The Bed, KLCC

I booked a private single room but had a very poor experience due to serious noise issues. The room was located right next to the unit entrance and a shared bathroom. Also super small space with a sink that doesn’t work. Throughout the night and early morning, I could clearly hear people coming in and out, talking, showering, water pipes, and doors opening and closing. Around 2 a.m., guests from a shared room were also talking loudly and using a hair dryer, which made it impossible to sleep. This seems to be a structural issue rather than a one-time incident, as the sound insulation within the unit is extremely poor. I later noticed that other reviews mentioned the same problem. Also the washroom is always dirty and wet and also shared by almost 20 ppl in the unit. I understand this is a hostel, but when booking a private room, I still expect a basic level of quiet and rest. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met. Never again. I checked out one night earlier and the staff was not helpful at all.

I’m very impressed with The Bed KLCC Capsule Hotel! It’s a great place to stay—very friendly staff, and the location is perfect. It’s close to everything: just a short walk to the Petronas Towers and Saloma Bridge, and only a quick trip to Batu Caves. There are convenience stores, coffee shops, restaurants, an MRT station, and even an ATM right beside the hotel. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends, and I would love to stay here again. The staff greeted us with great smiles, the food was delicious, the entire hotel had a pleasant fragrance, and the environment was extremely clean. A wonderful experience overall!

A very comfortable stay. The showers are clean with great water pressure. There's a place to iron your clothes, too. The lounge is very comfortable with a ton of books. Very few are thin (Orwell's Why I Write being a lovely exception) to be finished in one day, though. You can get a simple breakfast in the morning. Great for vegetarians, limited options for vegans. Now, to address the "rooms are cold" statement. Yeah, the hotel really took yo heart the advice to sleep in a cool space. Bring a bit thicker pajamas and enjoy the best sleep ever! The rooms are dark and super quiet. Restful experience 100%. If you're thinking about booking a mixed room, think again. The curtains are see-through. Picture a mosquito net? Yeah, that type of see-through. The rest is great.

This is my third time to stay in The Bed and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff serves delicious breakfast and the they are kind and approachable. The hotel is located near Petronas Towers and the location is superb. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

I stayed at The Bed KLCC in Kuala Lumpur for three nights and had a good experience. The location is excellent, right in the busy part of the city next to a 7 Eleven and only about a three minute walk from Bukit Nanas station. Suria KLCC shopping mall and KLCC Park are around 15 minutes away which makes it very convenient. The capsules were clean and comfortable and the shower room on the first floor was nice. They provide free breakfast but it is very basic. The staff were fairly nice and helpful. Overall it is a good place to stay if you want a central location at a reasonable price.

Do NOT book their single pod ‘suite’. It is literally a bed next to a kitchen sink! And it’s a room within a room! Like it’s a former kitchen or storeroom hived off to become a small room. There are mixed bathrooms within the unit which is located on a very quiet level 2. The whole setup is so dodgy that I immediately asked to be ‘downgraded’ to their dorm which is so much spacious and feels safer too at level 1. Why didn’t they remove the sink and put a hanging rack or shelves there? Or make it a bare minimum like Japanese style ryoken with a tatami which will look more cool and spacious. I booked a private room as I checked in at midnight thus did wish to disturb fellow travellers. Big mistake. The advertised photo did not match room. Having just completed few days in Thailand staying in a pleasant dorm at half the price of The Bed, even The Bed facilities while clean is a let down. The common washroom design is weird. The hanging hooks are outside the shower rooms. The owner should travel to Japan or Thailand or other countries to see how common dorm facility should be like. For solo travellers if you are looking for social interaction this is not the place. While they have a sit down corner the whole place is devoid of soul. The Bed is part of a condominium or residential tower and they occupy the first three floors. The condo looks like some dodgy people living there as I arrived at midnight and went to the wrong lobby. The tiny check-in desk is in between the door and the lift. Looks more like a money changer. Don’t be fooled by the Shangrila Hotel opposite. The Bed saving grace is the breakfast that served some local dishes. Though coffee is not brewed but diluted nescafe. Orange ‘juice’ is syrup water. There is water dispenser with hot and cold water. And the location is walking distance to KLCC if that is important to you. For solo travellers do not pay extra for the room within a room storeroom-style ‘suite’. The dorm is spacious with enough privacy, is airy, even has tall window with a view. I checked-out after less than 24hrs even though I booked for 2 nights. Will stick to Bukit Bintang area next time. I hope they will pass the extra $30 paid to the cleaning ladies doing good job. The first photo shows the private ‘suite’. The second photo shows the cheaper dorm.

you have to pay a deposit in cash. I stayed only for one night in the hostel and Malaysia so I didn’t have any cash. I got the opportunity to pay desposit with the creditcard but they never gave the money back and I feel scammed. This hostel is okay on the inside. But the administration is very bad and you can get a fine for lots of things watch out

This is a perfect place for backpackers short or long stay. The hostel is located in a perfect centre of all attractions. Twin tower and KL tower both are walkable. Restaurants and cafes are right below the building. Metro station is accross the road. You don't have to think about it, just go for it. I booked a single pod suite unfortunately there is no proper ventilation in rooms and corridors and its very small even a medium size luggagewon't fit. Otherwise I love the collab area and the cafeteria. They do have huge collections of books to read at the collab area. Bunch of bean bags and study chairs. Love the entire vibe there .
