Booked a table before going to a concert across the road at The Halls. Wow, what a great start to a great evening (Level 42). The food is simply the best, every dish was exceptional your taste buds ping and we can’t praise the place enough. Lovely clean restaurant and facilities and the staff are brilliant - loved that one of the chef’s came out to discuss the menu and then again to check everything was to our liking. 10/10 thank you 🙏

Great all round, the staff were flexible to adjust some items and prepare items not listed on the menu. The food was great, well prepared and presented and the Changree butterfly prawn was very good. Good efficient service too.

An impromptu dinner with my wife before theatre. A fantastic star to a wonderful evening. As soon as we walked in to the restaurant we felt comfortable and cared for. Top quality everything. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I’ve been coming to Khans since I was just two years old and after all these years, it still is my favourite restaurant! The food has always been exceptional, full of flavour and honestly unmatched anywhere else in Wolverhampton. Every visit reminds me why this place has been a family favourite for so long. If you haven’t been you’re missing out so be sure to try it!

If you are in Wolverhampton this is the place to eat. the food and service are always to the highest quality. Mo and Recky Khan ensure you will have a great visit. The best Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant for miles !

What a restaurant! If your in the area and appreciate amazing food look no further! We Started with Fresh poppadoms with very tasty Dips and onion salad whilst pondering over a lovely menu which is a Set 2 courses priced at £35 including rice or Naan. For Starters we chose, Vegtable Pakora, Paneer Tikka and Masala Fish, perfectly presented with amazing flavours. Then for mains the Chef asked me if I’d fancy trying something slightly different from the menu as he had been slow cooking some lamb shanks in spices for a few hours. How could I resist? And what great decision it was ! My son went for the ‘Bilash Super’ , My wife chose Aloo Gobi Masala and we shared Saffron rice and delicious Garlic naans. The food was mind blowing! All washed down with a few Cobras and a bottle of wine we Finished off with a very refreshing Cheesecake accompanied with fresh fruit and mango sauce. Just Perfect ! Overall the whole experience was amazing and we can’t wait to return. Thanks to Mo and the Bilash team, see you soon!

Based on this place boasting of its Michelin standard food, AVOID. I don't think this place is even called the Bilash anymore it's just revelling off an old reputation of a Michelin starred restaurant. Service pleasant but poor. Was not given a choice of menus when we arrived,we were just handed the special offer menu. Poppadom's arrived with an onion salad that didn't seem freshly prepared (same sitting or day I would class as fresh) alond side a quad of dips again, not fresh. Starters same issue salads and food not fresh. Lettuce was wilting slightly. It tasted ok for a standard restaurant. Following Starters, the wife's knife was dirty from using it. But the waiter left on the table to be used on the main course... Didn't get fresh napkins (paper) either. Main course again, definitely not freshly prepared or cooked on that sitting. With all the faults, the food was decent but not worth a Michelin star or the money paid. I actually feel conned. The receipt had 'The khans' on it, which leads me to the initial statement I don't believe it's 'The Bilash' of old.

My favourite Asian restaurant, the food is simply the best. Yes it’s not cheap but you pay for quality food that is cooked fresh to order and this place has two Michelin Rosettes… If you’re expecting a saucy curry and want chips with it stick to your Desi pub. If you want to expand your tastes and try something unique check this place out…

AFUL SERVICE and RUDE STAFF! Booked a table as owner said he could cook oil free if we booked in advance. I advised them we needed 3 oil free meals. We had family make the trip across country and we called to confirm, but Bilash then told us they could not do what they had said, and refused to let me speak with the owner. So, meal cancelled for the birthday boy who'd travelled 3 hours for this treat. Disgusting service. Rude front of house also. The way he wouldn't let us speak to owner made me think it was his error in not informing the owner/ chef and the owner would have actually obliged willingly. We were planning many more meals there, but have already changed next week's celebration and a friend group meal to elsewhere.

Let me give an objective, step by step description of how i came up with this rating. Stage one. Entry. Four stars. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated and located very close to Molineux where i was going to watch a Premier League match later that afternoon. I had a good feeling at this point. Stage two. Menu, Three stars. Everything was expensive. I had expected a restaurant in Wolverhampton to be cheaper than similar places in London, but it didn't seem to be so. Didn't look as if this place was any value for money. The food needed to be really good to justify this price. Stage three.Food. Two stars. The dishes ranged from ordinary to outright bad. You can't cook the chicken of a chicken biriyani separately from the rice and then airdrop the pieces on the plate. Besides, most of the dishes were too spicy to be enjoyable. Stage four. Back home. One star. All three of us spent a big chunk of the next 24 hours in the bathroom. The food did really have an impact, on my stomach if not on my heart.

This is a very good place to eat and the one curry house where you may see local celebrities on a night out. Good food, good service, the prices reflect that of course but unlike other places its the kind of curry house for a more special occasion.

Loved the food! I don't even remember what all I got but it was all delicious. Everything from vegetables, to chicken, to lamb. Basically, I went with a coworker during a work trip so we just got a bunch of different plates, shared everything and enjoyed every bite. Near the end of the night, the chef even came out and talked to all the tables one by one. It was a great touch and he was very willing to talk about how he makes his dishes. It was an excellent extra to a great meal. As others have said, it is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Every plate is made to order by a small staff with awesome ingredients. And it repeatedly makes it into the Michelin guide, hard to go wrong.

Décor Good - 3 stars Food - Ok.2 stars- I ordered the Hyderabadi Chicken biryani and it was nowhere close to one. It depends on what you order.

Great food, good service, although the waiters do seem to want to fill up your glass every two minutes which can become irritating after a while. We (a family of four) had a great starter and even better mains - a particular highlight being the Hyderabadi chicken. However we were a little surprised to find the dishes swimming in grease by the end which was a little offputting as we have eaten there many times before and not experienced this. High in price (a bottle of Chateauxneuf du Pape = over £25), we were a little disappointed. However - good all round, even if you want to fork out.

If you like Banglasdeshi food this place is great. They do a fixed lunch menu for about a tenner which is really nice and good value

This is not the place to go for a take away. I have eaten here many times and always had good food and good service. I telephoned and ordered a take away and was told it would take 30 to 35 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and was told that I would have to wait a few more minutes. That is not unusual. They gave me a beer while I waited. Then they wanted to give me another beer. I was driving so I declined. All I wanted wa my meal. What became apparent is that the chef and the manager were not talking to each other. I suspect that the chef did not want to cook take aways. I do not know why, I was paying £46 for two meal and a few sides. When every one else in the restaurant was served, I was given my take away. This was 45 minutes after I arrived and 80 minutes after I placed the order. The manager was apologetic, but that did not give me my evening back. To cap it all, there was nowhere for me to sit throughout my 45 minute wait. The chef has won his battle with the manager. I will not be going back for a take away.
