The Boat - Mindarie

The kitchen opens at 11:30 on a weekend and so there is a flurry of orders from hungry patrons. Unfortunately it is one of those oreder via QR code establishments so already on a minor grievance. The food itself takes a bit of time to get out and we were perplexed given other tables that arrived after us got their orders first, thinking the order didn't go through as there was no way on confirming. When it did come, the food was ok, it wasn't flashy or something to brag about. It was decent and the setting was nice. Inside the restraurant itself was really big and could accommodate alot of people.

Had a great time at The Boat! The food was super tasty and the service was really good too. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly the view and the chill vibe make it totally worth it. Perfect spot to relax with good food and a drink. Definitely going back 😊

What a perfect way to do Christmas in July - Santa was great, the bar staff amazing, the security nicecand friendly andservice with a smile. Christmas dinner and cocktail were delicious and live music just made the day even better. Well done

Pleasantly surprised at the taste of our food - everything we ordered was delicious. Food was served pretty quick after ordering. Service was pretty good. Happy to come back again. Went on a Saturday night and they had live music too.

Arrived on what appeared to be a busy night with transvestite bingo that seemed hugely popular and was quite amusing. We waited by door assuming we would be seated after confirming our booking. After a few minutes we were asked were we OK and choose any table as only people that booked had reserved table. We let hostess know we had a booking and were taken to our table. We then waited almost 10 minutes and called someone over to be told we order at bar which hadn't been mentioned. During our meal the table got full with glasses and plates and as things were delivered nobody proactively removed any glasses or used plates and we had to ask or move ourselves. The food was great but service really let the place down. There were a lot of staff but just didnt seem to proactively think to clear table. Very different to other restaurants we visited in Perth. Its easy to fix and as mentioned the food was nice so give it a go

Actually didn’t make it into the venue as they had trades people working on replacing glass using the disabled bays. Walked into the venue to speak to the manager to see if they were aware and to rectify situation. First words out of his mouth was “this is private property, they need to be close to the venue” as this heated the conversation he then went on to ask “if I was even disabled”. My father is wheelchair bound suffering with late stages of Parkinson’s. But I’d asked them to go ahead while I went into the boat. Absolutely disgraced with the response from the venue. My family has been going to the marina for the last 25 years + accessibility is hard enough as it is, doesn’t need to be made worse by such incompetence and lack of care shown.

Food good, staf that served us was really friendly and helpful, nice location with nice atmosphere on a sunny day. Chips not great but the pork belly and pizza were nice. Beer I didnt rate, normally enjoy an IPA but this tasted a bit like chemical.

Drove to this location to spend the night. The nice fragrance from the kitchen of this establishment filled the room, and so, I have to have dinner there. The staffs are friendly, food selection is great, and really tasty beer. Ordered a beef burger, which taste awesome! The duck potatoes are really fragrant(maybe I smelled this from my room) Squid rings as sides. The Mrs ordered a seafood linguine, be prepared. The portion is HUGE. The seafood in it is super generous. But side note, the pasta was slightly overcooked… Wifey couldn’t finish her pasta. 🤣🤣 Although really out of the way, I would highly recommend. This place!
