I can't be totally sure, but they may have the most comfortable bed in all of Europe. It certainly topped my hotels in London and Paris, and my hotel on my last trip to England.
We stayed in a suite and it was huge. Like, so big that I told my husband if we ever lived in Europe we'd dream of having a flat that big -- because it was just a lot of real estate, especially compared to the average European hotel room. I think it may have made him cry a little inside because our home in California is a four-bedroom with us as the only inhabitants. But I digress.
The furniture was also comfortable, power sources were ample, wifi free (after sign up), and the shower was great. If I had known then that my hotel in Paris had a shower head that would contort itself toward the shower wall, making my shower extra unpleasant, well, I'd have stayed in the shower at the Belmont longer.
We had breakfast in the dining room and it was quite nice. I stuck with the cold stuff, but my husband added eggs which he said were fine. (In his words, "Yeah, they were good. A little runny, but whatever." This is why he doesn't Yelp.)
The location was great - very close to the train, and right on the New Walk, which was convenient to me, because I was spending my days at a conference at De Montfort. The whole place was clean and lovely. I would absolutely return.
