Google
Casual vibe bar and restaurant with some great drinks and food. Overlooking the bridge in Bay St. Louis with ample seating indoors and outside. Sometimes has a band and sometimes the atmosphere can get loud but you can always hear enough to talk. Has excellent seafood often served as tacos- mahi mahi and shrimp tacos- as well as great crawfish. Drinks are generous and delicious. We both especially enjoyed the Mojitos. Service is great even when crowded but the food is a bit pricey for the atmosphere- but good food nonetheless. Parking is on street and can be a challenge as Tiger Bay is on street packed with other restaurants and bars and during busy times you may have a bit of a walk.

Google
What a great little restaurant! Our server, Shane was great. Very professional and very personable. Highly recommend the Mahi Mahi tacos!!

Leo M.

Google
Phenomenal restaurant placed right in front of a beautiful bridge with games, very nice staff, and some of the best food I've tasted in the area. I got the marina shrimp tacos (I think that's what it was called) with loaded fries. Perfect fries with nice toppings and the tacos were cooked to perfection with an amazing sauce. One of the best places to eat in the area and also a great place to relax and grab a bite. Also there was some cool music being played by a musician and they were nice and accepted song requests. Will come again🤩

Janice K.

Google
Went for New Year's Eve dinner. I ordered the Loaded Cheese Fries. They are excellent! The meat of the burger had an excellent flavor. The staff was friendly and pleasant. The bartender made the best lemondrop martini. I will definitely return.

Google
Great food awesome location. The shrimp tacos were excellent. The smoked tuna as well.

Google
5 stars across the board. We easily got a seat at the outside bar, but that was lucky as the restaurant was packed. We had the rum punch, Pina colada and draft beers. The Royal Reds were amazing, smoked fish was great and surprisingly so were the wings. A must stop in the Gulf coast.

Cortney K.

Google
The food here is incredible. We got the Mahi tacos (which had a huge serving of mahi) and the pound of ruby reds. Both were amazing but the ruby reds, with corn, sausage and potatoes truly stole the show. The flavor was hands down perfectly balanced. If we were local, I could live on that dish. The staff was amazing and the other patrons were equally enjoyable to dine around. And dog friendly is always a plus for us ♥️

Google
The Royal reds and bar drinks were amazing! 10 outta 10 recommend. Update - we visited twice more while vacationing in Waveland and The Blind Tiger did not disappoint! We had a blast enjoying the tropical tea drinks, the royal reds, the smoked tuna dip, and the charbroiled oysters... It was ALL spectacular! This is one of our favorite places to visit while in Bay St. Louis, highly recommend!

Yelp
Mahi Mahi tacos! Cheeseburger and fries! Bushwhackers! Always busy, but good service nonetheless. A staple of my 2nd Saturday outings!

Yelp
Wanted a chill weekend so stopped by The Blind Tiger and was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were well-balanced, not watered down or overly sweet, just right. The food was tasty and priced fairly for what you get. They had live music playing in the afternoon, which added a nice vibe. They have a walk-up bar, and the wait wasn't long at all. Service was fine, laid-back and a little casual, but still attentive when needed. The only downside was the bathroom, which could use some attention. Overall though, it's a great spot to hang out, grab a good drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Had a great time celebrating my daughter's birthday! Food was amazing as usual! Our waitress Caroline was the best, so sweet & kind! Definitely our favorite spot to go!

Yelp
Loved the vibe in here, the restaurant was just dirty and service was slow. I love how this restaurant is very open, and that you can feel the breeze. The location is perfect because it is right in the downtown area. It is a sport bar too. They didn't menus, which I didn't like. Everything was written down in a chalk board that was up at the front of where we sat. The waitress wasn't that nice either about telling us about this. Our table was also dirty, but that's expected at an open restaurant next to the water. I got the burger and it was good! It didn't come with fries, so that was its own order. Love the location and vibe, they just need to work on their menu and cleanliness.
google avatar

Liz W.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday because I heard really great things. Sat outside - there are umbrellas at each table but the sun moves so half of the table was sweltering hot. Luckily some people moved and we grabbed their table in the shade. The spicy ranch water is delicious- too good!! The wings were good - interesting sweet chili sauce - similar to Thai sweet and sour sauce in a way. The blackened fish tacos were dry, the sauce was good - just needed more of it on the fish. The loaded fries were good - very salt though. I don't mind bc I like salt when I drink, but it was a lot.

