The Bed & Breakfast

Just left this morning. Simply brilliant place run by lovely people. If you want somewhere affordable in Lucerne this is it. ||It's just 20 minutes walk from the old town, bus and train stations, and the ferry. ||Nice and quiet, great breakfast, wonderful staff.

This is a great choice for a budget friendly B&B in Lucerne! It was convenient to reach the train station or Lake Lucerne by just a short 15 minute bus ride. Staying at this B&B also provides you with a free public transportation pass to use for the duration of your stay as well, which was well-appreciated. ||The room itself was nothing particularly special, but was good value for the money. We did have to share a bathroom with the other rooms, but we did not really mind as there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We would love to stay here again.

Isabella and all the staff at The B&B in Lucerne were very welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location in a quiet residential area on a road with very little automobile traffic, mainly just bicycle traffic. The bus stop at Eichof is only a five minute walk and the #1 or #14 bus gets you to the main train station in about ten minutes. You can also walk to a forested area with miles of trails in about ten minutes. ||The garden is a peaceful place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of touring.||Being an old house, I expected it to be noisy but our room was extremely quiet and we slept soundly each night. We were in the attic room (#11) which was very quiet and spacious. I’m 5’9” and I hit my head a few times going up and down the stairs so it might not be the right room for a very tall person. The shower was great with plenty of hot water.||I would definitely recommend The Bed & Breakfast when visiting Lucerne.

Absolutely lovely. The eye for detail. Nice and clean. Comfy beds and super friendly hosts. Walking distance to the old town.

Great location out of the downtown hustle but close enough to walk. Breakfast was fresh and very good. Quiet place but guests and owner friendly, helpful, and cheerful.

We had a great stay at The Bed and Breakfast. Quick bus ride from the train station with many options so didn’t have to wait long at all. They also provide you free usage of the public transportation system. The room was spacious with a fan and plenty of shared bathrooms, so no issues with needing to wait. Breakfast spread was great and the workers were super helpful!

Very well run and well thought out accommodation. Breakfast is good value, the coffee machine available at all times is great. The shared fridge is a nice touch and the laundry is very convenient and a generous price which saved us a couple of hours of our own time. The rooms are clean and a good size, the staff are friendly and helpful. Can't really fault the place!

I would give this a hundred billion stars if I could! Host Isabelle was incredible! Absolutely the best woman ever! She was so kind and accommodating. She made the stay feel like an invite into her own home. The rooms were so cute and well decorated. I loved all the homey touches. There were plenty of clean bathrooms and showers to go around. The garden is a nice quiet space. The location was super convenient to busses and Mt Pilatus. We got around everywhere very easily. The breakfast room was quaint and a delight to dine in! The healthy spread consisted of various fresh breads, jams, Nutella, honey, yogurt, cereal, eggs and more. Seriously, what is not to like? I left with a smile on my face, wishing we could stay longer. Thanks Isabelle and team!

This has to be one of the best places I've stayed at in Europe. It's a small quaint place just 15 min walk from old town and 5 mins from new town. The staff is super friendly and eager to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The rooms and clean and comfortable with beautiful views windows to look out at. They have shared bathrooms but they are always clean and ready to go. They serve a traditional breakfast here with wonderful breads, cheeses, cereals, sliced meats and fruit. Just what you need to start the day off. I would highly recommend this place to any travelers. I'll definitely stay here again the next time we pass through.

To say that this is an amazing place to stay would be an understatement! The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were heavenly. On top of all that the breakfast was really really good! I will definitely stay here again.

We found this hotel b&b online. There were 4 of us including a 9 year old. We loved the owners and overall it was an excellent value that included breakfast and only a 15 minute walk to the Old City
