The Boathouse Phuket

Just spent the perfect week here. Lovely relaxed vibe and beachside setting. Beautiful hotel at the quieter end of Kata, which suited us perfectly. We stayed in the penthouse suite, with amazing views over the beach and sea (you could hear the waves gently crashing at night). The suite internally was huge, the balcony was small, long and thin, room enough for a small seating area, with a stunning outlook. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool , which also had great views. The pool staff looked after us well, providing complimentary water, towels and the occasional fruit kebab along with bar service and a small library. Everything we had at breakfast was delicious with a good range of both western and Thai choices. A special shout out to the reception staff who were so pleasant and helpful throughout the whole of our stay. Thank you, Sharon, David & William ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. The level of service was truly impressive - efficient, attentive, and consistently friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast each morning was pleasant, offering a nice selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a cozy bed that made it easy to relax. Overall, both the rooms and the beds provided an excellent level of comfort. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable, enjoyable stay.

We’ve spent marvelous time at the hotel. Everything is perfect about the place. Rooms are clean,the bed sheets are changed every day. The hotel is not crowded with people, it gives you an opportunity to relax and enjoy your time. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is a la carte, everything is tasty and beautifully served. There are plenty of shops opposite the hotel where you can find fruits, smoothies, massages, and there is 7-Eleven in 2 minutes walk too.

The Boathouse is such an amazing place to stay. Small enough not to get lost in the crowds, big enough to have excellent and personalised service. The restaurant was excellent and the staff quick and responsive (and food delicious!) The front desk staff were just so lovely and helpful - I can't say enough nice things. I got sick for a day, and the caring and personal attention we received was just next level. The location on the beach couldn't be beat, and it was close to the shops and market. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely exceptional experience at The Boathouse Phuket. We travelled with young kids and the way the entire team treats children is genuinely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everyone made our family feel welcome, relaxed, and looked after. The receptionist, concierge, and restaurant staff were all incredibly warm, patient, and attentive — not just doing their jobs, but actually caring. It makes a massive difference when you’re travelling with kids, and The Boathouse absolutely nails it. Beautiful location, great atmosphere, and service that feels personal from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would 100% return. Highly recommended 🙌🏼

This is the second year here as a December and January destination . On this occasion we spent less than a week of a 5 week trip to Phuket and Malaysia. |They look after their guests very well from the à la carte breakfast on the beach front terrace to the pool service , restaurant dining and reception staff . Nothing is too much trouble. |The location. is perfect with quick and easy access to the beach , pool bar prices are reasonable and includes service to your sunbed by the attentive and friendly pool staff at . The rooms are immaculate and spacious and are cleaned and topped. up with toiletries , towels, water xnd snacks twice daily. |The front of the hotel is on a busy road but doesn't effect the tranquil experience once you enter the reception. It does however allow quick access to Kata beach areas and Kata Noi. We will be back

A very beautiful hotel located right on Kata Beach. The rooms are relatively new and the bed is extremely comfortable. The pool faces the beach and there are plenty of sunbeds available. The breakfast is excellent as well. The beach is quite crowded, but it doesn’t really bother you since you can access it directly from the pool area. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There truly are no negative points here. Ideal for couples.

This hotel is perfectly located directly on Kata Beach, with immediate access to the sea and beautiful views. The location alone makes it special, but everything else lives up to it as well.||||The food was excellent, both in quality and variety, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well designed, offering a relaxing place to unwind after a day at the beach.||||The pool area is great, with a fantastic pool bar that adds a very relaxed, holiday atmosphere — especially in the afternoon and early evening.||||The only minor downside was a slightly noisy air-conditioning unit in the room, but this was the only complaint and didn’t significantly affect the overall experience.||||Overall, a great hotel with an unbeatable beachfront location, excellent service, and very good value. I would happily stay here again.