Yelp
The food was good but they ran out of my favorite crawfish. I came from out of town and was immediately taken away by the location and the harbor beach and the nearby boats. The service was good. I was only sad because I didn't try the crawfish. Nevertheless the drinks were good and the company was great.

Yelp
Food was Delicious! Service was Great! Good time with friends! Great view too! Lots of shops to walk to.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! Our whole family loves this place. The food is phenomenal literally every time we show up, this place is on point!! Staff is amazing! Great service!! The beach ambiance is so relaxing and refreshing!!

Michelle S.

Yelp
Beat bushwacker in town! Tastes just like the one from floribama. Servers were nice. Great vibe at this bar. The food is nice and fresh which you don't always get from a dive style beach bar. Really loved it. I'm writing this review on my way back to BSL and I'm looking forward to that first sip feeling
google avatar

Yelp
Great food. On the higher side. Bartenders were ok. Ours seemed more interested in her boyfriend than she was her customers. Will probably be back

Yelp
I spent a day working in Bay St. Louis on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and decided to have lunch in this charming little establishment. The waitress was super nice and very friendly. It was nice that I wasn't pressured and could take my time to make a great decision for lunch. The entire menu (mostly seafood) was written on a blackboard which was affixed to the wall. I sat at the bar near the window which had a really great view of the marina, and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. I am allergic to seafood, so I went with the burger. Kind of seemed like a no-brainer, but there were other non-seafood options. I asked for my burger to be grilled medium rare and added bacon to it. I was a little bummed they didn't have A-1 sauce, as it's kind of become my go-to choice for a burger topping. I chose to forego the fries, as everything is Ala Carte, and is charged separately. Also, I'm trying to limit my carb intake a little bit, so the fries were kind of a non starter at the moment. The burger arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection, though the meat could have been seasoned a little more. It was quite large, as you can see from the picture, and my waitress never let my drink dip below three quarters, so I definitely did not leave thirsty. The Blind Tiger was an exceptionally great dining experience, and I look forward to returning there and trying some other options, served by their professional wait staff.

Yelp
The smoked tuna appetizer was very good and my mahi mahi tacos were delicious. Friendly service.

Yelp
After dining here last weekend, I immediately understood two things: 1) the universal appeal of this place; and 2) why Yelp reviews urge people not to eat here, only drink. We started with Bushwhackers while we waited for a table, since they are known for them. Around $15 each, but a generous size. You have to drink them pretty fast, though, before they turn into a puddle. We were seated upstairs which was what we had hoped for. No AC anywhere but there's a slight breeze and everything is open air. We were seated on the street side, next to the restrooms, which was fun for people watching. Service was great at both the bar and the table. They are very attentive as they are trying to turn tables over quickly. We started with the spicy tuna stuffed avocado, which sounded much better than it looked or tasted. The main problem is that it was served at room temperature, which in a place with no AC was quite warm. There was a little mixed salad with it. Eating warm lettuce and warm tuna dip is beyond unappealing. My husband got the mahi tacos, which he said were okay. He was really hungry so he ate them all. We also ordered a side of fries for $9. I got the chicken sandwich, $14, which was extremely overcooked and was topped with a weird brown glaze that appeared to be the same glaze on the mahi tacos. It was easily the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had. I did not finish it. A side note- this place uses only plastic silverware. Which is already terrible enough for the environment, but then between the appetizer and our mains, they took away our plastic silverware and brought us new plastic silverware. All I could think about was how much plastic waste is happening at that place. I implore you, if anyone ever reads this, to please switch to actual silverware.

Yelp
My sister and I walked into this place and were immediately greeted by the bartender. Very friendly place with a cool beach vibe. My oyster tacos were delicious! Our waitress, Smiley, was precious and certainly lived up to her name. Great atmosphere, great food, great service. If you're ever in Bay St. Louis, go!

Harleigh B.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! Prices are great and you get exactly what you ask for. also live music, so that's a huge plus
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Great spot when the weather is nice, right on the water. Their bartenders are fun and attentive and we appreciated the service. I've tried their tacos a few times now and their shrimp is my go to. This is the happy hour spot to be at in the Bay

Tina S.

Yelp
Great music playing as we enjoyed our dinner and drinks. We had the ruby reds and shrimp po'boy sandwich. Waitress was excellent and helpful.
google avatar

Jessyca O.

Yelp
The best bushwacker we had all trip!! We came back the following day for the mahi mahi tacos and those were nice. We started in New Orleans and then traveled into bay st Lois down into Fl, so we got our fill of bushwackers and this is the best!
google avatar

Traci C.

