The Boat House Bed & Breakfast

My wife and I loved our stay here. Jane and Keith were exemplary as hosts being friendly, helpful and professional. Their breakfasts were delicious and really set you up for the day. We stayed in the Scarlet Room and it was spacious and comfortable. The decor reflected the room's name but was done so simply and tastefully. If you need a place to relax I cannot think of a more comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay. Thank you Keith and Jane.

Keith and Jane are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them both The breakfasts were well cooked and very tasty with the dining room managing to have both a homely and professional feel. The room my wife and I stayed in (Scarlet Room) was spacious with a small seating area and was simply but tastefully decorated. The bed was so comfortable! The Boat House is situated by the castle and makes for a stunning view. For a better deal speak to Keith and Jane directly rather than go through s booking agency)

When visiting the lovely village of Laugharne in Wales, my son and I were fortunate enough to stay at The Boat House Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by our gracious hosts, Jane and Keith. To say that the services we received were exceptional is an understatement! The rooms were pristine and spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds. We were treated to a delicious cooked to order breakfast in the morning that kept us full all day. Jane and Keith have created and atmosphere that made us feel at home even though were thousands of miles away. If you are ever in Wales, this hidden gem is a must!

Lovely b&b! Hosts are friendly and welcoming, we had the "smallest" room (blue), which was actually quite big! Clean and tidy, en suite was spacious too. Breakfast was lovely. No negatives, would definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay in The Boathouse and would thoroughly recommend it. We had a very warm welcome, were extremely well looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the guesthouse itself was lovely, with a great location in the heart of Laugharne.

My wife and I really fancied a short break. An online search led us to the Boat House B&B. When we arrived we didn't really know what to expect. We were welcomed by the proprietor Keith and his lovely wife Jane. We had the smallest room in the establishment, but wow it was a wonderful size. There was a private reserved parking space and the location was superb. The room was comfortable, clean and a lovely place to retreat to after a day out. The establishment is also dog-friendly. Walk out of the front door and your met by the imposing beautiful site of Laugharne Castle, the beautiful estuary and of course that's just a stone's throw from Dylan Thomas' Boat House. Many other attractions in beautiful Pembroke, Carmarthen and Ceredigion are also not too far away. After our stay we ask ourselves two questions. Would I come back? Would I recommend it to others? Our answers are two big yeses.

Lovely B & B, hosts Keith & Jane were great hosts and cooked an amazing breakfast. We stayed in the Scarlet room and the bed was so comfy.

The B&B was in a really good location, and we were made very welcome, nothing was too much trouble, the room was a really good size and the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great and our Jack Russell enjoyed his. A sausage cooked just for him.
