If you are looking for a camping or “glamping” experience, this may be a great option. Unfortunately that is not what we were looking for or expected at all for nearly $300 a night.
Pros: Owner Shannon was very responsive and friendly. The property has its own private pool and serves fruit, yogurt, and eggs every morning. There is AC and a ceiling fan. Parking is right out front. Walkable to downtown.
Cons: Upon arrival our bungalow was taken by another party so we had to call Shannon to arrange a different bungalow, which worked out temporarily, but then she moved us again two days later to accommodate other incoming guests. Having to repack our bags for 1 night made for a poor experience, especially since we weren’t accommodated in any way for the inconvenience. In addition, both bungalows had tons of ants/insects on the floor, curtains, and shower. No insulation, so we could hear the conversations of the people in the bungalow next to us, and loud motorcycles and music on the road kept us up all night - ear plugs were a must! Showers were very old and worn - what we’d expect from a campsite.
