The Berry Hotel

I got a voucher $35 for 2 meals from my accommodation the Berry view motel. When I arrived there was sold out significant amounts of meals: no kids chicken nuggets, no kids fish and chips, no ice cream, no steak sandwich and more. It was Tuesday 1pm. I have ordered burger on gluten free bun $25 + $2 and grilled chicken with chips for a child. I saw kids meal with juice and ice cream $16. I pay with the voucher $35 When collecting the meal, I asked for the kids drink (ice cream was sold out already) I was told that my kids meal doesn’t come with drink and I can go to buy drink to the bar. I was confused as it was written on the menu. A Young girl giving me my order was not willing to discuss then I went to the lady I made order with. She told me I didn’t pay for the drink. How come I had a voucher. “Dear, I don’t have the ice cream. It’s sold out.” I told her I would like to have the drink. She told me I didn’t pay for it. Finally I figured out there are 2 options: kids meal $13 and kids meal with drink and ice cream $16. Those options are not on the same spot on the menu and I missed it. Although in both versions my payment would be $35 for 2 meals she didn’t bother to offer me the drink option and she didn’t give it to me. She was just bored with my request. I took my take away food and found this, see picture. Even a chef was against me. Sum up: when I come to Berry, I will not go there.

Ran out of Guinness and the first 3 items we wanted off the food menu were all sold out. However what we did end up ordering was delicious and the atmosphere of the Berry Hotel is excellent. Service was friendly and helpful. The manager on the day was doing everything she could to ensure all patrons had an enjoyable experience.

Great food and quick Service. It was packed with people which is always a good sign. Good portions and the chips were awesome. Will be going here again when we come back down from Brisbane.

My wife and I shared our anniversary diner at the Berry Pub. I ordered the steak and she had the Barramundi. Both meals were excellent! Well done, Thanks Greg

Nice country pub with friendly staff and quick service. Classic pub food, plenty of space and big screens for the games. Outdoor playground is a bit old but still safe and fun for the kids.

While riding through the winding roads down south, I came across a true hidden treasure — Berry Pub. After miles on the bike, this cozy little spot felt like an oasis. The staff welcomed me like an old friend, and the cold pint in my hand felt like pure reward for the journey. 🍺🏍️ Cheers

Only really went for food, and was not disappointed! Also, they serve Guiness, so it is 5 stars from me. Was with a large group, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We had dinner here and watched the footy. The salads were delicious - my fav was the lamb! Nachos and pasta were average. Cocktails were great - enjoyed the espresso martini. We went there on Friday night. It had a good atmosphere and karaoke was fun.
