The Bend

Had a wonderful stay in the Catskills at The Bend. Our host allowed us to check in early as we arrived in town earlier than expected. Great communication and easy check in process. The rooms were very clean, spacious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The kitchen space was excellent for our purposes, we had many meals there and on the dining table. We relaxed in the living room couches by the cozy fire as well. All in all and excellent stay, would highly recommend and would love to come back.

Beautiful location right on the river and close to many attractions and ski mountains. Great amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the properrty. Everything you could need to rest and reset in nature but with modern conveniences. Our suite was spacious, well adorned and clean—and the bed was so comfortable, which is a delight after a long day skiing. I highly recommend The Bend as an all-season destination to relax with friends or family, or even solo. Great stay!

There are few things as soothing/healing as watching snow fall into the creek from the sauna. The property is lovely, close to some of our favorites, and very thoughtfully appointed. Only two notes: 1. The walls/floors between Loft 4/5 are a little thin. 2. There were an abundance of lady bugs. So cute to us, but maybe not to others!

Everything about our stay at The Bend was great. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are very cozy, and the little kitchenette makes prepping lunches for hikes or chill breakfasts super easy. Loved the sauna as well, easy to use, and as a bonus you get to look out at the river and see cute animals crossing as you're inside relaxing. Perfect way to end a day of walking. The location was also ideal for us since you're so in the middle of the Catskills. Everything was a short drive away, super convenient. The owners are really lovely and up to help you out with anything. They check in regularly to make sure you're all set. I asked one morning if it would be possible to get some extra blankets and 5 minutes later they were at my door in a big bag.

Absolutely loved our stay at the bend! The room was very clean, spacious, quiet and even better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the pool and sauna and the basically private creek for swimming lounging around! The property had everything we needed for grilling and starting a fire. The location is ideal for quick access to hiking in the Catskills and restaurant options. Really hoping to come back soon.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bend NY in Phoenicia! This place is a must if you’re in the area. I visited with friends and my husband, and we were all blown away. The grounds are stunning—peaceful, lush, and perfectly maintained. Inside, every detail of the interior design is thoughtfully curated and effortlessly stylish. It feels both elevated and cozy at the same time. It’s the perfect escape from the city—quiet, relaxing, and surrounded by nature. Whether you’re planning a romantic weekend, a trip with friends, or a small group getaway, Bend NY delivers. The option to buy out the entire property makes it an amazing spot for hosting retreats or celebrating a special occasion. Can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful location with so much to offer! From the tastefully outfitted rooms to the gorgeous property, we had the most relaxing and rejuvenating weekend. There’s a heated pool and sauna which were exactly what we needed after a long day of hiking on nearby trails. Relaxing creekside by a fire was another amazing touch. Highly recommend staying here! I’m already planning my next trip!

The bend is located in a breathtaking natural setting. The location is stunning, and every amenity like the pool, sauna, and self‑service fire pits (wood supplied), just enhances the experience. I was also amazed by the “Zen Triangle” meditation installations which added a unique, tranquil touch to my stay. Even though the process is largely contactless, every staff member I encountered (including one of the owners, Pat) was incredibly kind, warm, and always eager to help. Their genuine hospitality made all the difference. I’ll definitely be back soon!
