We had the opportunity to enjoy a unique and pleasurable experience at Blondinit! We took the liberty to try a plethora of items. If there were more capacity in our bellies then we would have ordered more. The Moroccan Cigars, baby artichokes, whipped feta, halloumi cheese, falafel and Schnitzel sandwich all had different flavors and all equally enjoyable. The Hibiscus Margarita was freshly made and top notch. 👌 The dessert….oh the dessert…you MUST get both the chocolate cake and pistachio cloud of goodness. I’m not even a pistachio person and it knocked my socks off. Super light and tasty. The chocolate cake made me shed a tear of joy. Needless to say, it was a great experience and pure delight. Thank you to the lovely owner (Inda) who spent some time with us to make it a great time. It’s always nice to see owners getting their hands dirty and helping the wait staff and interacting with guests. You don’t see that too often anymore. If you are considering this spot, don’t hesitate. We will be back you soon!

Google
Israeli restaurant with a good vibe and food. They offer many small plates which are good for sharing. The food is fresh and made to order. Good use of flavors throughout each dish. The staff is very friendly along with very good service. Nice outfits dinner area.

Spent the afternoon in Westport driving up from Scarsdale and we were fortunate to get a reservation at Blondinit. We sat outside in their covered patio with amazing vibes Israeli music, pretty decor and a menu with a variety of options! We had a couple of Haifa Spritz’s which paired well with the hummus and falafel and Israeli chopped salad. We also tried the bamba cauliflower which was excellent! Cannot wait to return to this restaurant!!! Worth the drive!!

Just walked out from this amazing, warm welcoming and delicious place- we drove from Stamford just to have family lunch. We tried many different dishes and drinks (I am full) but can not wait go back again and already made reservations for dinner to go again with my friends. Artichoke, salads, hummus, falafel, schnitzel, eggplant, salmon burger, kafta, corn and of course dessert - everything was fresh and very yummy. Just WOW 🤩 Thank you so much for making this day so special for us.

Google
This restaurant offers exceptional food and is a must-visit for anyone in the Westport, CT area. Every dish tastes incredibly fresh, and the chocolate cake is absolutely the best I’ve had — a definite highlight! The ambiance, food, and service are all top-notch. Highly recommend!

Google
Blondinit is an absolute gem! The food is fresh, full of flavor, and plated beautifully. Every bite feels thoughtfully prepared, and the menu has that perfect balance of creativity and comfort. What really makes this place stand out is the owner, Solomon. He’s a genuinely great guy who clearly cares about his restaurant and the people who walk through the door. You can feel his passion for creating a memorable dining experience in every detail — from the atmosphere to the service to the quality of the food. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated like more than just a customer, Blondinit is it. Highly recommended!

Google
As an Israeli, I was really hoping for a taste of home at Blondinit in Westport — but it missed the mark. The falafel was clearly made to suit local palates rather than staying true to authentic Israeli flavor. The sabich tasted nothing like it’s supposed to, and the pitas were stale and far from fresh. The hummus had the right texture but was bland. Service was just okay, and when I asked if anyone spoke Hebrew, the reaction felt off — almost like they were offended. The one redeeming quality is the location, which is great, right in the center of Westport.

Google
If you don’t like fresh ingredients, inventive flavorful dishes, and feeling like an old friend when you’re welcomed into a restaurant- this place is not for you. At Blondinit each bite is better than the last. The only down side is that you will want to keep eating these delicious dishes after you’re already full, so make sure to bring your elastic waist pants!

Yelp
Fabulous food, service, everything! The food was fresh and authentic! The service was fantastic.

Yelp
We had a reservation but still waited 20 minutes to be seated. The hostess wasn't particularly friendly, but we figured they were busy and let it slide. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes--no one acknowledged us, no menus, no silverware. Meanwhile, we saw a nearby table send their food back due to incorrect orders. To make things worse, we were sat outside with no shade, and we had our 5-year-old with us. After being completely ignored, we decided to leave. We ended up at Pink Sumo instead, which--as always--was a great experience with friendly service and good food. From what I saw, the food here didn't look worth the wait anyway. Not planning to return.

