We had an absolutely fantastic graduation lunch experience at Blue Crane Restaurant. Amazing experience, the waiter Sphiwe went beyond and above with the customers service as well as the staff very friendly, and their service was quickly, very attentive. The food was tastier than i expected 😋 😘 The prices on the menu are great 👌 I had pie of the day it was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious 😋 and beautifully presented. From our drinks to mains and dessert, highly recommend for any special occasion. Also, the atmosphere was comfortable and warm. It's definitely a new hidden gem 😃 favorite spot. I will be returning soon. 🤗

A truly unique experience for us. We had skaapstertjies and pap, one of the genuine South African original dishes. It was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent.

Beautiful scenic garden. Lovely place for food inside and outside. Lake to enjoy while you have you meals. Loved the garden with fresh veggies.

A nice place to chill but the food was quite bad, the fish I ordered seemed like it had been in the freezer for over a year, the service was good, they apologised and removed it off our bill

We used the upper deck venue for a 50th/Wedding. The team reasurred us all the way. We had many questions and doubts at stages but we were supported phenominally and the event(s) 😄 were a HUGE success. Arthur, Emily and Felix along with the manageress - we cannot thank you enough. Take more videos and pictures of the venue as what we saw online and experienced in person are worlds apart. What a GEM!!

I was quite disappointed with the service during my visit. I had explicitly requested sauce on the side, but my dish arrived with sauce already on it. Additionally, despite ordering the catch of the day, the waiter tried to push the pie of the day on me. I was seated at table 6 and felt let down by the overall experience. Even after leaving a generous tip, the waiter seemed to expect more money, despite the mix-up being due to his colleague's mistake. It's essential for customers to feel valued and have their needs met. This experience fell short of those expectations.

You have an option of inside or outside dining. We opted for the outside area, shaded by lovely old trees with a view af the bird sanctuary. The indoors area have a view of the dam. An abundance of birds in the sanctuary, chirping away. Dog friendly area. Does not feel if you are in the middle of Pretoria, quiet and tranquil. Short hiking trails through the sanctuary. Rustic feel to the outdoors area, inside is more upmarket. Friendly waiters. Food are well prepared and tasty. Cappuccino were nice and strong. Safe parking.
