The Bell

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at The Bell Pub Restaurant, and I can honestly say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As someone with a sensitive stomach who rarely eats out, I am very cautious about where I choose to dine but The Bell completely exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, served hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. The freshly prepared chicken wings were particularly outstanding full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care and quality. You could truly taste the difference. What made the evening even more special was the excellent customer service. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, and the warm welcome set a great tone for the entire evening. When I requested a Crystal Punch, I was genuinely pleased with how it was prepared and how welcoming the waiter made us feel throughout our visit. To the manager: you are doing an amazing job, but please take this advice hold on to that chef and treat him with the highest respect and appreciation. His skill and dedication are clearly reflected in the food. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed both the meal and the atmosphere at The Bell Pub Restaurant. We visited for dinner while staying nearby over Valentine’s weekend, two adults and our children (aged 12 and 2). We had a lovely experience. The food was lovely. The service was excellent throughout the evening: attentive, friendly, and especially accommodating with the children, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and relaxed for us as a family. We would highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we’re in the area.

Met friends for Sunday Lunch. Central location, plenty of parking and delicious food. I'm not sure that it was made clear that you only had the table for two hours, which is rather short when you've got four girls having a catch up. However I may have missed this info. in the booking details. Great ambience, would definitely recommend.

We had a one night stay here, but would have happily stayed longer. Excellent room, tasteful and well appointed. Being Boxing Day, we weren’t able to have dinner here, but enjoyed a few drinks in the afternoon. Staff were excellent and the value for money was good.

Plenty of parking, a wonderfully warm and inviting ambiance. A lovely range of dishes and thoughtful alternatives for various dietary needs. Staff are very attentive and hospitable. I bring friends, family and work colleagues here and this place is consistently great in terms of food and service.

The Bell is part of the highly acclaimed Brunning Price chain of pubs and pubs with rooms. I have visited the Bell at Alderminster before and my latest visit was immensely enjoyable. My partner and I stayed on a Tuesday night and occupied a double room. The amenities and ambience were of a high standard and the evening meal we ate was top quality - Christmas turkey with all the trimmings with Christmas Pudding and brandy cream to follow. We preceded our meal with cocktails and the entire customer service experience was faultless. We shall be arranging another visit to stay very soon and have found the Mytton and Mermaid near Attingham Park to be of an equally satisfying hish standard. We have also been to the Oakly Arms (no rooms here) which is north of Wolverhampton and the Brunning and Price service here was highly impressive.

Our server Anne-Marie was delightful. Top marks for attentive up beat service with a smile. Just first class. Our meals were good but an issue on the next table with another member of staff was off putting when a hair was found in a meal. Unfortunately the whole conversation was uncomfortable when the guest was made to feel it was perhaps her hair as the chef didn’t have long hair ! First rule of service don’t blame your customer and let the whole restaurant hear you do it.

Thank you for a super afternoon making a Christmas Wreath. Materials were provided in abundance. Sarah, our teacher, ensured we had fun and mastered the process of making the wreath. We had a wide choice of items to decorate our creation and Carol helped us sort out bows if we wanted them. Thank you also to the Bell Team who provided prosecco and nibbles to fuel our creative efforts.
