I'm so glad I booked the food tour with The Big Foody! The tour was absolutely lovely, and our guide was such a sweetheart. They were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and made sure everyone had a great time. The food was incredible, and I loved trying all the different dishes and drinks. The guide's passion for the local cuisine was infectious, and I appreciated all the insider tips and recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend The Big Foody for a delicious and memorable food tour experience! 5/5 stars.

I enjoyed this 3 hour tour of Auckland's finest/contemporary restaurants. Tour director Jono is knowledgeable, professional and mindful of any dietary or cultural requirements, all that with 16 ppl 😲. The fitness level is probably only a level 2 however there are times when you will need to keep up and of course Auckland being Auckland there was a mountain or two to climb 😅. My stand out was Little Culprit by far, such an innovative approach to seafood and thoughtfulness to dietary challenged ppl. Some would say their standout was Honest Chocolate, stunning, thoughtful, the flavour is intense as there is little sugar or preservatives, however I'm just not a chocolate person 😁

Mark was an absolute delight. A two-decade native of Auckland, Mark is incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s CBD history and hidden gems. The food tour was a blast, offering a fantastic selection of diverse New Zealand cuisine. I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful group of fellow Americans from various states who were also in Auckland. It was an absolute hoot! I highly recommend this experience.

We loved our Big Foody tour! Our guide was informative and friendly, the food was delicious, and it was a great way to see Auckland city and learn about its history. Big Foody were great at accommodating our 9 year old child and dietary requirements. Thanks for an excellent tour!

Paid $170 each roughly although the “snacks”were very tasty and restaurants delivered on there end, I wouldn’t see myself doing this tour again. When completing the booking it had an allergy box which was filled in. We were asked if we like seafood and we respond no. Which was met with well it’s big portion of the tour today.it should’ve been put in the allergy box. (It’s not an allergy) To which we were never offered or given notice to were we are heading like other tours. Tour guide then said yer we don’t let people know we just sort of do it. To the restaurants credit they did change things on the spot. To accommodate. Booking did say 6-8 venues of location newzealand cuisine however only went to 5 and serving was a canapé 1 per person. There was a lot of walking around and tbh felt more like a history tour with snacks not a foodie tour. Got 2 glasses of wine through the tour no craft beverages or award winning cheese as stated in our tour booking. Feel very underwhelming for the price point and would suggest doing more research before booking

We had an amazing tour today. We had just arrived by a cruise ship ( Regent seven seas explorer) and had arranged for a 3 day post tour in Auckland before heading home to the U.S. The tour was of the country side including wine and cheese tastings and a wonderful meal at their property. We had an amazing day. We were a small group of 10 people. When we come back we will definitely get in touch with them.
