Google
I visited A LOT of pubs in and outside of Paris and this one feels like one of the more authentic ones in the city. They have good ales on tap, good live sports and staff is friendly Also, the view is amazing

Vasil Vasilev

Google
This is a great restaurant/pub! They have amazing food and drinks! The English breakfast was especially delicious! They even have it as a vegan version! It was extremely tasty! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Laura Smith

Google
Came in to watch the football as they have sky sports - but actually such a lovely little pub! Great view of the Panthéon as well

Victoria B

Google
Now Paris has got another cracking spot. It's a proper British pub, just like those in London! We watched the Champions League final there, and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing. The view of the Pantheon was stunning! And I think I’ve gone and fallen for a bloke with a tash. 🤭

Carl Commins-Patrick

Google
I'm always a bit cynical about British pubs abroad, but this one's an absolute gem. Great choice of ales, and had the fish and chips... fries really, but willing to let that pass, as the fish was one of the best cooked bits of fish I've had in a long time. Superb

Alessandro Zenari

Google
It’s London, but in Paris. Been here for the beer and been here for the (British) food, never been disappointed. Always with some sports. Friendly staff!

Caroline de Bel-Air

Google
Always thrilled to go the Bombardier for an excellent fish & chips with good beer! The view of the Pantheon is gorgeous and the staff super welcoming.

Marc Ross

Google
Pub by name, British pub by nature. Serves some very nice craft ales and does a full english and a Sunday roast, which is great if you're missing it, but if that's the case why are you in Paris? Bar staff were friendly and welcoming, and had cricket on the TVs, which was a bonus.

Yelp
I thought it may be socially unacceptable to go out and have a beer in Paris - we came to this British-style pub just for that. The location is close to the Pantheon. The place had a great atmosphere- lots of locals just sitting around talking and enjoying a different setting. The service was friendly and welcoming. It also has a great view of the steps and street from the movie Midnight in Paris. If you are a fan and visit Paris, make sure to come here for a cold beer and a chance to relax.

Yelp
Good English pub in Paris near Pantheon. Bartenders speak English. Good beer and good food. Atmosphere is great.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly. They told us about tv shows and films that have shot there. We stayed for a beer & some chips. Good location by the Pantheon. It was pretty full during the day. The bathroom is located in the very back & the bar is very pretty. The staff treated us like locals. We love that. This would definitely become a regular spot for us if we lived in Paris.

Bubba C.

Yelp
Oh my gosh.... The Frenchy burger was soooo good! I'd rate it a 12 out of 10. Definitely try the sweet potato fries and fried Camembert bites. Chicken tenders were great too. Staff was so kind and friendly!

Yelp
What a cool spot. Got some hot fresh chips and a cold tasty stout. I'd love to go back next time I'm in Europe.

Yelp
If for whatever reason you find yourself in the mood for British food in Paris, The Bombardier is a great option. They have a great menu of British food that has vegetarian options. On weekends, they have English Breakfast as an option, which comes with eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, hash browns, and meats if you order the non-vegetarian versions. It comes with coffee and is very filling and satisfying. Their beer selection is excellent, with some great British beer selections that you can't find elsewhere in Paris. The atmosphere is nice and the server is very friendly and accommodating. The pub is in a really cool and historical part of Paris. After you've had your fill of baguette and cheese and wine, The Bombardier is a great place to have some hearty brunch with stout beer for a change.

Yelp
Coming from the US my hubby needed some Different beers on our Europe trip and the lagers in Belgium, Amsterdam and Germany wasn't kicking it anymore by the time we hit Paris. I had been to this pub about 13 years ago and always remember it's location next to the Pantheon. Nothing has changed and they have all the ales, stouts, English beers and pale ales you want. It's a nice break to walk into the bar and just order in English and chat with the bartender. Prices weren't cheap but we got what we came for and it's a great place to get when on this side of the Seine.

