Inside Hong Kong's Craft Beer Revolution

"Established in 2014, pours a popular Quit Your Job Saison—a fantastic Belgian farmhouse ale with a peppery finish—and the award-winning Hong Kong Bastard IPA, which tastes of sweet melon and bitter licorice."

Pretty nice. They have real ale which was surprising. Service was nice. Order at the bar and not table service like most pubs in HK. The vibes were a bit weird tho, it was about 4pm and it seemed to be filled with local British immigrants who seemed to claim the whole space to themselves with no regards to others. Not the pub’s fault I guess so I wouldn’t knock any stars for that.

Beers are good ($68 and up), service is friendly. Chicken wings are ok, a bit bland. In happy hour, plains wings are $3 each. Flavoured wings are $6 each. Skip the flavoured wings and just add your own sauce from the 8 or so hot sauces available. Don't regret eating the wings but wouldn't eat them again.

Great taproom on Lamma Island for the Yardley Brothers brewery from Hong Kong. Chill vibe and tasty local beers. A must stop when you're on the island.

A great place, small like everything in Lamma Island. Beer was not too great, even it was draft beer. Cool bartender, outside lots of foreign people having their beer pints, everybody speaks English or most.

Beer was excellent. The place has a good atmosphere and good music. But the bartender here was the best. Would recommend to everyone taking the hike in Lamma.

So great that the brews I learned to love in the city are also available on Lamma The staff is helpful and welcoming and the brews are beyond satisfying Today it was the Magic Dragon that delivered beyond expectations Chill vibes with Hendrix, Stones, Nirvana… Go there already!

Delicious glass of beer to escape the heat. I had the Chilli and Basil Sour ($70hkd) and it was zingy and very tasty - a fantastic Sour. Over 8 choices to choose from (IPAS, ciders, lagers etc) and with a friendly interior with book libraries and board games, you could easily loose an hour or two here either solo like myself, or with your hiking pals. Accepts cash and card. Select USA food menu. Quite American/Expat
