Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya guy slid up on The Benjie since their previous establishment was so popular....
The verdict?
This spot executes a global cuisine style menu fairly well w/emphasis on european dishes.
The ambiance is clean and sophisticated giving off upscale vibes.
The food is well prepared and balanced with a diverse enough menu. All the dishes I have tried have slapped hard.
Desserts are a friggin hit here too w/a 2× crazies award winner at the helm.
Absolutely a destination if ya looking to glow up a night out or impress a crowd a lot.
In rotation from here on out.

The Benjamin is a very nice restaurant with delicious food. Service was kind and the atmosphere was very friendly. Definitely recommend the Little Gem Caesar, Fettuccine, Spinach dip (🤤) and Bread Service.

Visited here Saturday night before a show at the Ridgefield Playhouse, it was a fabulous experience! The atmosphere was great. The food was spectacular and most of all, the staff was outstanding! Clearly the restaurant manager, Pete has done a fabulous job creating a great culture for the staff, they are all attentive and helpful and outgoing! Ari takes the cake for the most outgoing of them all!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Excellent food and immaculate service! If you’re looking for a spectacular, top tier dining experience in Ridgefield, The Benjamin is the place to go. From drinks, apps to entrees everything was fantastic! I had the scallops and they are a must try! Between our whole group, we tried most of the menu and everything was delectable. An incredible addition to the Ridgefield restaurant circuit but The Benjamin definitely takes the cake!

Absolutely delicious food.
Excellent value.
I didn't take photos because a friend took us out to dinner, but the watercress salad was absolutely delicious, the fresh pea soup was delicious, the scallop dinner we're absolutely incredible. My husband said that the chicken dinner was delicious. Creme brulee desert was delicious.
Service was spectacular, Thank you Miles!
Ambience was gorgeous.

Amazing food! The appetizers and main dishes were delicious, but the deserts were outstanding! Everything we tried was so delicious, I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because it was devoured to quickly. Must fo back for seconds now :)
The service was excellent. I went in without reservation and was seated at a great table with a few of the garden.
The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing.

We visited The Benjamin for lunch on Saturday. The dining room, beautifully decorated for spring, was quiet with only one other table.
We enjoyed the Burrata and Beet Salad, a delightful mix of pickled and roasted beets, hazelnuts, and creamy burrata on a bed of greens. I loved the composition of this spring salad.
While the Wagyu burger was flavorful, the excessive dressing on the bottom bun made it somewhat messy to eat. The bun was also cut very unevely, the bottom bun wet from the dressing and there was just too bread on top. DH thought the fries were very salty but I like salty fries.
Nevertheless, service was efficient, and we're eager to explore more of the menu on our next visit.

4 of us tonight. Porkchop Martini is one of my favorite dishes but this was terrible - MAYBE 2 or 3 slices of cherry peppers and no sauce. One of us ordered the ribeye and when asked how he wanted it served, he said "chef's recommendation please." Apparently that means well done. My wife ordered the NY strip medium rare and received a small filet mignon instead of, which was well done to boot. The waiter comped my wife's steak which was nice. Really, all 4 of us should have returned our meals. The 4th in our party said her steak was under seasoned. FWIW, the onion rings, broccoli rabe and charred octopus were outstanding (though the potatoes served with the octopus were raw). Very disappointing experience.