Yelp
I came here for their weekend English breakfast and the banana bread beer. I made reservations for Sunday at 12:35 and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The interior of this place is authentic English and they have tvs everywhere playing whatever game of the moment. The menus were super cute in a newspaper form. My boyfriend ordered the bombardier club (11€)with a fried egg and I ordered a pint of banana bread beer and the full breakfast (16€) and subbed a hash brown for the black and white pudding. The full breakfast originally comes with a grilled tomato, mushrooms, a hahsbrown, one fried egg, one slice of toast, beans, two sausages, two very English bacon, and a coffee or tea. My boyfriend's club sandwich was your basic club sandwich which came with a side of fries and a small salad. My English breakfast was good but nothing to write home about. The bacon was the bacon no one likes to eat--pink, thick, and fatty. The toast was grilled but burnt. The food was average to below average. The beer was special with a hint of banana. That was worth trying!! Would I come back here? With so many places to eat good food in Paris, no. Our meal came to 34.9€ for two which I find quite cheap!

Yelp
...fun fun fun... just across from the steps of the church where they filmed Midnight in Paris, this hipster bar was energized with plenty of millennials, along with a sprinkle of older. Familiar to most that were there, this place shared an apparent history of being the go to spot. Beer and bar food, laughs and friendship gatherings, dates where fun was in the forefront, this was the night destination spot for many that were here... and fun it is. Bottomline- You owe it to yourself... check this place out! Plus you can walk across the street and take a picture as if you were in the movie - Midnight in Paris.

Cindi F.

Yelp
In Paris for 4 days, visited twice. It's a brewery (!) with a British theme, showing soccer and rugby with an English roast on the Sunday menu. Variety of beers, excellent fish and chips and burger. English spoken here! We had a great time.
google avatar

Yelp
Great London style pub In The heart of Paris. Great place for a drink with friends or satisfying fish and chips craving. Small in size so don't be afraid to share space with strangers.

Yelp
Awesome English pub near the pantheon. We made reservations for half past noon here on a Saturday for a large group birthday brunch and were not disappointed. The traditional English breakfast here is legit!! Even though I had worked up a huge appetite by that point, I wasn't able to finish. Definitely well worth the money. To wash it down, the banana bread beer is the way to go! That was originally how I had discovered this bar, at a beer salon where I had tasted the craft banana bread beer. From that point, I knew I had to come here! They have quite a selection of craft beer on tap, and offer traditional English pub food. You won't regret coming here for sure. Mmm banana bread beer....mmm.....

Yelp
Have been there couple years ago. Loved the vibe of this place. I've made some good friends and the beverages were great. Always returned to start the night there.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I went to watch Liverpool v Man City. I ordered the fish & chips with mushy peas. The plate arrived with no peas. I asked a different member of staff for the peas. The person with whom I placed the order delivered my peas and said to me, 'You wanted extra?'. Around 7:30 pm the aforementioned staff person came up to our table and told us that we should watch our possessions because of thieves. She then went to all the surrounding tables and told them the same thing. We will never go back. I will tell all of my friends to avoid your establishments when traveling in France. What an awful experience!

Yelp
When you decide to drink at the Bombardier, you'll be drinking with a view of the Pantheon. You'll have a chance to stand on the same steps Owen Wilson stood on in Midnight Paris. And you'll be in my favorite arrondissement - the fifth! This place is awesome - so awesome in fact that we found ourselves consistently returning here at the end of the night for one last drink (though I think its proximity to our hotel didn't hurt either). The location is incredibly convenient - the staff wonderful - and the prices decent. While at Bombardier, you can stop using broken French and speak easily with the bartenders and people around you (it's an English pub after all). The space is also great - with both indoor and outdoor seating - you can step out easily with your beer and have a smoke (if that's your thing). They also have TVs so that you can catch that soccer game you refuse to miss even though you are on vacation (Go Chelsea!). In sum, it's a perfectly situated pub amidst the history and splendor that is the Latin Quarter and definitely a place I will return to the next time I'm in Paris!

Yelp
Great place to grab a drink. Friendly bartenders and good crowd. I'll definitely make it here on my next trip.

Yelp
First off I' don't come here to eat. I come here to drink! Ran into the bombardier 2 years ago and discovered the ultimate beer. Remember that scene in Raiders of the lost ark when Indiana Jones is trying to leave the bag of sand in exchange for the idol? That's me trying to leave my backpack full of nothing in exchange for a keg of Young's London stout. The best beer I have ever tasted! Full malty chocolate taste. Have it in an extremely cold mug and it tastes like a milkshake. I never stay on the Left Bank but I make the trek almost every other day to have this delightful beer, sit down and watch the tourists sit on the steps and reenact scene from midnight in Paris. I'd give the bombardier 5 stars but they torture me because they don't let me in until 12 I have to walk around Jardin du Luxembourg for awhile until it's time for me to have my nector! My heart aches knowing Young's London stout is so far away.

