This a lovely place to have a meal and met friends to chat and update. I liked the ambient and the renovated place preserving the rustic original building. Very clever! Beside the architectural applause... the food is delicious! I loved the extraodinary combination of ingredients. Looks simple, but in the mouth you discover its complexity. My compliments to the chef and kitchen staff!

Very nice place for a brunch. The food is not too bad, unfortunately the service is very slow. Yesterday wasn’t even that full or busy, and we waited 45 min to order despite asking several time to the staff. Once we’ve ordered the rest of the service was not bad, everything went well.

Overall nice for a drink, but that’s it. I dealt with five different girls during my visit and, honestly, only one of them was truly kind and actually handled a booking issue that had come up. As for the food… I’d rather not dwell on it, but I ordered the chicken and the truffle fries with parmesan. I’m pretty sure the cheese was old, because those fries kept me up all night. The chicken was loaded with garlic, and the fries didn’t taste like truffle at all. Waiting time from the order placement to the actual dinner: 50 min Not the worst experience, but definitely not what I expected. At least the drink was good

Fun, creative bar tenders who are happy to create off menu. Cocktails great! … food ok.

The food was really really poor for the price. Not sure what happened but the turkish eggs (£14 - pictured) were just 2 eggs in yoghurt with less than one slice of possibly the thinnest toast i’ve ever seen 😅 We also ordered the granola bowl which at £9, was just a bowl of plain yoghurt with a small amount of compote and then a dusting of granola that was gone in 2 bites. We are not big eaters but we left hungry. It’s a shame because the setting is lovely and the staff are great!

Loved the vibe of this place. Came here with a couple of friends on a work evening to catch up. Quality of food was great, the server was very friendly and had a good attention to detail. We were able to stay for a long time aswell to just chill and have a gossip (which i absolutely love because some restaurants will ask you to leave so they can have the table even if it isnt busy).

Bad experience, table of 8, I had the cod with a side of potatoes. The cods and some other mains came out but it was a long wait for anything else, it was roughly 15 minutes wait between the first meals coming out and the rest. My main was cold when the side arrived. No offer of anything to make up for this when we complained. The waiting staff blamed the size of the kitchen. While still waiting for the balance of the order, I popped to the loo and on my way noticed that the kitchen had some small plates ready for another table, which suggests it might not be the size of the kitchen that's the issue.

Disappointing! This venue has gone downhill loads since it originally opened. (We had returned there for breakfast.) There is limited menu choice, especially for vegetarians. Service was slow, food uninteresting, poor value and inadequate in presentation. Nb, the venue was inadequately heated. We won’t be going back, as it’s all decor over substance.
