We attended the workshop on Friday 11 July with current artists Nicki and Doyle. It’s was brilliant, supportive and great demonstration! The girls, 6 & 11 loved the experience and walked away with some great artwork. They also loved exploring the artists in residence work. Thanks :)

Had a great glow-in-the-dark paint lab experience with my niece today. Doyle brought great energy and enthusiasm to sharing techniques and ideas and helped to create a wonderfully fun and delightful experience. We both had enjoyed it immensely and it was so freeing to be in a space where experimentation and finding joy in the moment was so encouraged.

My daughter and I attended a paint lab session with canvas’ and protective gear provided for a messy, engaging and creative experience! It was sooo much fun. The communication was great, the demonstrations were informative, and the guidance throughout was very helpful. We all had creative freedom to splat, spray, paint and create textures which is every kids dream! I had a great time, and loved watching my daughter in her element. Thanks for the great experience!

Yesterday did the freehand workshop. Amazing experience. Matt took us through the steps to create a work of street art and we did (with a little bit of help!!) . If going to do it my main suggestion is come with some idea of what you want to create and unless very talented start with a basic form. We ended up googling cartoon characters for inspiration! Sketch, draft, colour in, outline… voila street art to take home! A must do.😊😊

Where to even begin on how much of an amazing experience the splash paint workshop was for my daughter and myself. Bridie, our artist was incredibly kind, talented and had a positive vibe that makes you feel instantly relaxed and feeling happy; Started off showing us some techniques and what tools/equipment we can use and the effects on the canvas. The options of colours, textures and materials was more than enough to create anything you desire in the moment, with a lovely A3 canvas to take home (or get delivered if you aren't in town through the following month). With music blasting, we got really into it, letting the inner child and happiness come out! There was no pressure to have to finish fast, and no limit to the paint. The room was beautifully chaotic with paint on all walls, so no pressure to stay clean with the assistance of smocks and the paint came out easily from clothing in the wash if you get immersed into the feelings of expression as we did. Afterwards, you can look at all the other artists areas of the building and different styles of art, which are all so unique which was refreshing to see, and a great way to unwind after the fun of doing your own art. There's nothing else on my mind from our Melbourne trip than this workshop, which has me wanting to return for another in the future! Very fairly priced, and such a happy place deserves the recognition of a beautiful workshop to let your creativity shine! Walkway access was good, toilets on-site, accessibility was okay, however there are stairs if this needs to be taken into your booking consideration. Thank you team for creating such a safe space to express ourselves, this was a great experience that will be cherished!

This was such a great beginner class! Awesome value and really helpful for getting started with a spray can, would definitely be keen to go back for more classes.
