The Birdhouse El Nido

Great view but unfortunately the sunset disappears behind a mountain so you don't see the sun itself. You get to climb up for maybe 100 steps made of bamboo to get to this vantage point. The food is good but not much to choose from. If you want dinner during sunset you have too book a table, let the hotel help you. Definitely worth it and a bit adventurous.

The view was very spectacular plus the food was delicious, we hope you could further expand your menu it would be very great! The sunset view was so breathtaking we had to order wine to pair with it! Perfect pair! It was worth the climb up the bamboo stairs (however I have to recommend some safety precautions there as some steps were a bit slippery and some were inclined downwards). We hope when we return we could stay in one of your glamping tents! We actually came across your glamping tents when we were planning this trip but we weren't sure that there are private CR available as they were not indicated in the site. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend and would definitely come back!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

We loved the birdhouse. The staff were all very friendly, smiley, and helpful. The food was great! And the design and decoration of the hotel was beautiful. The tents were set up so nicely and it was nice to have some big bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We also loved the bamboo tooth brushes and the powder tooth paste. Most places in El Nido are eco-friendly and try not to use plastic and encourage refilling your own drink bottle with water, which is great. The view was amazing and it was so peaceful. It is a bit of a walk up stairs to get to the hotel but we'll worth it. Just make sure the hotel know you're coming so they can come meet you to carry your bags because it is quite a walk from the McDonald's, through the beach to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location too. We would recommend stronger wifi for those needing to do work. Also warm showers would be nice too, but the cold is refreshing and helps save water because no one wants to stay in a cold shower for long hehe

Beautiful ambiance. Gorgeous view but located at the side of the mountain and has 120 bamboo steps so not accessible to everyone. Running water was erratic. Good staff service. Walking distance to a beach with gorgeous sunset view. Restaurant has vegan options.

Went and had dinner here. Food was good. Experience was good. It did feel like an Instagram hot spot though with people interested in getting that perfect photo in the hammock in the dining area. Facility is beautiful and fancier than majority in El Nido. *Stars edited for great admiration of the restaurant and what their vision is all about. Glad we could see the place

Spent one night in a nest and loved it! Stunning views, comfortable beds, beautiful decor. The food at the restaurant is delicious and beautiful. You can tell the under is an interior decorator because this place is out together perfectly. It is impossible not to take pictures here. The staff are so friendly and sincere. The best part is the deck where sunset yoga is. The view is incredible and I've never been to a prettier place.

Amazing. This is a truly epic place to stay is visiting this amazing country. We could only get in for 1 night but we wished we could have done longer. We did the Yoga at sunset and it was great. We had the most amazing tent and the view was incredible. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast were both excellent. We will be back.

My wife and I stayed at the Birdhouse for 3 nights. Mark and Camille, the owners, were awesome and friendly. The meals we ate here were all terrific and you can't beat the views! We stayed in Nest 1 (the top one) and had a couple of geckos that hung out outside the bathroom that greeted us every night (they were cool, not bothersome)! The tents were very clean and in good shape. The bed was very comfortable. The showers were a little chilly, but comfortable after a day on the beach. The hike down the beach and up the stairs is a bit strenuous so it isn't for everyone but the have staff that help with your bags. What a great way to start our trip. Can't wait to come back some day!