Yelp
An interesting experience. We visited restaurant for dinner. The restaurant serves Israeli food, and we can probably call it "tapas style" - good selection of shareable small dishes. My problem is that we had hummus, baba ganoush, cabbage salad, eggplant "chips" - and most of the dishes were rather bland. The only dish which was a standout was fried cauliflower- it was absolutely delicious. My wife had chicken schnitzel and that was seasoned reasonably well. Whole fried red snapper was amazing in the presentation, but again, lacked flavor. I had lamb/beef burger, and it was not bad, but very tough. Cabbage salad was a part of the burger, and the liquid from the salad was dripping all over. French fries were definitely the best part of the dish. Not bad overall, but if you are looking for a pop of flavor, not sure this is the right place. Or maybe we just were not so lucky. Friendly, prompt service.

Yelp
Very stylish place in Westport with a bright, clean look and music blaring. The food is very good, but a bit pricey. I guess that what you have to expect in Westport. I had the lunch bowl with falafel and it was quite tasty. The Israeli salad was very well seasoned and the falafel wasn't bad, although I'd expect more flavor for the $10 charge to add it to the bowl. The service was good and food came out quickly and was very fresh.

Yelp
I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. We sat outside on a beautiful heated patio space. Indoors very colorful and fun. The food was AMAZING and the service was just as wonderful. The owner/ manager helped my friend who is gluten and dairy free find lots of options on the menu for her. Incredibly creative sandwiches and salads/ bowls.

Yelp
Recently had dinner at Blondinit and everything was AMAZING! The service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, making our evening special. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: kefta, Moroccan cigars, Babaganoush, perigot chicken, and a kids' burger plate. Each dish was flavorful and simply but beautifully presented. For dessert, they brought out a slice of pistachio cake for my birthday...and it was exceptional - the perfect end to a wonderful meal. Highly recommend this restaurant for an outstanding dining experience! Will be back!

Yelp
This was one of my most unenjoyable meals in years. Every other single patron is seemingly being greeted or welcomed or catered to by the owner but not me. It feels like it's because I'm the only gentile and non Jew here that I've been ignored. One would expect some sort of hello, welcome for coming, how's everything tasting from a brand new owner after 4 days of being open. But nope, nothing, crickets.....all the while I see her catering to two other women at the bar she just met for the first time. The bartender has been beyond friendly and accommodating - he's great and I over tipped him accordingly. The wine list is great and they also have Israeli wines, which I love seeing. Perusing the menu prior to coming, I hoped for an Abbale TLV experience like the wonderful Israeli restaurant in Miami - savoring a variety of delicious Middle Eastern dishes wanting you craving for more visits. The samplers I had were fine. I love baba ghanoush but wouldn't reorder it. The warm mini pitas are a very nice touch. Too bad they didn't have any eggplant mezze items. I wish them well - they are still only catering to their friends and family obviously like our first visit. To not be welcomed and embraced a second time doesn't make for an experience where we'd want to return and support this new restaurant, which is a shame.

Yelp
Delicious eastern Mediterranean food, emphasizing lamb, hummus, Israeli cabbage salad, beef and lamb burger with holummi cheese, various fish and chicken dishes, "nish nosh" (small plate dishes) and an otherwise healthy food selection. Nice wines too. It's an attractive place with an inside bar and nicely lit interior as well as sidewalk seating in the center of Westport's restaurant row, opposite the Spotted Horse. The service was friendly and efficient, and it's clear the owners have crafted a wonderful menu and trained their staff with great care and pride. I wish them all the success they deserve!

Steve Y.

Yelp
The service was the worst our family has ever seen. People sweet walking out, wrong food was brought to table after waiting 45 minutes...They did not care . We will make sure to spread this news and never go near this place again. Shame on you for running a restaurant like this

Tanya K.

Yelp
What a wonderful addition to Westport. We have been to Blondinit a few time and every time the food is outstanding, service is attentive and on point. Highly recommend coming here to enjoy delicious food and enjoy outdoor seating.

Yelp
The food here was really, really good! We tried the baba ganoush, whipped feta, burger and schnitzel sandwich. Everything was fresh and delicious. Ambiance is nice and inviting too. The only negative was that the entrees took a really long time to come out (but the staff was very apologetic about this). We would definitely come back!

