Back at the Bell last night. Food quality and service top, as always. Like a previous reviewer I had the gnocchi dish and was disappointed by the size and price (but not taste) of the dish - only 6 or 7 gnocchi for a main at £17 is not impressive. However, instead of leaving a bad review on Google I simply talked to our waitress and told her that I was surprised and disappointed by the size of this dish (all the dishes at the Bell are usually a very generous serving). She apologised and came back a few minutes later, telling me that desserts will be on the house to make up for the disappointment with the main. This is what good service and hospitality looks like!

We celebrated a friend’s birthday and continued the fun well into the afternoon and evening on a beautiful day. Heather was absolutely amazing - she stayed with us the entire time, making sure we were looked after and having a great time. She was constantly clearing our table, checking in, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Huge thanks to Heather and everyone at The Bell for such a fantastic day! We can’t wait to come back soon.

We visited for Sunday Lunch. The food was nice, with good sized portions. Desserts were a highlight, we appreciated the option for a smaller dessert with coffee so we could still enjoy even after a large lunch. Service was pleasant, if a little on the slow side, but in their defence it was very busy!

Talking only as a restaurant goer, was quite disappointed. The service was certainly the lowest point and for the prices charged here it should be far better. We were missing drinks menus, we waited a very time for someone to take our orders, wine glasses weren’t removed despite us not ordering wine, the food of other tables was mistakenly brought to us twice and our server forgot our allergies. The general attitude of the servers (especially the short women in the purple top) was quite poor. When the food finally arrived the quality was excellent, however £17 for 6 pieces of gnocchi as a main course is a joke. The reason this isn’t a 1 star review was the exception quality of the desserts and the good selection of beer. I feel this place is a little confused on what it is. It holds the appearance of a pub yet charges restaurant prices with staff that are trained to barely even pub standards and far from that of a restaurant. Will not be returning again soon as there are far better options in the area.

Stayed for two nights over the Easter weekend. A great busy pub with good food and a fantastic team of friendly and attentive staff. The Room (No3) was beautifully appointed and had a separate entrance (great as we had our dog with us). Great breakfast. Pub is dog friendly in areas which was great. Fantastic location from which to explore Stratford Upon Avon (10min drive) and The Cotswolds (25-30min drive). Look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend.

More of a restaurant than a pub.odt local pubs do not open on a Monday. The service was good and the good was good and freshly,- cooked. It would have been nice to know that the "Caesar salad" had bacon bits in it. Usually it is made for om romaine lettuce Parmesan shavings and croutons. This was made from frisee. The waiter returned it to the kids then and gave us a fresh serving of salad

The Bell was amazing! The food we had for dinner and breakfast was obviously prepared by a well trained chef! The Pub was so much fun and the patio courtyard was very nice! I only wish that we had stayed another night. When my travels find me back in the area we will definitely stay at the Bell again!
