The Beach Club Gili Air Scallywags Resort

In the past few years I had the opportunity to come back a few times to Scallywags Gili Air and this time has been absolutely amazing. The rooms are really comfortable and cozy with all the amenities you need for an island holiday. The service is so personalized and there's a new general manager now (Mr Sami) who is always present checking on the service given by the staff and making sure you've got everything you need.The beach is so clean and well kept (nothing compared with other beaches on the island where you easily find trash here and there), the food is really good and fresh. I will definitely be back in the future and I would suggest this resort to anyone looking for the best location/bungalow/service among the so many present on the island. Thank you very much to everyone at Scallywags who made my holiday special.

A magical spot to have dinner right on the sea. The BBQ is amazing - enjoy fresh seafood, veggies or meat, with great staff. A truly special place.

Ate a gourmet red snapper dinner tonight next to the ocean surf and with beautiful music. Excellent attentive service from Arya and the team he was training. Spectacular presentation and preparation of the dish. Highly recommended.

We only had a coffee here and were disappointed it cost $7.00 aud each. It was cold and weak coffee. There are great places on gilli to have coffee. Don't get one here. Very disappointing.

Definitely the best resort on the island! Two people that made it memorable are Andi and Narayana. They delivered excellent service and went over and beyond. The beach front makes this place an excellent location.

Sammy has arrived! I went to Gilli Air for the first time in 2014 so I was pensive about returning 10 years later. I was truly impressed with the beach club. Food was great and the Strawberry Daiquiri was amazing.Breakfast was included with a great range to select from. all made fresh and a leisurely stroll to find a complimentary sun bed (included in accommodation) that overlooks the magnificent Mount Rinjani on Lombok. Staff were really helpful and even when you cross their paths on the island they are smiling and being witty smart. Gilli air is the go for me. I will be back with my sons to get open water scuba.

Stayed at the scallywags smugglers in the middle of the island for 2 nights, we loved it so much that we extended another two nights at the beach resort, which was even better! Location, staff and rooms all brilliant, the breakfast was excellent. The hotel has an area on the beach where you can use the sunbeds for free if you are at the hotel. Will hopefully be back one day 🙏

Absolutely loved Scallywags, Sandy beach with deep water a few steps from very comfortable room, air con and shower were great. My husband and I stayed for a week, did a snorkel tour, waterfall day trip, relaxed on the beach, hired snorkels and fins from a lovely man right out the front, walked about 10 or 15 minutes, jumped in and floated 'home' seeing so many nice fish and turtles. Everyone on Gili air was lovely, but the Scallywags staff were the best. Thank you!
