My son is a huge DogMan fan, and he’s been counting down the days for the new book’s release in Australia. He knew it was going to come out this week, but after checking three different shops, we still couldn’t find it. Then, by chance, we walked past The Bookshop Darwin and to my son’s surprise, the book was right there on the shelf. I was willing to pay full price, but the kind staff member asked my son to read something first. To our surprise, they explained the store has “pay it forward” vouchers, and my son was gifted a $15 one. In the end, we paid less than $10 for the book, wbelow the usual price. Thank you so much for this wonderful gesture. You truly made my son’s day, and it’s something he won’t forget. 💜

Staff was super welcoming, shelves stacked with books and souvenirs galore. Loved the vibe and especially the staff member rocking vintage 70s pants from his dad’s wardrobe in Europe. That quirky touch captured the rich culture and character of The Bookshop Darwin.
