10 Most Haunted Hotels in the World

"Sitting on the main square of a small village in Norfolk, this centuries-old inn has a long list of eerie encounters: guests report glimpses of a hooded monk and the former landlady Betty Radcliffe—murdered in the hotel by her lover—who is most often seen in Room 10, sometimes accompanied by a strange whiff of perfume after more than six centuries in business." - Steven Casale Steven Casale Steven Casale is a New York City-based freelance writer and digital strategist. Found myself in the bell inn whilst my boyfriend went to football- this was a nice pub for a weatherspoons! After sitting downstairs in the small bar area it was nice to see the pub upstairs opens out to a big space with lots of tables and chairs- very friendly staff and quick service. You can not get a better location of the city centre! For food I had the steak and ale pudding which was delicious and cheap- £11.23 with a glass of wine- perfect hahaha Very nice to watch the world go by for 2 hours and not break into Your overdraft x

Located in the heart of Norwich city centre, this pub is very popular both at weekends and on weekdays. The front garden is always busy, but there’s plenty of space inside across two floors. We had some classic pub grub: battered shrimp and cured ham – both were delicious. The beers were distinctly British, which is exactly what we came for. The staff were friendly, and the service was efficient. The only downside was the appallingly dirty floor near the entrance, scattered with rubbish – and this was already at six o’clock. One of the girls at the next table was laughing hysterically at everything she or her companions said – and she didn’t tire of it for about two hours. But obviously, that’s not the pub’s fault.

Review of Dinner Experience I had a wonderful evening thanks to my sister treating me to a classic Chicken Korma curry accompanied by fragrant basmati Pilau rice, soft Naan bread, and crispy Poppadoms. The meal was flavorful and comforting, hitting all the right notes. For dessert, we enjoyed a traditional Apple Crumble that was the perfect sweet finish. All this came at a very reasonable price of just around £16, offering great value for a satisfying meal. The pub itself impressed me with a high staff-to-customer ratio, which meant the service was attentive and prompt throughout the evening. An added convenience was the nearby Castle Quarter Car Park, just a short walk away, making parking hassle-free. Overall, a delightful dining experience I would happily repeat! .

This was a grand pub for drinking, with wooden banisters and linings around glass making for a pretty design! Counter is well kept and staff were friendly, lighting has a good number of different lamps too. I had a Corona Extra, sitting comfortable at one of the smaller seats here!

The rougher end of JDW pubs. Nice and central with outside seating and two floors of inside seating although the downstairs is small. Usual beer and not many guest beers available when we visited.

Cheap and cheerful as with all weatherspoons pubs, I had very good service, as I have a gluten allergy, the lady that brought me my food, which had a nann bread on, asked me if I was happy, I questioned if the nann was gluten free, she said she had questioned it herself before bringing it out, the manager had put it through so they presumed it was ok, but she went back and double checked, which resulted in the nann having gluten and a new meal was prepared, this lady prevented me from being ill, so she was excellent.

This was my 450th different Wetherspoons pub and it didn't disappoint. A wonderful historical hotel that's been carefully restored with a good selection of information about the local history on the walls. The usual great value for money guest ales for 1.99 on a Monday.
