Arrived in Bayonne at 21.00 hrs after an 11 hr drive from England. We had wine, Guinness, pate with bread and cornichons, pork belly bites and fries. Friendly Mexican barman who spoke French,,Spanish and English. Perfect for us weary travellers and our dog. Bayonne is a regular half way point for us when driving to our home in Spain, but our first visit to the Black Pig. We will be popping in again on our return journey.

Asked the price of a Guinness a pint and quoted pint Guinness 8.80 and half Kilkenny at 4.00. Found later lady at the bar charged 26 euros! Put the change from a 50 euro note in my pocket without checking! 100 💯 sure ripped off. Beware this place! The only thing wrong with Bayonne