Yelp
I ADORED The Bombardier! Super friendly staff, absolutely delicious cider (that I desperately want to import to the U.S.), and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Katie S.

Yelp
I cannot speak for the food here because we only had drinks, but it was really a fun little place in Paris! The evening we were there, they had trivia night (spoken in both French and English, thankfully!). The crowd was fun, and the atmosphere was lively. I would absolutely go visit again.
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
Banana bread beer is delicious! Bartenders are friendly and speak English. It is right next to the Pantheon so you can get it to take away and enjoy the views during sunset. Definitely a memorable view!

Yelp
So I walk into one of the last footholds of civility in Paris; a British Pub near the Pantheon. The bar keep sees me walk up and says in a deep, accented bellow, "now what the hell do you want?" I reply to him, "I want you to insult me again just to hear the Queen's beautiful language you wonderful bastard- all I've heard the past two days is French rubbish." He smiles and says, "well then, what the fuck are you drinking?" The drinking binge that ensued saw cheering and bell banging in honor of Chelsea's win over Portugual among a lively, jubilant crowd. I definitely enjoyed the break from having to use broken French and finger pointing for the previous two days. I recommend any English speaking person take a "vacation" here for at least a few hours and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus, men aren't sharing bathrooms with women or pissing into a hole in the ground like you'll see at many French drinking/clubbing establishments.

Yelp
Four stars solely for the fact that they carry hand-pumped cask ale. Outside of that, it is a definite ex-pat (and potential touristy) pub. But it is still a pub. Warm, relaxed, with simple English style fare, TVs tuned to various sports channels, and trivia nights advertised. It is located spitting distance from a college or two, and understandably they are playing to that market. Stick to the beer and mixed drinks - you may be in France, but the Bombadier has decided to thumb its nose and offer only boxed wine. You don't ask for Bordeaux, Burgundy or Alsace - you ask for 'red' or 'white'. That's okay - I needed a beer to break it up anyway! Aside from the hand-drawn cask ale? The indoor-outdoor space (the front walls are windows that open on the square) which looks out onto Saint-Etienne-du-Mont and the Pantheon. There are tons of amazing views and settings in Paris - this just happens to be one of them.

Yelp
Proper pub!!! Thanks to a friend's advice this is where I ended up at nights after dinner watching Premiership games. The place is really perfect. Very friendly and fun bartenders, good beers, and a nice Apple jack. Pantheon lit up in night lights outside of the cozyy windows. go Gunners

Yelp
A legit Pub in Paris! This place was great. We ran into The Bombardier while visiting the Pantheon and we decided to go in for a drink. It's located next to the Saint Geneviève, you can't miss it. Great place for a beer or two. The bartender was gorgeous and she was so nice! Always a plus. We walked around the area afterward - loved it.

Yelp
An English pub in Paris. Right next to Saint-Etienne even. My friends, the "American locals" led us here after a fun walk that went most of the way down Champs Elysees, then back, then across the river, then around Saint-Germain-des-Pres. In other words, it was basically time to sit down. Being happy hour, the beers were not too outrageously priced--everything in Paris food-wise is better than Berlin but also 3x the money, it seems--and quite good. Strangely, the bartender even translated American automatically: my friend asked for "chips" and got what the British usually call "crisps". We hung around for a little while, speculated as to whether the corner across from the bar plays a prominent role in "Midnight in Paris" and then headed back for vegan Thanksgiving dinner.

Yelp
This English pub, if not a genuine one, has a lot of positive aspects. It has a perfect location, just next to the Pantheon and the Saint-Etienne du Mont church. When the weather is ok, people sit under the sun holding a pint of usual lager or, even better, a real (now it's a genuine one) English Ale. A unbeatable location, genuine English Ale (it's quite rare to find one in Paris) and plenty of nice people with whom you can easily chat... What else do you need? P.S: I forgot to mention the darts, the quizzes and other games which take place regularly at the Bombardier. Have fun!

Yelp
Closed until further notice for renovations. Would have been nice of them to post that on their website (or on here, or on Google Maps, or Facebook). Otherwise, what really is the point of a website. Don't waste your time.

Yelp
I got the chance to stop here with a local guy. A colonel's reserve was picked out for me. I was very happy with the atmosphere, and the staff was very kind. We sat outside and people watched, and drank happily until we had had enough! Can't wait to return!
google avatar

Lizzie S L.

