The Boat - Mindarie

Sunny day and busy busy over the holiday season. Good atmosphere and good service. Loved the Laksa. Spicy though . Barramundi tacos were good. It’s a nice place to sit around and have a drink. A well balanced menu. I’m happy to return .

We were over from the UK visiting our daughter & family and she booked the 7 of us for dinner on a Friday night. First off , what a superb location , sadly we didn't have the marina view but we did ask .... perhaps next time 🤞 Anyhow here we go , we ordered our food at the bar and as it was very busy I thought it would take an age but it did all arrive in a reasonable time and I've got to say all the dishes ordered were delicious, well presented and generous size ... full plates arrived - empty plates returned. We visited several restaurants during our 3 weeks and The Boat is one we will definitely return to. Great allround and no hesitation in recommending. Enjoy.

Really nice vibe here sitting so close to the water, eyeing the expensive boats and the even more expensive 3 level cray boat owners mega homes across the Marina. Great menu selection that you can order from the table or walk up to the bar. Heaps of seating inside or outside with perfect lighting as it changes from dusk to twilight. The food was extremely good quality with large portion sizes representing good value for money IMHO. The staff were super attentive delivering all our dishes in a very professional and swift manner. Hats off to the kitchen staff as all of the meals were absolutely spot on. If we were really trying to be critical from a constructive viewpoint - the Thai beef salad was possibly a little too heavy on noodles V salad ratio, but that is a very small detail from a 10 out of 10 dining experience. Thankyou. We are local and haven’t been down there for ages and now we will definitely make an effort to enjoy that beautiful Marina location at sunset more often.

The kitchen opens at 11:30 on a weekend and so there is a flurry of orders from hungry patrons. Unfortunately it is one of those oreder via QR code establishments so already on a minor grievance. The food itself takes a bit of time to get out and we were perplexed given other tables that arrived after us got their orders first, thinking the order didn't go through as there was no way on confirming. When it did come, the food was ok, it wasn't flashy or something to brag about. It was decent and the setting was nice. Inside the restraurant itself was really big and could accommodate alot of people.

Amazing experience from start to finish! The staff is incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere is perfect, and the view over the marina is simply beautiful. We loved it and will definitely be back. The savoury waffles were a highlight for me!

Had a great time at The Boat! The food was super tasty and the service was really good too. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but honestly the view and the chill vibe make it totally worth it. Perfect spot to relax with good food and a drink. Definitely going back 😊

Popped in for refreshments today whilst visiting from NZ a great choice. We sat under a shady tree close to water, our drinks were nice and cold. I would recommend the BOAT Mindarie to discerning diners and traveler’s who want a delightful experience! Arthur C. Charlton west Auckland NZ

Great food and drinks, great atmosphere, great to find this spot while on holiday from NZ. The meal sizes are also generous. The view is amazing also 🤩 Make sure you add sweet chilli to the garlic bread 🤤