Yelp
Finally! The long awaited spot everyone has been waiting for in the neighborhood has opened their doors. We've already been 3 times and it is now at the top of our regulars in Westport. What a fantastic addition to the Westport community and CT in general. We've tried all the kebabs (chicken , kofta , salmon and steak) all fresh, delicious and so flavorful. Literally everything we have had so far has been absolutely mouthwatering and leaves you wanting more even as you leave stuffed. The cocktails are fantastic! Jeff really knows what's he's doing ! I couldn't stop ordering the Bokhur Tov (espresso martini). So good and the wine selection is very unique. Yummiest Sancerre I've had in a while. The decor is very Tel-Aviv/Miami vibe and now that the weather is getting warmer, the al fresco dining is chic perfection. Inda and Sol (the owners) are the sweetest! So warm, welcoming and fun! They make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk thru the door. It's pretty obvious the lady who left the negative review below is lying and seems bitter and I would question credibility to any of her reviews. Friends and Family events are private and the audacity and entitlement to think you should just be let in, is confusing. Then to come back and bash this new amazing place is just low. Do better yelpers, don't be like her! Best new spot in town, run don't walk for some fresh, authentic and delicious Mediterranean cuisine with an eclectic spin along with a warm family feel. Can't wait to check out the brunch

Yelp
Highly recommend. If you like Esh in Fairfield, you will LOVE this food and their cocktails. Went last night with a group of ladies. The service was 5 stars, the bartender was fabulous, and the food was absolutely delicious. 3 of us had hibiscus margaritas which were gorgeous and super tasty. 1 had the grey goose martini with feta brine and stuffed feta olives. She loved it. We ordered dips, the cabbage salad, Moroccan cigars and the artichokes. We all agreed that babaganoush was the best we've ever had. Loved the artichokes. I want to go back right now to order them again. Everything was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. I would recommend all of them. For dinner we shared the salmon skewers and the branzino. They were well seasoned, perfectly cooked and delicious. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. On the way home we talked about when we can go back and other friends we'd like to have join us. Looking forward to my next meal there soon!

Yelp
Was so excited to try Blondinit! The owners greeted my daughter and me with a warm welcome, asked our names and had a nice conversation. The food was incredible!!!! Love this place and will definitely be back often!!! Thank you for coming to Westport.

Angela R.

Yelp
Visited from a neighboring town for lunch with the express intention to try the food. We were blown away. From the exceptional pita to the smooth and delicious hummus, the meal was amazing from start to finish. The hand cut fries were outstanding, the salmon kebab , saffron rice, and labneh were all delicious. One issue with the Israeli and Greek salads: they had no right to be THAT fresh and bright in the middle of winter!! Wherever they source their ingredients, it's clear someone is paying attention and is very discerning about what goes on to the plates. We went on a quiet afternoon and the staff and owners couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating, even offering to have us share in tasting a dish prepared for their staff family meal. Great food, great vibes, we will definitely be back!

Daniel R.

Yelp
Been here a few times and so happy there is an Israeli restaurant in Westport! Service is always excellent A very minor suggestion which if addressed can raise to 5 stars--- Falafel is over cooked and dry with a rather odd taste Israeli salad I had was almost 90% tomatoes with few other typical ingredients Everything else is quite nice and it is a lovely experience!! Keep up the great work, Solomon

Tracy L.

Yelp
We catered an event and it was fresh and delicious. They are so easy to work with too.

Barbara G.

Yelp
Outstanding dinner! Very attentive service, excellent food and fun vibe. While we were waiting for friends to arrive, our waiter brought us a dish of warm homemade pita and delicious salatim. The four of us then shared the humus, moroccan cigars, baby artichokes and eggplant chips (a special of the evening). All delicious and really quite enough for dinner. But we felt compelled to try the skewers and followed up with the parigot (chicken) and steak skewers, which were very tasty and cooked to perfection. The owner stopped by our table, knew who we were from our reservation, and chatted with us. Very nice wine selection too. We all look forward to going back - and cannot wait for warm weather so we can enjoy the large outdoor bar and dining area. A wonderful addition to Westport - a town that does not lack for great dining options, this is is a most welcome newcomer!

Yelp
The place was 82 degrees as per the thermostat on the wall. When we asked if they could turn up the AC, his weird answer was "we can't." At least if he said sorry the AC broke it would have been a little more understandable but his answer leads one to believe they were just being cheap. What is more egregious is they stuck us at the hottest table when there were other tables open. Why not at least bring a fan?? They have some nerve opening up for business and letting paying customers swelter. The food seemed good but we couldn't enjoy it because we were in various stages of heat stroke. Fix your AC and bring a fan in the interim. Don't seat customers without letting them know they will be dining in 82 degrees with no air circulation.

Yelp
My new fave! Outstanding service and charming ambience (especially outdoors, weather permitting) and I am literally craving the menu items I tried on my last three (four?) visits. The cauliflower, the dips, the chicken, the salmon, the wine, the cocktails... all mouthwatering.

