The Blue Heron Restaurant

I visited Blue Heron with my work colleagues for a couple of hours, and it was such a refreshing experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere stood out—calm, cool, and very well put together. It felt peaceful without being dull, and the setting was just right for relaxing and enjoying some time away from the usual work environment. The service was great throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything flowed smoothly without being intrusive. The drinks were good and served on time, and everything was nicely presented. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. What I appreciated most was the overall vibe of the place. It felt collected and well-organized, with a balance between quietness and liveliness that made it easy to sit back and enjoy the moment. Whether you’re going with colleagues, friends, or even on your own, it’s a spot that makes you feel at ease. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Blue Heron and left feeling refreshed. It’s definitely a place I would recommend and one I look forward to coming back to again.

Perfect spot for a girls’ night out! We came just for drinks and had the best time. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing — exactly what we needed for a catch-up session. The cocktails were delicious and beautifully made, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great spot to unwind, laugh, and enjoy the evening with good company. We’ll be back again soon — maybe next time for dinner too!

There is something about the peace and quiet at Schwari/blue heron restaurant. It's got a beautiful view of the bypass and the greenery in between is very calming to just look at while sipping on some juice. If you visit and you are vegan, make sure to try their vegan pesto pizza. I'm definitely going back. Great service from the staff.

Located in the outskirts of Arusha, The Blue Heron is the best place to get some rest and relaxation and spend quality time with family and loved ones, offering various sporting and gaming activities for one to enjoy with their loved ones, beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor choices with a beautiful scenery facing the famous Mt.Meru I had the pork ribs and fries which were beautifully seasoned and cooked to utter perfection, and the fries were perfectly crunchy. Service was swift and quick and meal waiting time wasn’t long, food is also reasonably priced but portion was small for my liking.

Awesome place outside of Arusha City not far from Arusha airport. Very serene atmosphere, incredibly fresh ingredients used and just an overall nice restaurant if you are in the area. Bonus is Mount MERU in the distance on clear days.

Great atmosphere, artistic, well thought out venue with a gorgeous view of Mt Meru on most days. A bit off the beatwn track but well worth the visit. The boutique is gorgeous, with all items designed by the owner and manufactured on site. Food is mostly Italian. I usually get the Shawarma. Sundays there's an all-you-can-eat brunch that's well attended. Sweet breada made by owner's Mom. I love the family feel and seeing the mix of people that visit. Lots of space and games for children.
