a special shout out to 3 regulars there who are now my new pals: Gary, Rob, and Tom! You guys rock! See ya next time I'm in FMB!

Best bar in Ft Myers! We stayed in the apartment above it years ago, one of my best trips there! it's a great place with good people!

Limited to beer and wine but that works for me and the wife. Great spot on the beach with live band's. Clean place but kind of lacking in parking unless you get real lucky.

Celebrated my best friends 22nd here unplanned and it was SO much fun!!! Everyone was very kind and made us feel so comfortable and safe!! We had a blast dancing to the live music

I was in there with a coke . sitting with friends at a table. A punk by the name of Anthony came up and told me I had to leave for having a drink in the Beach bar. I got up and left he followed me from behind I could feel him breathing behind my back once we got to the end he told me to keep going I was on public property at time and I told him I wasn't going anywhere he punched me in my hands and knocked the drink out of my hand I actually have a broken bone from it he's lucky .. I walked away . Stay out of the Beach bar new owners avoid the place at all costs as many other good places to go to at the beach try Shuckers the cottage emails to name a few stay out of the Beach bar

On the sand and volleyball playing... good company, live music and they do have sandwiches!! Buy your own mug and get discounts... Yay

Ft Myers beach traffic is the worst!! So after declaring that our vehicle would not leave the hotel lot, we hit the beach and took a walk and found the Beach Bar. It is what it is. A bar...on the beach. Tables outside in the sand, a great assortment of drinks available, and two guys playing guitar singing Seger, Springsteen, Cash and lots of other great tunes. We sat there for hours...and hoped we would recognize our hotel on the walk back. lol.

I'm not even going to read other reviews as to why this place only has 3.5 stars. 5 STARS, hands down, end of story. Why? You're on the beach for a few hours and as a tourist that didn't lug a cooler or a cart or a tent with you, you're hot as hell and parched. Where to go? 100 FEET INLAND TO THE BAR. So nice and easy. Shaded tables, bathrooms for paying customers, and oh yeah BEER. (Maybe liquor too, but I wanted more hydration and less turnt.) When you think of "Beach Pub", this is it. Unpretentious dive bar serving cheap drinks. I can't think of a better place to go if you didn't bring your own beverages from the numerous 7-11s. JUST DON'T PUT YOUR SHOES ON THE TABLE-YOUR GRANDMA TAUGHT YOU BETTER THAN THAT

Cool place! The live music mixed with a sunset daily, you can't go wrong! Awesome ambiance! Love this place, and they always have great music. The people are always fun. You can walk right off the beach and grab a drink! Chairs and tables on the sand. Recommended!!

This is a great place for a drink on the beach, you really get the beach feeling. I only give it 4 stars because its not a full bar and only serves bar finger foods. However its location right along the beach and the service here definitely makes is a beautiful and relaxing place to be. You can grab a beer and be back at your spot on the beach really fast. There are other places on the beach but they that are farther down the beach by Lani Kai and they have so many rules and tell you that you cant be here if you have booze and so on. The beach pub isn't like that, its way laid back and is just a great place to stop.

A friend had recommended or us to give this place a try, cold beer, colder beer, outdoor haven! My wife and I stopped what was intended to be for one beer, ended up staying for an hour and was late meeting up with our dinner party. LOL So such is life when you find a spot that is just what you were looking for! Great cold beer and the locals that hang out there make you feel welcomed. Give it a try!

What a perfect "coming right from the beach" bar. Grab a drink, and enjoy the music right on the sand! Just didn't give it 5 stars because of very few drink selections. But didn't stop us from having a GREAT TIME! It is the perfect super casual beach bar, come as you, grab a table, relax, enjoy, and dance to the great music! First time reviewing on yelp tonight, so can't get the pictures to upload. Next time :-)

It is what it is and that's all you need! It's not supposed to be fancy or have a ton of options. It's the beach pub. It literally opens onto the beach and has games and live music and some drinks and snacks. Enjoy the atmosphere!

I get the beach bar three stars for the view is beautiful view the beach is so beautiful here people are playing volleyball are you set an a watch them and order sheet rock the wait staff there isn't any but you can go to the bar and get 20 bucks out of the ATM and have enough drinks to make yourself feel fun and live music this is a must to Beach bar atmosphere and I think that everybody that comes here that has $20 girl have a awesome experience and a beautiful view of the beach great neighborhood pub

Not much to go bad here. Beer in buckets with ice. Tables on the beach. Nice taking down the American flags ceremony at sunset. Live music was very sub par but that's why the 4 star. If they were to get decent live music it would have been 5.