Yelp
Great location right on the bay. Walking distance to local shops and other things. The food was good and we enjoyed all of it. The smoked tuna dip was awesome! The menu is small though that's the only downside and I think it changes often. Which can be good or bad depending on if you have picky eaters in the group!
google avatar

Kimberly L.

Yelp
My family and I visited the Blind Tiger in BSL earlier today. We had such a delightful experience with Emily in the outside area. She was very attentive, charismatic and made our experience memorable. She was also very knowledgeable on the signature cocktails and offered great recommendations for us. Food was delicious and service was amazing!! I had the Redfish sandwich, and it was seasoned well and tasted fresh... Ask for Emily next time you go, and you will surely have a great time!
google avatar

Paige R.

Yelp
Very good food and good service went there and enjoyed it. Manager came over and wanted to know how everything went, which is nice but unusual in those places, beachy theme walls and windows open to the water which was nice.

Colleen B.

Yelp
My husband and I went yesterday and were shocked with how much of their seafood is imported. He had a chicken sandwich, I got the cantina shrimp tacos (only seafood on the menu that isn't imported) Very disappointing!
google avatar

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
Live in Old Towne so TBT on the marina is close and convenient. Went last Sunday: Friend got Shrimp Tacos: had 6 nickel size shrimp on each. $16 for 2 (small soft tortilla). $$ not an issue if the product is commensurate. It was not. Notified waitress, who showed manager. They were going to 'remake' it. declined- just bring more shrimp. Before she could return, I tried my Sante Fe Chicken Sand. So overcooked/dry it was hard to bite off a piece then could not chew up. I told the waitress and we left. I have had the Sante Fe and the Shrimp Tacos multiple times and both have been good. Very good actually. The inconsistency is just awful. I will not eat food that is not prepared properly nor that is appropriate for the price point. I don't over eat nor look for take homes so large portions are not what I am looking for. I want food seasoned and cooked properly - not overcooked - and for the appropriate price point.

Yelp
This very casual bar/restaurant on the water's edge in Bay St. Louis has really surprisingly good food! I went for the drinks (which are great) but left with memories of the best Fried Redfish Sandwich I think I've ever had. Honestly, it was so good I found time to have it two more times before I left BSL. The staff is friendly and efficient and made our visit a lot of fun, too. Can't wait to go back!

Stella C.

Yelp
Don't come here if you are looking for a large selection of food. There was 6 of us so i understand the added gratuity, but she didn't say that until after i already clicked the tip button. The waitress did not make the pricing clear. We got 6 kid meals and she said that was fine but didn't tell us it was extra since we had some in the group that were not technically kids. There was also a hair in my drink so i had to get a new one. Don't really recommend.

Yelp
Simple menu, great food, great service, beautiful view! Knew we wanted a waterfront view on our drive to Biloxi, and as we drove down Bay St. Louis' Beach Blvd, I was drawn in by all the colors of The Blind Tiger. Plus, we're LSU fans, so we had to choose the option with a Tiger in the name.

Anita S.

Yelp
Fun laid-back atmosphere and simple, but good, menu hits the spot! Sat on balcony over the bay!
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
Looks like a run down beach bar but the Royal Reds are AMAZING. At $23 for a pound, you get a boat of potatoes, corn and royal red shrimp that are large and closer to lobster in taste than typical shrimp. Enough food for 2-3 people. If you want a salad or gluten free anything, this is not the place for you. If you want a large selection to choose from, ths is not the place for you. It does have a chicken sandwich, burger, loaded fries, red fish sandwich and a smoked tuna dip along with a few other appetizer-type food. They also had a 3 pound crawfish special one night when we were there for $18. If you want a bar with picnic tables for seating overlooking the boat docks, menus on chalk boards, decently priced drinks/beer, plastic wear and papertowls for napkins you will love this place! if not, you won't. For kids, there was a kids menu but limited and a giant sand box for the kids to play. Staff was great! Even gave us some recommendations for other places to try during out stay.
google avatar

Danelle B.

Yelp
Great for a beer and fries but was pretty standard fried and spicy options. Note to self...if the napkin sticks to the table...maybe think twice. Mahi Mahi taco was the success of this spot.

Pam B.

