My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bed + Breakfast! The staff was kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was updated and clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at The Bed and Breakfast. The house was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of all of our needs. The breakfast spread each morning was very good--everyone found something that they liked. Despite the lodging being full, I never felt we had to wait to use the shared restrooms and rarely ran into another guest in the halls. The location was removed from the bustle of the old town, but near enough to walk to all the sights and to several great restaurants. We felt well-cared for while far from home.

If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! I stayed here for two nights and genuinely wished I had planned a longer visit—for many reasons. We arrived around noon on our first day and were warmly welcomed by the kind and attentive staff. Our room was ready within about 15 minutes, which gave us time to receive a helpful orientation and our complimentary traveler pass for free city bus rides. The bedroom was spacious, especially considering the charming house it’s located in. The bathroom was well-sized—no awkward maneuvering around the shower, toilet, or sink (photos attached for reference). While there’s no air conditioning, the ceiling fan worked well, and the windows can be opened for fresh air. Breakfast was just what I hoped for, with a nice selection including boiled eggs. I especially appreciated the option to enjoy coffee or tea at any time of day. I found it relaxing to sip herbal tea in the evening by the bedroom window. The location is ideal—just a quick 10-minute bus ride to the main train station, or a pleasant 15–20-minute walk into the heart of town. We spent both days exploring Lucerne and visiting Mt. Pilatus, usually returning around 6 or 7 p.m. A small note: the walls are thin, so it’s best to be mindful and quiet in the hallways during the evening hours. Overall, this is a charming and character-filled place nestled in a residential neighborhood. I’d absolutely stay here again!

The room was classic and clean, comfortable for my kids and me. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served early in the morning, complete and delicious. I would highly recommend staying here.

I had a very unpleasant experience with this property. According to their own cancellation policy, if canceled less than 48 hours before arrival, they should only charge the first night. However, they charged my credit card for the entire reservation, even though I was entitled to pay for just one night. I contacted them to request a refund for the extra night, but the situation was handled poorly and without any sense of fairness. This is unacceptable, and I feel I was charged unfairly. I would not recommend this place to anyone, as trust and transparency are essential in hospitality – and unfortunately, they failed in both.

Just left this morning. Simply brilliant place run by lovely people. If you want somewhere affordable in Lucerne this is it. ||It's just 20 minutes walk from the old town, bus and train stations, and the ferry. ||Nice and quiet, great breakfast, wonderful staff.

This is a great choice for a budget friendly B&B in Lucerne! It was convenient to reach the train station or Lake Lucerne by just a short 15 minute bus ride. Staying at this B&B also provides you with a free public transportation pass to use for the duration of your stay as well, which was well-appreciated. ||The room itself was nothing particularly special, but was good value for the money. We did have to share a bathroom with the other rooms, but we did not really mind as there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! We would love to stay here again.

Isabella and all the staff at The B&B in Lucerne were very welcoming and helpful. It’s a great location in a quiet residential area on a road with very little automobile traffic, mainly just bicycle traffic. The bus stop at Eichof is only a five minute walk and the #1 or #14 bus gets you to the main train station in about ten minutes. You can also walk to a forested area with miles of trails in about ten minutes. ||The garden is a peaceful place to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of touring.||Being an old house, I expected it to be noisy but our room was extremely quiet and we slept soundly each night. We were in the attic room (#11) which was very quiet and spacious. I’m 5’9” and I hit my head a few times going up and down the stairs so it might not be the right room for a very tall person. The shower was great with plenty of hot water.||I would definitely recommend The Bed & Breakfast when visiting Lucerne.

Yelp
This has to be one of the best places I've stayed at in Europe. It's a small quaint place just 15 min walk from old town and 5 mins from new town. The staff is super friendly and eager to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. The rooms and clean and comfortable with beautiful views windows to look out at. They have shared bathrooms but they are always clean and ready to go. They serve a traditional breakfast here with wonderful breads, cheeses, cereals, sliced meats and fruit. Just what you need to start the day off. I would highly recommend this place to any travelers. I'll definitely stay here again the next time we pass through.

Yelp
To say that this is an amazing place to stay would be an understatement! The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were heavenly. On top of all that the breakfast was really really good! I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We found this hotel b&b online. There were 4 of us including a 9 year old. We loved the owners and overall it was an excellent value that included breakfast and only a 15 minute walk to the Old City
