This was totally unexpected and nice. The Orb was created as part of a major expansion of The Betsy Hotel in 2016. The hotel owners purchased the neighboring (and equally historic) Carlton Hotel and needed a way to connect the two properties. While it looks like a sculpture from the outside, it is a fully functional, climate-controlled pedestrian bridge. Guests at The Betsy can walk through the inside of the Orb to get from one wing of the hotel to the other. Really cool!

Cute little spot to take pictures. There is literally no free parking. If u have a chance and a few minutes to spare go check it out. Pretty much it's a ball tucked in between two buildings and a projector.

Intresting art installation in the alley near Ocean drive. It's actually a giant egg that acts as bridge connecting two wings of a hotel and lights up with different colors at night.

Super cool installation! Honestly you need to go see it ✨ I went a few days before Christmas and they had multiple images projecting over it. Visited it again after the holidays and it did not have any projections over it , thinks it’s only seasonal. Either way super cool ! Loved it !