Yelp
Fun beach side restaurant! Seating inside and out but if you sit by windows inside (when they are open) if is like outside seating. We had the smoked tuna dip and 1 lb of royal reds. The tuna dip was served with crackers and was delicious! The 1 lb royal reds comes with a quarter of an ear of corn, red potatoes, and a 3 inch piece of sausage. It is boiled in an Old Bay mixture. You do have to peel the shrimp and devein them. However it is so worth it! The shrimp are so fresh and sweet! They provide melted butter for dipping. We also partook in mixed drinks. I had the Tiger Juice which is Bacardi Coconut Rum, DeKuypers Banana Liqueur, OJ, Pineapple juice, and grenadine. It was great! Hubs had a Pain Killer which is Myers Dark Run, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and OJ. Hubs gave it a thumbs up. Overall a great experience!

Yelp
First time here. I ordered the wings and fries. Pretty good will def recommend to others
google avatar

Cam N Liz D.

Yelp
The service was EXCELLENT. The food... not so much. My son ordered the Santa Fe chicken sandwich which was just ok. Nothing special. Hubby got the Cantina shrimp tacos. Way too sweet! They should've been called the candied shrimp tacos. My daughter and I both got the 1 lb Royal Reds... we were so excited for these!!! Until we got them. Sad to say, they were swimming in a sauce that tasted like sea water, it was that salty. We had to peel (which is fine) and clean (not ok. No one wants to clean poop out of their own shrimp) our shrimp, but the potatoes were cooked well and were the saving grace from the salt licks in the bottom of our boats. Way overpriced and my Coastal Mule (their version of a Moscow Mule), tasted like bubble water with a hint of ginger. Disappointing. The Mermaid water was good though! The music playing clashed with the music someone was playing in the back that seemed to come from their phone definitely making it a less than pleasant dinning experience. It's never a great sign when you walk in and see a guest table being used as a utensils prep station. The bathroom was dirty and the door handle to it was greasy and disgusting. Not the best first impression. We definitely won't be back. Only left 1 star because our server (Haley) was amazing! No
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
The Service and view is great. The food was amazing. The drinks were awesome. Love this place. Can't wait to visit to come back. Daniel was our server and was super accommodating and friendly!

sophie b.

Yelp
Food was not worth the price. I didn't eat my meal the chicken was very dry. My friends burger was burnt. Service was slow but staff is friendly.
google avatar

Pat M.

Yelp
We visited in the area five days and enjoyed The Blind Tiger three times. Delighted every time, food was delicious and Brooke, our hostess, took care of us each time. Page had the mahi tacos and I had the royal reds. Delicious boil- type basket with potatoes, corn, sausage and big big royal red gulf shrimp. The sauce, juices actually, was so good we took some back to the camper and used it on grilled fish. Awesome. Many great fresh menu choices and great friendly service. This is a must stop on our annual winter trip south
google avatar

Yelp
Who is good atmosphere is great. It's right on the golf band playing a great place just to hang out would recommend this place.
google avatar

MIlton S.

Yelp
What a fun place! Beautiful Gulf view Great staff Excellent boiled shrimp Oh what fun!
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
10/10- This is my go-to recommendation. They have the atmosphere to appease any party-- (big solo bar, inside dining, outside upper deck w/ bar.) The top deck has the cozy beach vibe you're looking for. The inside bar has rowdy game-day vibes (when necessary.) And inside is perfect for families or anyone wanting to relax. Between my group, we tried almost the entire menu-- the smoked tuna app, brisket nachos, the huge shrimp, mahi-mahi tacos, chicken sandwich, loaded fries, plus drinks. After being stuffed silly, I let my friends keep the leftovers. What a mistake! I went home dreaming about the food. I still crave it. Can't wait to go back!

Peter R.

Yelp
I have visited many times. Super friendly staff and patrons. Food isn't five-star, but that's not why I visit. It's great nonetheless. Great selection of drinks. Two thumbs up
google avatar

Jeanne P.

Yelp
The Blind Tiger was okay, about what I expected. Located on the harbor, the place has a very open air feeling with windows everywhere and some outdoor seating. Being that it was a nice 102 the day I visited BSL, I opted for an indoor experience. There was one seat left at the corner of the bar, so I took it. I was greeted pretty quickly and got a draft beer. Then I ordered the Catalina Shrimp tacos and they came out pretty quickly as well. They were super messy and had a good spice to them. Staff was friendly, and for a waterfront casual bar, it did the job. I can tell it's frequented by locals and tourists alike, so you can strike up a conversation with anyone you want, if you want.

Arianne W.

