This pub is awesome and very affordable. Nice place and plenty of tables. I liked that the food here is affordable and good portions. Crisps and nachos are also reasonably priced. Liked the ambience and for 17 euro octoberfest ticket got 1 large beer + a pretzel. This place is big and also value for money.

Came here to watch the 2025 F1 finale. The Bernard Shaw has an incredible atmosphere and lovely staff! Had a lovely pint of Guinness with juicy hamburger!

So much potential here but just really poorly managed. A quiet afternoon and plenty of staff on but long waits and incorrect food orders coming out. Staff didnt know how to split a bill so asked us to settle up while eating. Honestly so much confusion on the bill it was painful… Think they’re trying to do too much and most of the issues would be sorted just by not doing table service and just letting people order at bar, simple and efficient. Would have probs had a much better time if we had ordered at the bar… Food was bland and felt cheap but I guess this is the standard you’d expect in this kinda venue. Staff were not rude at all and really trying hard (maybe too much?) just seemed to overcomplicate the experience though. Again, taking pressure of table service would help this. Great venue with so much potential to be something fun and vibrant just get the quality of food a bit better and let people order at the bar and pay in advance so it’s more efficient for everyone. I even tried to order more drinks after eating but they got forgotten or took too long as we had to cancel. The place was really quiet so just felt sloppy. Strip it back to something more simple and they the basics right maybe? Thanks for being friendly though :)

We had my brother's 40th here. The food was freezing when it came out, there was a hidden service charge in the venue offering and it was way to expensive to hire considering it wasn't a private space but one that overlooked the balcony. We dealt with a different staff member each time, they never replied to phone messages or emails. If you have an event please don't go here. We had to book last minute as another venue had let us down. Wish I had researched and asked for more opinions beforehand. The staff treated us like we were an inconvenience, and we ended up providing entertainment for the venue. Avoid. I'd like to say this was a once off but I was talking to a colleague who had been at a Christmas party there and echoed the same problem. Poor service, cold overpriced food and inattentive staff.

Have been in couple of times. Food is average, not the best but not too bad. However, what made the difference was the waitress, Erin. She was attentive, friendly, efficient. Thank you Erin!

Went for the Disney quiz. Really enjoyed the host! Astrid was great great fun very entertaining and interactive with the crowed. Great food and selection of drinks that even put in a special Disney cocktail fur the quiz which was lovely touch 👌👌

Went to the drag brunch to celebrate my birthday here with friends and had a blast! The queens are brilliant and the show was so much fun! The food and drinks were nice and the vibe was great in the bar. A shout out to all the staff there, very warm and attentive. Would definitely recommend it!
