The Bonniebrook Lodge

Fantastic stay and it is a beautiful location across from the beach. We had a very spacious and lovely room in the garden suite. Loved the meal at their restaurant, one of the best we have ever had and we travel to eat good food. The waitress was absolutely lovely. I can't say enough about this place.

Spent two months so far staying here during the week for work. The location provides a stunning ocean view either from the rooms (depending on which room you have) or otherwise they have a small private oceanfront garden. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained and the service has been great.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite with ocean view and had a lovely time. The room itself, whilst a bit dated, was very comfortable and spacious. Sadly due to the age of the building there is no ac, which wasn‘t an issue, as you could keep the windows open and listen to the sea. Staff was very acommodating and helped us with our luggage (the room was on the first floor and there‘s no elevator). Inside the room there’s a large Jacuzzi, which along with the rest of the room was in good working order and very clean. The restaurant located downstairs is exellent and definitely worth a visit. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Great view and food/service at the on-site restaurant were superb. Unfortunately, we hadn’t realized how far away we were from any other restaurant or a grocery store. We arrived with no supplies. Even with snacks, there were no dishes or utensils. Shared sink for bathroom/kitchenette. Room definitely needs a refresh/upgrade. Very tired and dated furnishings. They didn’t offer breakfast and there was no room service, so suggest having a meal plan in place before arrival. Lots of weddings in local vicinity and noise was a real issue late at night. No AC, which was fine this weekend but last week would have been unbearable!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay here. Stayed in the garden suite that felt like our own house. Staff were super nice, especially Lee that served us for dinner and went above and beyond to help us with drinks for our room. Look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful rooms. Spacious and wonderful decor. Great seaside view and you can't beat a jacuzzi tub. Chasters restaurant is excellent. Haven't had this fine quality food in a long time. It was very special to be able to walk down inside stairs to the restaurant right beside our room door.

We ended up choosing this place to be married! We wanted a cozy, intimate wedding, and this was the perfect location. We had stayed once before in one of the garden suites, and have eaten there many times. It has the perfect combination of being able to stay there, eat there, and have a wedding on the beach! The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and have beautiful views. The garden suites allow pets, which was a bonus! The restaurant and gardens are gorgeous, and the grassy lawn beside the beach belongs to them too, for outdoor ceremonies. We had ours outside, and if you have a summer wedding you could also eat outside(although the restaurant is beautiful). All staff there have always been super attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We had a few different dietary requirements such as Vegan and Gluten-Free, and they were very happy to work it all out. They helped arrange everything and made sure it was easy! Five stars all the way, definitely recommend!!

Second visit with my wife. Staff who checked us in and helped us to carry luggage was very friendly. They do not offer full housekeeping service due to the virus and we do understand that. When We go out we left the used towels outside of the room and staff had new towels ready at my door When we back. The room was clean and comfortable. The ocean is just on street away from our balcony.||Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dine in on Wednesday, but they do offer take out which is cheaper and have bigger portion. Same chef, gorgeous meal. Got a free desert for our anniversary. We were surprised that take out food could have such great presentation.||Great experience and my wife and I will come back next year.

Wonderful location, wonderful rooms. Great - world class - restaurant. Will write more when after we go back to Chasters, the restaurant.

Great place, clean, nice location. Right across the road from the ocean. We'd stay here again for sure.

Gorgeous property. A restored historic building. We stayed in the East Penthouse suite (queen suite) and it was beautiful. Karen who checked us in was helpful and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, with a queen bed, corner Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, couch, tv, fireplace, and even a balcony. Though the balcony was quite small. We had separate access via a shared door put the front of the building. Not 5 stars because the bed was older and not very comfy (you could tell it had an older springs mattress) and you could hear the comings and goings of others staying at the lodge. Also the natural gas fireplace made an alarming loud popping sound when it turned on which made us jump several times and woke us up. It has a lovely view of the ocean and is walking distance to a nice beach. Short drive to shops and restaurants. The building itself is so nice to look at and well restored. Could not hear any noises from the kitchen/restaurant Chasters which was right below us. I would stay here again. It would be great for summer.
