SEATING ARRANGEMENT & SERVICE : ( 4/ 5 )
This restaurant is located in between the Irish house and soy. The restaurant is divided in two section with indoor being the AC and outdoor with coolers. Decor is fantastic and lighting is good. The have both normal as well as high chair seating arrangements. Bar is well stocked. Special thanks to Attende ; Mr. Pritesh for explaining briefly about the menu & suggesting the same.
We started with Drinks like,
CRUMB FOUNDED : ( 4 /5 )
Drink having foundation of inhouse chocolate chip cookie crumb along with Irish whiskey & orange bitter and then infused with flamed star anise in front of you. The thing is for the first 3/4 of the drink you wont find a kick but gradually at the end, you get some good kick thanks to the crushed chocolate chip cookie crumb which settles at the bottom & gets infused with the whiskey.
BACON BEACHCOMBER: ( 3 /5 )
Basically its White rum and yuzu liquor infused with inhouse smoked bacon. Not much of a strong drink.
Then We had
HOUSE LARDER BOARD - CHARCUTERIE : ( 2 /5 )
Try this dish only if you don’t care about the portion size as you will be very disappointed by the same. The ratings for this are only for the taste. Now, when you select the Board from charcuterie - you have the option to pick any three from the Board menu as mains which will be later accompanied with their inhouse mini sides like a spoon of chive cheese cream, carnival peanuts, marinated pinto beans, house ferments, baked yam chips etc. We decided to have all non-veg board so selected the
1)nduja style chicken pate ( its basically chicken liver finely minced along with herbs and spice to give it a creamy spread like texture - served in small see through glass jar ) ,
2)42 days dry aged pork pepperoni ( very thinly sliced ) &
3)63 days dry cured & aged pork gabagool ( basically its the meat cut from the shoulder & neck - and its very thinly sliced )
On taste wise, its great.
7 Hrs LOW & SLOW SMOKED PORK RIBS : ( 4 /5 )
Select anything from the smoker sections and you will be pleased. This Pork ribs were tender and would come of the bones without much effort. Had good amount of glazing and served along with Buttered toast, Tomato Bbq based beans, slaw and house ferments. Great taste.
JAMBALAYA : ( 4.5 /5 )
This dish is a bit spicy. Now here, brown rice is prepared with chicken stock, tomatoes, Cajun seasoning, onions , garlic, celery, pepper along with 3 pieces of shrimps, Finely sliced sausage pieces and 3pieces of Clam. Taste really good.
Moving on the desserts,
We tried
FRESHLY BAKED SKILLET - CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE WITH INHOUSE ICECREAM ( 5 / 5 )
Even if you don’t have any sides or mains, do order this. This is something you just cant miss. A freshly prepared Chocolate chip cookie with chocolate stuffing inside & is placed in skillet. It is garnished with 3 scoops of inhouse ice cream like vanilla, Toffee caramel and chocolate. Not only the cookie tasted great but the inhouse ice creams were superb. No artificial flavours & I personally preferred the Toffee ice cream.
