The Beach Bar

Such a beautiful establishment! The service was amazing, it was my birthday and the bartender definitely gave us a wonderful experience! Drinks were so yummy and everyone in the place was having a great time! Definitely going back thank you guys for a wonderful experience!

This is definitely a small place that you'd be forgiven for missing white driving down Hernando Beach. It also appears from the outside like a place most would not venture into. But honestly it's a hidden gem. I had the Italian grinder sandwich and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The bathrooms were emaculately clean. I've been in alot fancier more expensive places that weren't that clean. The staff was super friendly. The service was excellent. The beers are cold. The outside area on the water is like a patio you'd want at your own home. I know from the outside it looks like not a first choice place to go but it's now one of my favorite places in Hernando Beach.

I've only been here once, but plan on being here much more. Better than the average karaoke, some were exceptional! Split a sub that was made as well as could be for the price. Macy was our bartender, and her awareness and attention to detail made the difference for us! She was taking care of everyone with a smile on her face. Everyone was served in turn. Couples, families and singles all taken care of with a deceptive quickness, for anyone who's ever worked in the service industry. (Non bar & restaurant peeps are usually the biggest whiners, and smallest tippers, but she took care of them all with equal enthusiasm) Our first visit also had a small 3 ft alligator just off the back deck. One of the best local beer and wine places I've found so far. Comfortable areas for different sized groups, and the clientele was mostly welcoming. One obnoxious drunk little old lady was the exception, but they hustled her out of there as soon as her personality & the alcohol turned her into a beast of a Karen! I don't know if it was her family, or the establishment, but the whole crowd heaved a sigh of relief and went back to having a good time! LOL Great place, well run, with dart boards and a 7ft pool table. Smoking section outside, out back. The perfect place to hang out, if you're not one of those white tablecloth, $5 for a side of dressing kind of people. Thanks for the hospitality!

This beach bar is such a friendly place you have to try it and try out the grinders. Very fresh food and the coldest beer in town.

I had a wonderful time everyone was very friendly. I don't know if they have food I didn't ask for any.

Best bar on the beach! We enjoy the atmosphere. Laid back, not crazy full with overly excited people just good people.

First time ever in the beach bar. although we pass by every day. Small, very clean, good atmosphere. Had a great time with April on karaoke! She is marvelous.

Great place to have a cold beer. This was my first visit and found the staff and patrons to be the friendliest of any place in the area. Took my beer out on the deck and was entertained by an alligator that I was told visits frequently. The prices were more than competitive. If I lived closer, I would make this bar my home base. Will still drive to Hernando Beach occasionally and stop in at the Beach Bar.

Cold beer and free pool. Driving through hermano county after visiting Rural King needed something to quench our thirst.

Very friendly "locals" joint. Most people come to Hernando Beach for the touristy seafood restaurants which, by the way, are worth the trip if that's what you're after. But if you just wanna relax, throw down some beers and rub elbows with the locals, this is the place to do it. Never had a bad time there.

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. You can eat in the bar,or a separate dining room, or outside under umbrellas in a nice garden alongside the river. Give it a try, you will love it.

Great place for a home base. Local pub atmosphere. Sit on the back deck overlooking the water, catching a glimpse of one of three local Gators and turtles. Open pool tables every Saturday. Great company! Great food! Great atmosphere.....Coldest beer on the beach.......
