Fun place for tea every day of summer

It’s a nice setting, but you need to avoid using a credit card at the bar or they’ll mark up the total as they see fit after you sign. I have to pity these guys who are willing to commit fraud for a couple of bucks, but I suppose their cute scam of turning 1s into 4s and 5s into 8s brings in good money at scale.

The music is so loud now, I have to scream to flirt. Please - less decibels

Food was very good (tapas style). Good service. Great live blues music being played. We were there between 2-3:30. I would go back. It turns into a hopping bar from what we are told. Of course it is a predominantly gay crowd moving forward.

Depends on who you are and what you expect. Nearly everyone there appeared to be gay men in their 20s and 30s, and they almost all fulfilled the cliches you may have about them. I came there dressed as a woman and had hoped for the people there being ok with that (not gay though). While most didn’t care, some others made really nasty comments. I’m sure the same guys wouldn’t appreciate such comments about them in a bar primarily visited by straight people.

The crowd makes the place, and the crowd here is always smiling and having a good time. Who cares that the drinks are over-priced. It's The Pines, you're smiling, you're making some new friends, and you don't have a care in the world. So add to the positive energy and have a good time.

How the heck do you get hold of someone there? Every phone in every place is locked into the same account, and not one single person picks up a phone or calls you back. That is one effed up system of deflection. This is why I don't spend money anywhere in the Pines except the Pantry. Very weird indeed.

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. My meal was served after the rest of the table had been served and finished their mediocre meals. Unfortunately the rosemary chicken was under cooked and inedible. These people are incompetent and dangerous.