Wendy C.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Staff was super helpful with menu selection and everything tasted wonderful with very fresh ingredients. Lovely little place with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
Food is OK, at naturally high Westport prices. Service lovely, and the fresh baked pita and accompaniments were yummy. It is SO deafeningly loud, however, that I walked out with a headache and would t go back just for that reason. Hope they install some sound absorbing tiles.

Yelp
My husband and I had a wonderful meal and experience at The Blondit! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed as if we were log time friends. The wait staff was wonderful, the food was delicious. We wish Solomon and his family a long and prosperous venture in Westport. We'll definitely be back and be certain we will tell all our friends about this Israeli food treasure!

Ilana K.

Yelp
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and sat in the cozy patio. Felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Enjoyed the appetizers, with Babaganoush being outstanding. They were unfortunately out of the Branzijo which we had been looking forward to, but everyone enjoyed their meat dishes. My husband loved the kofta which he said was better than at Esh in Fairfield We went with a bottle of a nice Israeli Chardonnay and had a wonderful time. Looking forward to returning.

Camilla K.

Yelp
The food was great. Pitas were fresh and delicious. Loved the tahini. We had the Ariella lamb burger ($3 surcharge to substitute fries for Israeli salad). The burger was delicious- loved the red slaw. Chicken schnitzel was also great. Loved the decor too, although we sat outside. The only downside was when the manager reprimanded the very nice hostess in front of a bunch of customers for helping us with the check when our waiter went AWOL. What was she supposed to do? Tell us "No!"? We felt terrible.

Rita L.

Yelp
Excellent food and service! Perfect menu for a warm spring day. Friendly, attentive staff

Courtney L.

Yelp
My husband and I were so excited to try The Blondinit and it did not disappoint! The food was PHENOMENAL! My husband and I felt like we were transported back to Israel with fresh flavors and incredibly flavorful meals. The staff was friendly, attentive, and the owner Solomon greeted us and made sure everything was perfect (which it was). We left already planning when we will come back!

Andi S.

Yelp
This is my new favorite spot in town. We were greeted when we walked in and checked on many times to make sure that everything was to our liking. The restaurant is so pretty, the service was great but the best part was the food. The Greek salad (I added salmon) was perfection! When I find a place I love I want to go all the time so I have a feeling we will get to know each other well:) Well worth the wait!!!!!

Sarah S.

Yelp
Great food, friendly service, very kid friendly and accommodating. What more could you ask for. Incredibly lucky to have them in Westport.

Kylie H.

Yelp
Really enjoyed my lunch at The Blondinit the food is delicious and the decor elevates the experience. Ordered the limonana (gin-based lemon cocktail) and it was refreshing yet sophisticated. They have a burger with halloumi cheese that's worth the trip alone. The pita and dips are fantastic and my children loved the kids menu. Service was on par with a high-end NYC restaurant and the owner personally greeted us. The waitress even allowed us to make a small "tweak" to one of the meals we ordered. Overall, great experience and we'll be back for sure!

Ali T.

Yelp
Got seated quite quickly but got ignored for at least half an hour until we alerted the server AND the receptionist. One hour later, we see that the people who got seated after us were served before us (and we hadn't even ordered yet!). This was on a hot Sunday afternoon as we sat outside. Food was great, can't complain. So, they're busy, (I understand!), and I wasn't going to short them on the tip. Tipped well over 20% but when I got my credit card bill, I was surprised - they added more than what I had signed for! Not cool.

Rick V.

Yelp
Visited for the first time last evening. We didn't have a reservation (as they only take reservations for parties of 4 or more) but they were very accommodating and seated us pretty quickly. The food and service was great. The atmosphere was vibrant. Hat-tip to the very friendly bartender. We'll be back!

JoJo B.

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE!! I'm so excited! I've waited a while for it to open up and it exceeded my expectations! The sabich sandwich is amazing and we haven't had better falafel. The ambience is so much fun with the Israeli music and the decor is beautiful. The staff was also very friendly. Highly recommend! My new favorite spot in Westport :)

kathleen f.

Yelp
This is a welcome addition to Fairfield County! With on vegetarian in the family, the menu options are really wonderful. Everything is very fresh and delicious with some very healthy options and lighter bite. The cocktails really shine here with unusual twists like a feta infused martini! The owners Inda and Soloman could not be more welcoming and friendly! The bartender is a keeper- friendly and engaging. The outdoor bar and seating will be the Summer spot!

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Fantastic addition to Westport! Fun vibe and decor, friendly staff, and excellent food. The hummus, kebabs, beet latkes are highlights. Also great kids menu and atmosphere for them early in the night. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
