The Boat - Mindarie

Drove to this location to spend the night. The nice fragrance from the kitchen of this establishment filled the room, and so, I have to have dinner there. The staffs are friendly, food selection is great, and really tasty beer. Ordered a beef burger, which taste awesome! The duck potatoes are really fragrant(maybe I smelled this from my room) Squid rings as sides. The Mrs ordered a seafood linguine, be prepared. The portion is HUGE. The seafood in it is super generous. But side note, the pasta was slightly overcooked… Wifey couldn’t finish her pasta. 🤣🤣 Although really out of the way, I would highly recommend. This place!

Went on an adventure to the suburbs leaving my normal city environs to visit the wilds of the out suburbs Mindarie is a beautiful place first time visit and the pub is in a Lovely location. Functional space. Demoralised staff. Unclean tables. Disappointing meals. Overpriced wines well priced beers. Great place if you like beer and fries. I ordered the crayfish . The salad was edible. The animal was dry and over cooked. Chips underwhelming. I had to ask for the meal ….no one bothered to bring it out to me. Had to ask for the table to be wiped down….is this what the suburbs are like ? Wasn’t sure Don’t waste your money on premium options. Have a beer , Some fries enjoy the lovely view with good company . Has an adequate Craic 3/5

First time to The Boat at Mindarie. Nice pub with a great beer garden. Fast friendly service. There was a good musician playing and not overly loud. Atmosphere was spoilt by the amount of groups of young kids walking around the pub and beer garden. It’s all non smoking. Drinks were on the expensive side.

The view, the food, the service - Amazing. Staff all happy, every meal is delicious, the pic is because the food was too delicious so I forgot to take a pic, but Garlic Prawns and Fish and Chips 10/10.

I like a visit to "The boat". The food has always been really good. I personally preferred it when the decor was a bit darker, but it now has a slightly more modern air. A generous outdoor seating area is very popular on a sunny day. Perfect spot for soaking in the sights, sounds and smells of a marina.

Amazing location. All the staff are super kind & helpful. Food and drinks are always great. The balls up bingo is brilliant aswell!

It’s a real shame I could only give this place two stars because the food honestly looked really good and the space was lovely. For the price the portion sizes were quite good, the fish and chips was big enough to share with two pieces of fish. Unfortunately my beef burger came out pink on the inside so I asked for it to be re made and they were very nice about it. My cousin ordered a chick pea burger and they gave her a chicken burger which she unfortunately bit into, and they agreed to remake hers as well. It took longer to come back out than it did to initially receive the food which was a shame considering everyone else had well finished eating by the time ours was on its way. Before the food came back out we spotted a large cockroach underneath the table which really ruined both of our appetites. I understand it must be difficult to keep them out with the location but it’s still disgusting and doesn’t really make me want to eat there. The staff were very understanding and lovely and we both got refunds for our meals and still offered to keep them (we didn’t). And to top it off the ladies bathroom had a turd on the floor which again Is disgusting and doesn’t make me want to go back. Really disappointing considering everyone else had loved their food and the drinks were good and well priced. Again the staff were lovely but overall disappointed with this experience.

Top food and top service. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with our requests. We took fish and chips up to the room for my parents, then we came back down to The Boat for our dinner. (Their choice to dine in front of the tv, chilling) Beautiful relaxing atmosphere by the Marina with a picturesque view of the boats and homes. We are so blessed to be living in this incredible safe country.
