Great little B&B in Woodstock. Great location only 10 min walk to blenheim, lots of places to eat around area. Rooms were lovely, bathroom small but usable. Breakfast was good each morning with lots to choose from.

Rooms not reviewed as did not stay here. Service and food were superb, really good value for money. Staff extremely friendly. Really good coffee!

Lunch: we didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t comment on that. However the lunch was lovely. Fish fingers, chips and peas for the little fella Tuna melt and chips for the lady Salami and mozzarella on focaccia for me. And chips. The chips are delicious. Really really good! Whole meal was tip top, their focaccia is light and thin, almost like a Turkish flat bread, was superb. Service was spot on. Nice people. Will definitely return.

We stayed five nights. It was everything I had hoped for. A beautifully restored 17th century building, clean and comfortable with a modern bath and great shower. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The coffee was wonderful, breakfasts were generous, and beds were so comfortable. I’ll never forget my stay here!

A shame this will be my second and last visit. Our food order seemed to be misplaced...tables seated after us were all receiving their food. When our food finally arrived very late, there was no apology given and the order was not correct. Upon paying, there again was an opportunity missed to apologise, and the bill not offered to us to check we had been charged correctly...despite the food mix up. A real shame, as our first experience of The Buttery was very positive.

I stayed at the Blehium Buttery just before Christmas with my boyfriend, and unfortunately, it was a highly disappointing experience. While the location may seem appealing and the price of £80 a night appears reasonable, the state of the room and the overall cleanliness were far below acceptable standards. ||The bathroom was filthy, with pubic hairs and other hairs all over the floor (photos attached), clumps of dust and dirt in the corners, and an VERY unpleasant smell. The kettle had scummy water left in it, and the bedroom was equally dusty and unclean. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained before our stay. ||When we raised these issues, the response from management was dismissive. Rather than addressing the problems, the manager insisted that the price reflected what they offer. However, the condition of the room we stayed in did not align with basic hygiene standards, let alone a comfortable guesthouse experience. ||I strongly advise potential guests to think twice before booking here. Based on our experience, the reviews on Booking.com and other platforms seem misleading, and I suspect they may be sponsored or paid for. ||Avoid staying here if you value cleanliness and good service.

We got in for a coffee ( no food) on sunday 11am. After 10 min sat we went to get a menu ourselves because the staff was ignoring us (and there was a lot of staff they were not understaffed). then we had to ask them to order as they would not come to us after 10 more minutes. We finally ordered and after 15 more minutes waiting for a simple coffee and no coffee in sight we informed the staff we had to go now and we "cancelled our order" because of the service. we just left. What a waste of time. The staff just said " oh ok"

Yelp
The Blenheim Buttery is a sweet little place located in Woodstock. We were driving through on a tour and had a lovely meal here. The area is very nice and if you're interested in something to eat this cafe will fill you with warm tea, soups, and sandwiches. Yay!