Yelp
This is my favorite English pub in Paris! I went there for the first time to watch Euro Cup finale back in the summer (they have 3 TVs), and I continued to stop by later on because of the delicious drinks, friendly bartenders, great ambience, and most importantly, the perfect location. It's by the corner of Le Panthéon, steps away from le Jardin du Luxembourg, and right across from the corner of where Gil Pender gets picked up in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. I miss this place a lot and wish I can go back there soon!
google avatar

Ivan O.

Yelp
Un superbe English Pub avec d'excellentes bières! L'atmosphère est des plus conviviales quoique parfois trop bondé... Cependant il y a de la place sur la terrasse :)

Yelp
One of the many English pubs of Paris, but definitely one of the best. Great drinks: beers, but also awesome cocktails, great atmosphere, great location, great staff, etc.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
Decent beverages at decent prices. A definite go-to happy hour spot for those working and going to school in the heart of the 5ème.

J K.

Yelp
The place bombed. Really rude bartender, no fun. Food was terrible! The French fries were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for hours. Burgers were nothing to write home about.
google avatar

Cynthia R.

Yelp
Nice English pub in Paris. I like how they let you taste their drinks before ordering.

Yelp
Def a fan of this pub. Went here for the end of the month class meet up from Alliance Francaise. The layout is nice, and we were able to grab an outside table. The bartenders were awesome. I still remember that I went up to the bar and asked, "vous avez un menu du vin". Yes, it was only my first month of language class. After telling me they don't have a menu, I pointed to a bunch of wine behind the bar, "ehhhh c'est quoi ca?". He switched to English and asked if I wanted white or red. It would be red for the rest of the long evening. Each time going up to the packed bar, the bartender called me out by name, asking if I was ready for another bottle. Location is nice and service was always great. Man I miss my school days over there.....
google avatar

Danielle B.

Yelp
I went on a Tuesday night desperate to have a conversation in English and it was great. It wasn't too busy, but there was a good mix of people including English speakers..though I noticed all British, none American which surprised me for some reason. Both the bartenders I encountered were incredibly friendly and I had great service. Highly recommend for an English break in Paris.
google avatar

Caitlin M.

Yelp
Great place to get a pint after touring the Pantheon. Friendly staff and airy, spacious pub. Not sure what it is like at night but around 4p or 5p it was a great chillout spot.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Great British pub in Paris. We drank for an hour and then had some food at 6 when the kitchen opened. The fried fish was a tad soggy but otherwise a great dinner and pub experience. Beers were delicious and staff was incredibly friendly. Will come back.

Chambiges S.

Yelp
What's not to love? Solid fish and chips, huge variety of delicious beers on tap, and great ambiance. It's also located in Place du Panthéon so the views are spectacular. Great happy hour prices for Paris and a student menu for 12€ that includes their signature fish and chips or cheeseburger and a soda. Service is friendly, great bar staff, and efficient. 10€ minimum if paying by card. In short, this is a super chill place--a nice reprieve when you need a little break from Paris. Highly recommended.

Hannah L.

Yelp
I haven't eaten here, but it was a fun place to grab a drink watch a soccer game.

Yelp
The banana bread beer is délicieux. Lovely, warm and cozy pub vibes. Set in a great surrounding area for exploring by foot. And the some decent fish and chips. If only they had mushy peas on the side!

Ted S.

Yelp
Great location. Terrific selection of British beers. Friendly, efficient staff. Good place to watch a football game. We drop in every trip to Paris. For Canadians it is like a side trip to the UK

I spent many a sleepless nights here. Great atmosphere

Yelp
Best place in Paris With Red Stripe at only 20F a pint between 4pm and 9pm, The Simpsons in English, and fact that you can make friends in here as strangers actually talk to each other, you can't really ask for much more. Personally, I adore the place

Cityvox User (forest…)

Yelp
By the Panthéon This is a really mellow, relaxing English pub with cheap beer. The staff are friendly and the seats are really comfortable. A lot of people come here to play darts.

Yelp
The most real English pub in Paris! If you want cask beer, go here, they have proper Bombardier Cask, and it is GOOD! Sad they don't serve food anymore (except Walkers crisps!).

Yelp
A great place to watch Premier League games! Make sure you try their banana bread beer!
