Love this place! I've been coming here for many years and always enjoy the beautiful café decor, the friendly owner, and the welcoming staff. I just wanted to share a recent experience that showed how thoughtful and hospitable the owner is. I have halal dietary requirements, and when I asked about the food on the day we visited, the owner went out of her way to contact the suppliers and the makers of the scones and cream to check if they met halal standards. Thanks to her effort, we were able to enjoy the scones, cream, and jam with complete peace of mind — just as we had hoped to. Truly grateful for the kindness and care shown! 😊

A lovely tea house in Berry with a fantastic selection of teas and a charming atmosphere. I tried the Earl Grey tea, which was fragrant and smooth, and a freshly baked scone with rich strawberry jam and cream—both were delicious! The shop is beautifully decorated, but seating is limited, so it can get busy. A great place to relax with a quality cup of tea if you can find a table! 4.5/5

An absolutely gorgeous tea house in the centre of Berry. Lots of lovely things to look at. Sat down to enjoy a heavenly Masala Chai together with a scone with jam and cream. The scone was huge, served warmed and was delicious! Recommend calling ahead to book a table as it gets very busy.

Very cute nice shop, lovely staff and decor. They have a large tea selection and they their own teas as well. Also they have nice and interesting tea related stuff like cups, teapots, jam, honey etc. They have the cutest teapots that is shaped like animals, Disney themes etc. They also serve cakes, scorns and teas. Although they have limited seating area so it’s better if you do bookings in advance for getting a table. Unless you go there during a quiet time, which I did. l had scones and tea here. Also I bought some teas like the Berry blend, Christmas, l am women and Lovely liquorice. Weekends tends to be busier than weekdays. It’s also busy if it’s public holidays and school holidays. Overall it’s a great place to visit if you’re interested in tea and going past Berry.

Stopped with some friends for tea and cakes, and had the best time. The food and drink was fantastic, and the servers were so friendly and accommodating. Amazing range of teas, scones, and they even have vegan cakes. Will definitely come back!

Perfect in every way. You walk into the Berry Tea Shop and it exudes warmth and a serious regard to tea drinking. The walls on one side are lined with a myriad of teas, pretty crockery plates are pinned attractively on the walls wherever they can fit - tea brewing vessels of every description are displayed on the other side of the room. The display counter, of what looks like home backed cakes, looked amazing, however I went with the delicious scones. The variety of teas is vast, organic where possible and the staff are efficient and friendly. A perfect tea shop that takes tea drinking seriously.

The Berry Tea Shop is my favourite place to visit in Berry, which is a small town filled with many interesting shops to visit. They have a very wide range of teas to choose from. Multiple varieties of Chinese, Indian and Japanese loose leaf camellia sinensis teas, plus many tea blends, plus herbal teas and herbal blends. They also stock lots of beautiful teaware, tea accessories, gifts, and tea books. There is indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy some of their delicious cakes, scones and teas. Several of the cakes are gluten free, some dairy free also. The Berry Tea Shop is well worth a visit and even to enjoy a cake or scones with a good cuppa if you have time to sit and relax.

Visited this tea house today by accident. I am so glad that I did. Service from the lovely ladies was next level. We purchased a tote bag , a sample tea kit , some digestive tea all to take with us and it was beautifully packed. We also had the best scone with jam and cream in the world. This place is old school! Will definitely visit again when in Berry.

Yelp
It is a charming place with a bright airy feel to it. Half the shop is a cafe where you can just rest and drink tea. The other half is filled with all kinds of tea and tea making accessories. At the back of the room is a large table laid with different kinds of cakes and delectable baked goods. Along another side of the room is where you will find all types of tea pots. It is truly a tea shop. I love how there are notes on each type of tea describing it and how it is meant to be drunk (with milk and sugar, just sugar or just milk or plain). Besides English tea, they also sell/serve Chinese and Japanese tea. We were lucky to get a table despite no reservations (not sure if they take it either) when we walked in around 3+ pm. I had a grand time just checking out the cakes and general merchandise. The tea choices were just mind boggling and in the end I bought tea samplers (small quantity of loose tea leaves in clear packets) for my friend. It was quite a good size to get to test the tea (probably can make several cups of tea). There was also a tea pot by the door which contained the tea of the day so you could also sample it before deciding if you wish to buy it. We had the hummingbird cake and it was the best I had ever tasted. It had a thick layer of cream cheese which was what made it so awesome. The cake was moist and I just wanted to eat it all. We also ordered the scones which were apparently a bestseller. Frankly I was not too impressed by the scones. It was huge and I thought it was more like a tea bun instead. I asked my friend who really loved it and she said the reason to order it was the double cream.and raspberry jam that came with it. Hmmm I would suggest to skip the scone if you are used to the crumbly type like the American biscuits. Go for the cakes instead. They looked so delicious.

Yelp
Tucked away behind the Main Street of Berry is a lovely tea shop worthy of being the town attraction. The shop serves homemade cakes and scones and serves all their tea collection for in store sipping. The shop is not huge, tea selection adorns one wall whilst another is prettied up by various teapots, cups, canisters, and mugs of all kinds. I love that there are clear signs to mark whether each tea is suitable with milk, sugar, iced, and brewing time, makes it super easy to navigate but still not easy to choose from the great selection. If in doubt, grab the sample size and i dare you to walk away without feeling like you've walked in daggy and came out a trendy posh English royal.
