We had a fabulous meal here. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I loved the lively atmosphere in the bar also. We were lucky to have made a reservation because it was very busy when we arrived . I'm not surprised considering the excellent food and service.

Fantastic, seriously, if you’re looking for a meal of gorgeous food, in a space that is refined in a non pretentious way and comfortable in an elevated way, this is the spot! The interior design is charming and well appointed while keeping a whimsy and nods to the history of it. The F😋😋D! Stop it, everything g we ordered was so good. I had a summer super salad, there was seafood platter, rigatoni, a pork belly sandwich. And 🐟 n chips. The chips that came with the fish were….PROPER🤌. There was a Gluten free crumble for dessert. (What!!!?!!!) - which of course made me very happy as a GF girl! Must miss this gem. We didn’t stay in the hotel, so not sure about the rooms, but gave it 5 stars based on our experience in the restaurant.

Such an inviting place, with wonderful service, and delicious food. They have very good vegan options, and are very cogniscent of customers' needs. When we came in, the only space they had was at a bar, but pretty quickly they managed to get us a booth. The owner (or manager?) was very lovely and fun, cracking jokes here and there. My husband had a burger, which came with fries and a salad, and he liked it. I had the vegan lasagne, which were delicious, and came with sourdough bread and a salad. We both filled up a lot. For a starter they served pesto and sun-dried tomatoes dips with bread, which was divine! We couldn't say no to dessert: vegan vanilla bean ice cream, caramel flan and a biscuit. Again, delicious. The place was busy, but the owner managed to give all customers some of her time. Lovely establishment that I highly recommend!

Google
had a meal Thursday , quite poor, burger average, prawn dish very disappointing, our guest had the fish which was good. She had a creme caramel which was rock solid -85 euro including 2 small beers and a 7 up -- sorry to leave poor review as been there many times over the years and was always great -- suggest having more simple desserts and make sure they are freshly made -- service was good though but chef let it down

🌟 A Memorable Evening at Bianconi Restaurant 🌟 From the moment we arrived, Bianconi impressed with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about ensuring our evening was special. A particular shout-out to Rory, the front-of-house manager, whose professionalism and charm set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. 🍽️ The FoodThe scallops were an absolute standout—perfectly seared and bursting with flavor. As for the salmon from the specials menu? It was a beautifully presented dish, delicately balanced and delicious, showing clear culinary finesse. Service was exceptional throughout the night: timely without being rushed, thoughtful without being intrusive. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes you feel both relaxed and cared for. 🙏 Thank You, Bianconi for making our dinner so memorable. We’ll absolutely be returning—and recommending it to anyone seeking a refined yet friendly dining experience in the area.

Google
Always a fantastic stay. I’ve stayed here more than 10 times over the past few years. The hotel and bar/restaurant is fantastic. The breakfast is great, so is lunch and dinner. The staff are all very friendly too. Would recommend to anyone.

Grand spot to stay over on the road. Rooms are very small and basic but very clean. Breakfast was fine, and the bar food was good. Tempura fish is in heavy batter rather than tempura batter Rooms overlook a busy street and can be noisy

Google
Review is for restaurant only as we did not stay at the hotel. We ordered two meat based dishes which tasted fine and were presented nicely however both meats were over cooked and dry far beyond the point of enjoyment (chicken and pork both with textures resembling over-microwaved leftover dry ribs). We had far greater expectations as our meals were more than double the cost of anything we have had yet on our Ireland trip however this was easily our least enjoyable meal and only negative dining experience thus far. Wait times were long which is understandable due to it being a busy Friday night however the abundance and location were nice.

Yelp
Just had a delicious lunch in this restaurant, so nourishing on a cloudy day , I highly recommend this very warm local restaurant and bar . I chose the soup combo for 10 euros , I also ordered a very fresh side salad and hot peppermint tea , just perfect . Thanks to all the staff for their hospitality to me .

Yelp
We loved this establishment! Everything is top notch. Enjoyed our meals, a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine (or 2), a beer (or two) for the hubby, dessert (DELICIOUS lemon tart) and atmosphere. I honestly think everything on the menu must be delicious. We ate prawns salad (meal portion) and Sea Bass. Our server Andrew was knowledgeable and a true delight. Would recommend as an all time favorite meal. We did visit in September so it was not busy and we were able to walk in. During season a reservation is probably needed.

Yelp
Ate here for his birthday while visiting my beau. Delicious! Service was as good as the food. The restaurant is clean, warm on a rainy night in March, and very inviting.

Yelp
Don't be deceived by the outside , it is lovely inside. The service was superb and the food was very very good. It reminds me of a modern day pub , bright and cheery and full of delightful Irish people. The menu has a great deal of variety and the presentation was more than would be expected from a neighborhood pub. Don't miss it !

