The Bellafonte Bonaire

I hesitate to share how wonderful of an experience we had at The Bellafonte at the risk of too many others finding such a wonderful place to stay on Bonaire. It truly was amazing! Accommodations were lovely, clean and comfortable. Staff were very attentive, personable and helped in exploring the island. The house reef was stunning and each day brought new and exciting discoveries. We will be back and cannot wait for our return. As my 10 year old said in his own words, “this place is Supreme”.

Today is our last day after a spectacular week in Bonaire! Our first trip to the island and we are so very glad that we chose the Bellafonte for our stay! The grand suite is beautiful perfect for our family (13 year old twins - the staff separated the kind bed in the second room) the location is perfect and the views are incredible. We love the pier and the twins even saw an octopus and turtles while snorkeling the house reef. The Thursday night happy hour was great - we met lots of lovely other guests from around the world. The staff is incredible- answered my million questions before we came (even helped with the rental car) and during our stay - helped with many dinner reservations! We will absolutely be back to Bonaire and will be staying here again! 5+++ stars for sure! We just loved it here!!

The stay was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Easy entry into the ocean with snorkeling available just off the pier. Convenient to other snorkeling sites, Donkey, Te Amo, and Bachelors are walkable. Quick 10 min to ‘downtown’. Parking on site. Has a dive/snorkel locker for storing gear to keep rooms from getting sandy. Room had a great view of the ocean. Very peaceful mornings on the balcony drinking coffee from the coffee machine. As an FYI, the pool is super small, BUT the calm ocean is about 15 steps (literally) further - so easy. There is a nice restaurant next door.

My family and I stayed in the Grand and Senior Suites at the Bellafonte for a week. Staff were amazing and were very welcoming, they were attentive to all of us during the week. The staff helped book dives, sunset dinner cruise, and a fishing trip for my family. Great snorkeling around the dock and loved the views from our rooms. We would stay here again when we next come back to Bonaire. Shout out to Laure, Stephan, Myrthe, Veerle, Mara, and the rest of the Bellafonte staff for helping make our stay memorable.

You never know if the pictures online are representative of the actual hotel. This hotel is quiet, very clean, perfectly located and surpassed expectations. Dive lockers are available for all of your gear and you can grab full tanks any time you want. Bonaire is such a special place. The entire experience was amazing and we will absolutely be back. And we will stay at the Bellafonte again, no question.

We love the Bellafonte and are regular visitors. It is a great place to stay if you are diving on the island. The location, rooms, and views are fabulous. The relationship with VIP diving is fantastic. We had a couple of snafus this trip but the team was responsive and took care of us.

Nice modern hotel on the beach minutes from the airport. (But no trouble with planes noise). You can snorkel/dive right from their pier. We did. Clean comfortable rooms. Super helpful staff. Unlimited supply of espresso capsules for your in-the-room espresso machine. What else to desire.

10/10 We stayed for two weeks and had such an amazing time. The location was beautiful and the swimming in the area was perfect. The location was quiet and private though also close to many good restaurants and other beaches. The staff were awesome — so friendly and super helpful. They took care of everything and always had a smile on their faces and made sure we were taken care of . We’re already talking about when we can come back. Can’t wait to visit again, thanks to the Bellafonte team !