We were walking from our condo on the beach to Times Square and decide to stop in for a drink. What a great find! Bartender was very friendly. Great tables with umbrellas in the sand. Fabulous music. Went back several times. The last time, live music started at 2pm. Only disappointment is that many smokers show up which is tough when you can't tolerate the smoke.

Great bar to watch the sunset on Fort Myers Beach, though be warned that this isn't a place I would recommend bringing your children. This bar by the time sunset comes is usually full of really drunk people who've had quite the fun day on the beach. Drinks are decently priced, though it can be difficult to get the bartenders to come over, usually only 1 or 2 on shift. We usually go around 3 or so and then the bar closes down immediately after sunset. Upstairs there's a more formal restaurant that I would recommend for food.

Good place to stop in a have a BEER. They don't really have liquor. They have some kind of 24% "rum" that they can pass off as real booze if you want them to fill 75% of your glass with it. Excellent location, lots of tables, bags, volleyball, pool, live music etc. Great spot to sit in the sun and put your feet in the sand (their tables are actually on the beach - bonus!) Ms. PacMan game wasn't working - bust!

SCARY!! Big screaming bartender from hell. First place we saw on the beach totally empty; wasn't a mystery for long.

This establishment is right off the beach. It looks like it's in an open basement. The ambiance has a tiki, yet homey feel to it. The bartender was super friendly & incredibly artistic (I wish I could remember his name). There was a wide variety of beer in cans, bottles & on tap. There was also a variety of mixed drinks, however no one in our group had one so I'm not sure about the price or quality. It is cash only & there is no food. But it was the perfect place to sit & enjoy a beer or 2 to escape the hot sun

Awful. We came here for a couple drinks and one of the staff members came over and screamed at us accusing us of underage drinking. Immediately stereotyped us because we're in our 20's so we must be causing issues right? Avoid this place...

The guy working here was so rude, My friend and I didn't feel comfortable spending our money there. Maybe he was intimidated because we were 21 and young being that this place only consisted of an older crowd/families. Every comment that came from this mans mouth was just rude, my friend wanted 2 drinks and the guy immediately goes "who's the other one for" and "you gotta drink it here", he was constantly scoffing and rolling his eyes and being passive aggressive until my friend goes "fuck this let's go somewhere else". Never wanna step foot in their again...buncha meanies!

The worst place I have ever went to !!! Tuesday getaway from the city Just came to get a drink and didn't even plan to stay there but the bartender was very rude even when my husband left him 100% tip. And I was trying to use a restroom but he didn't let me in . It's crazy to have someone like that behind the bar.

To Lou and the Crew; We just spent a week there.we had an Amazing time. Everyone that works at the Pub are down to earth, very friendly atmosphere, fantastic live music, out going to make sure you enjoyyour visit. We have been coming here every year and will continue to do so. Highly recommend stopping by here for an experience you will always remember.

The owner is incredibly anal. He runs around policing not his staff, but his patrons. "You're too close to this, or that." You ask for basic things and the vibe is that you should just be glad to be eating and drinking there. There's a big attitude problem. I come from a place where southern hospitality is held in high regard. You won't find any semblance of that notion here. Food and drinks are very mediocre. For the price any other place on FMB is better.

This place was fine. It's got a place to chill out and get a lay of the land so to speak. If you want to case the area for what fun is up next then you'll definitely want to be checking this place out. I wouldn't stay for long if you like upper shelf booze. The stuff they had on well was definitely gut rot. I think best for you beer drinkers. You can kick off your shoes here and put your toes in the sand, but I wouldn't stay and eat. It did not look too appetizing. Lots of college and frat types here. Great for a quick stop in though.

We loved this place! The live music was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. The beer prices were cheaper than the other places on the beach. Will definitely go back on our next visit to Fort Meyers Beach.

terrible terrible place, don't order any drinks besides beer otherwise don't expect alcohol in them. the guy bar tender is a complete asshole. they accept cash only so after i got money out of the atm i was told "hopefully someone pays cash or i don't have money for you" i withdrew FIFTY dollars. ridiculous. i watched him call girls in their 20's sluts, bitches etc, just because they used the bathroom together. after that incident a lot of his customers left and i don't blame them.

ORDER A BEER! Do not make the mistake my girlfriend and her mother made thinking they could get Pina Coladas. There was no alcohol in them cause they really don't carry much liquor.
