Great spot to take a break from the cliff side walks. The service was lovely. Some of the customers need to consider the value of kindness to workers providing them a service. The views are amazing. It was too cold to sit outside but I’d love to come back here for pudding or a drink!

Great pub in a great location. Went here during seven sisters hike. The place was very busy and service was quick. Most of the food items were well done; unfortunately our chips were undercooked, and we had a difficult time getting their attention to get a replacement. They did replace, but only after we were done with our meal. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent views with dog walking areas nr restaurant. Beachy Head allows dogs inside so proved very popular and busy. Bit of a wait for food due to it being a Saturday. Staff friendly and efficient. Food excellent and reasonable priced. Would recommend

Second time to be here! I knew it was gonna be a busy time (weekend + lunch time). I think it’s the only place where you can grab good food within the area (Beachy Head), I made sure to reserve a table at the dining area. Understandably, there is some waiting time for the food. But overall, the food is always great here, beautiful interior, with gorgeous views from the outside. The staff are really nice too no matter how busy they are. 💙

We had a wonderful experience here! The location is absolutely beautiful with a stunning view, and we really enjoyed watching the sunset. The food was delicious and the service was excellent – a special thanks to our waiter Aaron, who made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The Beachy Head pub must surely be blessed with some of the most finest and scenic views in the whole of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and whole of the U.K. 🇬🇧. A very popular Inn and stop off point for the motorist, and hikers, ramblers who intend to stroll along the South Downs Way. The Beachy Head a large public house with a spacious car park, and you can even bring your dog 🐶 inside ...water provided in bowls. The food great, I recommend the 10oz Rib Eye 🥩 steak, delicious! It is also a good landmark on the headland. After my meal I did some wildlife watching spotting some rare orchids, and other chalkland specialities of wild flowers and insects, particularly butterflies 🦋. Also a very well known birdwatching area, probably best at dawn though ... Today Sunday 29/6/25 the temperature reached 30 plus degrees, and the butterflies 🦋 were out in full abundance. Start venturing the many footpaths just opposite from the Inn across the busy Beachy Head road...please take care in crossing! Very popular with bikers I noticed! A bus stop outside the Pub with service No.13X being very frequent both directions, links Brighton to Eastbourne and via other bus stops along the route over the headland at 🛎 Belle Tout lighthouse ( a converted private residence situated on top of the 530ft cliff) and the Birling Gap at the western end of the headland. South Down breed of sheep to be seen grazing on the surrounding Downs, Skylarks were in full song over the whole area. We'll worth the visit, choose a good weather forecast before you engage your journey whether by walking 🚶 or by public transport 🚍 primarily bus. Also good place for any artist 🎨 to put their skills to the easel or a writer to be inspired with a story or poetry to capture one's imagination. As indeed, any photographer could be well rewarded who wish to obtain the wide vista landscape sea and sky views of land, air and sea combined. Could be interesting to capture a good sunrise or sunset 🌅🌄 picture. 📷📸👍 Enjoy! A real gem in Sussex and a great place, certainly for me one of the very best in the U.K.🇬🇧👍

We visited on a Sunday around 12.30. They only had a table (101) near to the bar. The entrance door does not close correctly, so there is constant breeze blowing through to the table, this isn't helped by the fact that they wedge the second internal doors open. We proceeded to order 3 Sundays roasts and. Chicken schnitzel at around 12.40. My friend arrived 10 minutes later and ordered the same sunday lunch. At 14.10 one of the meals was served (by a young male of teenage years)- no cutlery was provided and we waiting expecting them to bring some. 10 minutes later the dish was cold due to the breeze and we gave up waiting and asked a member of staff for some cutlery. They begrudgingly gave us one knife and fork. At 14.30 the other 4 meals still hadn't arrived, so i asked what I assume is the manager (older gentleman with grey hair) and he went away to the kitchen then came back to say they were plating it up. At 14.40 we finally had all of the dished served and before the server could run away we asked for some cutlery. To be fair the food was ok. A general pub Sunday lunch. The only comment of the food was that the side salad came with just plain salad leaves, no olive oil or other dressing. I can understand that it's a busy location on a Sunday. But that shouldn't mean that service should be so bad - the bare minimum of cutlery to eat with shouldn't need to be asked for. A little bit of staff training would probably solve the issue. Placing a dish on a table and immediately running away without giving the customer a chance to ask for cutlery or even looking g on the table to see if they have cutlery isn't a big ask. The next issue may be the location we were seated (near the bar). There is a constant sound of smashing glasses as they throw empty bottles into a bin under the bar. Maybe try to get seated well away. Would I visit again if I was in the area? At a push, if I had no other option. I would more likely drive to somewhere else to see if i could get better service though. I've left a photo attached that I took while my friends were waiting for their meal, as you can see I had finished and theirs hadn't arrived.