Yelp
I went on Monday night with my parents and my 8 year old. We had been looking forward to exploring Bay St. Louis and excited to try the Blind Tiger. We've never been, so we didn't to know where to go and were feeling a little lost. The hostess was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed that we were there, maybe because we were not the young crowd that was mostly there. She was dismissive to my father when he asked if we could sit upstairs. No one came to the table, despite my attempts to get their attention, and then we sat at a wet sticky table for 15 minutes until my Dad finally asked someone - can we have menus? They pointed to the chalkboard. How were we supposed to know there were no actual menus? A simple hello and welcome would have solved the whole situation. After being rudely dismissed and ignored for a solid 20 minutes we left. I'm not picky - but some eye contact, a quick hello, some menus or some waters within 20 minutes is not too much to ask. Never going back. Drove 10 minutes to Shaggy's the next day and had a lovely time there.

Yelp
What a great spot to hang out when visiting Bay St Louis. The staff were attentive and well spirited. Love the ambiance. This place is surprisingly fun and can only imagine how busy this place must get during a non-Covid summer. My only down fall is the limited menu and was kind of expecting more of a surf and turf menu versus bar type food. The smoked Tuna is awesome... Remember to support local Businesses...
google avatar

Jeff F.

Yelp
This was a one and done. Look, dirty smell dirty, never again. The only thing they had voice cheap drinks other than that, no appeal whatsoever.
google avatar

Erica R.

Yelp
I've always had good food and lots of fun at the BSL location of the Blind Tiger. This spot is located right on the water and boasts beautiful harbor views. Parking is found on the nearby street but it can be a little hard to find on the weekends. The building itself is very unique with multiple levels. It has a very casual beach feel. They also have plenty of outdoor seating which is clutch in this time of Covid. The menu is fantastic. They have a lot of great drinks and meals to choose from. I've had both the mahi tacos and the seared tuna and both are magnificent. Everything is priced appropriately. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star is the service. The servers are all so nice and energetic but they're busy and seem to be understaffed so service tends to be pretty rough that being said, I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Elenora B.

Yelp
I've been here many times but it's been years since my last visit so I decided to stop in on my way to Biloxi. We sat upstairs on the top floor which I didn't even know existed. We had a great view of the water and the breeze was nice! My boyfriend and I split the smoked tuna dip and the cheeseburger which were pretty delicious! I had never had their burger but it was so good considering most of their food is seafood based. Their smoked dip was just as I remembered it and I'll keep getting that every time I go back. I ordered the peach mojito which I had never heard of that flavor combination before but that didn't make it any less tasty and refreshing. Our server was great as well and checked on us a good bit throughout our meal. I'll be back the Blind Tiger soon for sure!
google avatar

Ken M.

Yelp
Another great place on the water with a great staff and cold beers and drinks. Some great over the water views and main Street drive by. Will be back again and again. Go to top floor always place to sit and better views

Yelp
We saw this place online and were excited to try it. Upon arriving, we learned that the menu is very small -- what you see on the chalkboard is what you get. That wasn't clear on their website -- kinda misleading. There's no description of the food there either. The prices are quite high as well. My husband ordered the shrimp po-boy for $18 (no sides come with it) and it was HUGE. Not kidding, it was the size of two sandwiches. He had ordered a $5 side of fries with it not knowing how big it was. A pet peeve of mine is when a server does not tell you how big (if it is unusually big) a meal is and just lets you order a ton of food knowing it'll likely be wasted. When it arrived we were all shocked -- I hope that gave her a lesson for next time. The server seemed bored and aloof - no one was really friendly there. My shrimp tacos were fried....didn't know that either. It was OK, bland and did not have a lot of toppings. $16 for two tacos and no side, yikes. They did have happy hour tho (drinks only). The best thing -- their Bushwhacker! Oh my goodness, the best we have ever tasted! We tried several more in several other restaurants that week and none of them matched up to this one! Will only be coming back here for that drink. Otherwise, eat elsewhere.

Ruby H.

Yelp
fun atmosphere and food was awesome we got the tuna dip for an appetizer shrimp tacos seared tuna and cheddar burger very pleased we will be back.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I decided to check out The Blind Tiger and we were not disappointed. When we arrived, they were pretty busy as it was close to lunchtime, but the really nice hostess guided us through the different seating options on the main level and then she mentioned that there was a bar and extra seating upstairs as well. So we decided to head on upstairs and found a seat at a table close to the bar as well as close to a window overlooking the outside of the restaurant. Great view! The bartender was a very kind gentleman who came over to our table and not only took our drink orders, but also told us about: their menu, their drinks, and also about some of the history of the business. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our drinks and our overall, experience at The Blind Tiger. Good times!
