The Blue Heron Restaurant

I visited Blue Heron with my work colleagues for a couple of hours, and it was such a refreshing experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere stood out—calm, cool, and very well put together. It felt peaceful without being dull, and the setting was just right for relaxing and enjoying some time away from the usual work environment. The service was great throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything flowed smoothly without being intrusive. The drinks were good and served on time, and everything was nicely presented. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. What I appreciated most was the overall vibe of the place. It felt collected and well-organized, with a balance between quietness and liveliness that made it easy to sit back and enjoy the moment. Whether you’re going with colleagues, friends, or even on your own, it’s a spot that makes you feel at ease. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to Blue Heron and left feeling refreshed. It’s definitely a place I would recommend and one I look forward to coming back to again.

The scenery is beautiful and welcoming. The meals are delicious. There is a very beautiful foot bridge that you can pose for memorable photos. It was the beaded chandeliers that kept my eyes hooked on and I liked the rustic touch, cultural and nature around the area from furniture to decor.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and very yummy food. The pork ribs are chef's kiss...and the pizzas aren't bad either. I will definitely go back for the pork ribs next time I'm in Arusha...one of the best I've ever had; very tender, juicy with a very delicious sauce.

The view of mount Meru from the restaurant is wonderful and unobstructed and the restaurant has a cozy/cool style. The pizzas are good and the service is friendly but quite slow. The only reason for not giving five stars on the food is their choice of not using higher quality ingredients on the pizzas. They also have a very good and unique gift shop.

Nice restaurant with a cozy and charming atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The views of Mount Meru,trees, rustic decor, and comfortable seating make it an ideal place for a relaxed meal.

Perfect spot for a girls’ night out! We came just for drinks and had the best time. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing — exactly what we needed for a catch-up session. The cocktails were delicious and beautifully made, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great spot to unwind, laugh, and enjoy the evening with good company. We’ll be back again soon — maybe next time for dinner too!