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS A MUST! I wish that I could give this place more than 5 stars! Everything was perfect - from the service to the food. We were traveling through the Irish country side and our Air BnB host suggested this place and even made a reservation for us. We arrived a little before closing time of the kitchen and the staff was more than happy to accommodate us and very willing to serve a party of 6. Our server was so friendly and personable. She had us laughing the entire night. It really just made for the overall perfect dining experience. She gave us a full run down of the menu and told us about her favorites - and let me tell you...her recommendations were spot on! Since there were 6 of us - we all ordered something different off the menu so each of us could try it. Trying to make a decision was so hard because it all sounded so good. It was pretty difficult figuring out who had the best dish. For an appetizer, I got the seafood chowder and it was seriously the best chowder I've ever had. I didn't even want to order seafood chowder again on the trip because I was so spoiled by how delicious the one at The Bianconi was. I still am telling people how good it is. There was so much seafood in it and big chunks, too - they definitely do not skimp on the seafood meat in their chowder. It came in a bowl and was an actual serving - so if getting as an appetizer I would suggest sharing with someone. I got the monkfish special. It was buttery and cooked to perfection and so flavorful - and to make it even better it was perfectly topped with a cheese sauce. My fiancé got the half orange glazed ginger duck and oh my it was great! Cooked perfectly and the skin was lightly charred to make it crunchy. The meat was so moist and the orange and ginger glaze made for a great flavor! If you're passing through the Irish country side and want a great place to eat with staff that gives you a warm welcome - I would HIGHLY suggest coming here!

Yelp
I don't know where to start with this place. Everything was perfect! We are traveling through the Irish country side and our air bnb host suggest this place. We arrived right around closing time of the kitchen. The staff was more than happy to accommodate us and still serve us. Our server was so friendly! She gave us the full rundown of the menu and offered us to try her favorites. She was very personable and made the experience magnificent. Our group of 6 ordered a variety off of the menu. It turned into a strong conversation of who had the best dish. We tried everyone's and everything was amazing. So many great options and everything lived up to the hype. For an appetizer I got the seafood chowder. It was the best chowder I have ever had! It was filled with seafood meat and the biggest stone crab claw! I thought it was going to be a cup since it an appetizer but it was a full serving. I would suggest splitting it with other people. My girlfriend got the special of monk fish. It was cooked perfectly and was buttery and perfectly topped with cheese. I got the half orange glazed ginger duck. It was perfectly cooked with the skin lightly charred to make it crunchy. The meat was moist and cooked perfectly. The orange glaze with ginger topped it off with perfect taste. If you are passing through the area and need friendly faces and a place to eat, make sure you stop by!

Yelp
Traveling through from Texas. Great service! Nice new cocktail menu. The Manhattan was very nicely done! I had the duck. It was quite tasty. Takes 20 minutes but worth it. Really enough for two.

Yelp
Consistently high standard food and a great atmosphere in the place. I'm a local and go there occasionally to eat and have a few drinks. The chef Mike is a real talent. Owned by brothers Rick & Ray Sheehy this is a staple of Kerry food. No trip along the Ring of Kerry would be complete without sampling something in this establishment. Soup, famous salads and tasty a la carte menu, you can't go wrong. Something for everyone I assure you.

Yelp
Recommended to us by our B&B... Goat cheese and a seafood/shellfish appetizers were terrific. Main course of fish & chips and my wife's mussel bowl were nearly as good. Service was excellent and prices very fair. We did require a reservation although we were advised otherwise.

Yelp
This is a great place to eat and I recommend it most strongly. Judi and I with our friend, Philip, had taken a cottage in the local mountains (McGillycuddy Reeks) and were looking for somewhere to eat in the evenings. We tried The Bianconi on the first Friday and just kept going back for more! If you live near here (lucky you) then you will know how good this place is. If you don't live in Kerry, then I advise a holiday there - it is very beautiful indeed. The Bianconi is a great place to eat and drink. The quality of the food is of the highest, but the prices are quite moderate. I don't know how they do it but I'm glad they do! Some excellent wines are available too. Run with passion by Ray & Rick Sheehy, nothing seems to faze them. One evening a local farmer, given a superb dish with a delicious, delicate sauce, asked for tomato ketchup! It duly arrived appropriately served in the traditional 'Joe's Caff' plastic tomato. Masterly! This is not just a fine restaurant but also a hotel and bar too. Room prices are as affordable as the food and the rooms are comfortable and well furnished. The food in the bar is as good as you might expect from this fine establishment.

Yelp
From the service to the food...everything was perfect! After a long day and a long drive we spotted this gem. I looked it up to see great reviews and I must say out of a group of multiple minds and likes we all walked away extremely happy. Everything, from their mains to their spread for the bread was divine!!! I would go out of my way for this gem!

Yelp
Top notch service and food in a charming and spotless restaurant. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Ireland over the past few weeks.

Yelp
Don't miss the Bianconi Inn. Delicious specials each day. Gourmet fair at pub prices. Seafood chowder had a light cream with shrimp and a whole crab claw. Ploughman's cheeseboard makes a lovely light light.

Yelp
I have been here for both lunch and dinner. The food is excellent and the coffee is even better. The hospitality is wonderful and all staff are extremely pleasant. Above all it is excellent value. I can strongly recommend the Bianconi brown bread special and the Mushroom soup. It is in a class of it's own.
