Hi, my family and I visited your establishment last night after the parade (1/30/26). We walked in and immediately saw open seating (which is hard to find after such an event). Cold and very hungry we were super excited to try the menu! We'd had your bar/restaurant on our list for some time, so very exciting to try it out! We were instructed to seat our selves and decided on a booth in the farthest corner. The waitress came over with a towel and cleaning spray and asked us to get up so she could clean the table (I hadn't even realized the table wasn't cleared). After an awkward interaction with the waitress, who never introduced herself...I was hoping it was a one off experience but I fear I was wrong. As a customer, I felt as if I was inconvinencing her just by being there. I'm big on vibes and hers were...honestly just crappy. After the cleaning experience, she came for drink orders, a party of three. She only took 2 drink orders and attempted to walk away without even taking our son's drink order. We had to stop her and place his order. Again I just felt like myself and my family were not welcomed by her. After she brought the drinks to our table (holding them by the rim of the glass...ick, that's where my lips go...not your fingers) my fiancé asked for straws. Apparently that was the final straw (for her and us), as she returned with the 3 straws, she literally tossed the straws on the table. Not necessary...so myself and my family walked out. While I was so looking forward to experiencing this atmosphere, it's clear that we weren't welcomed by your staff for whatever reason. Was it because we seated ourselves at the "wrong table"? Was it because we're a same sex couple? Was she simply having a hard day? Regardless of the reasoning, it was disheartening to be made feel unwanted in your establishment. We encountered three different employees, one being our waitress who all watched us get up and walk out without speaking a word to us.
While this was a disappointing experience for us, I'm not sending this as a complaint but more as a learning opportunity...an opportunity to do better with your future customers. -Jodi
