This bar looks very dark and chic, and the chandelier is my favorite part! You can see it from the outside through the wide open windows - so beautiful when it's lit up in red. They have great selection of Belgium and other European beers and their drink specials are delicious, but pricey. The wine is also pretty popular. This is a great date spot.

I love this place :) the quirky chandelier caught our attention when we walked by 30min before they closed. It was the last bar we we went to before we called it a night. The bartender was fun to talk to and she was very sweet. She didn't seem annoyed that we stayed there til the last minute. The service was great because we were the only ones in there.The kitchen was closed so I couldn't order their cheese/meat plate. Great relaxing ambience with good music. My friends ordered a glass of port and they loved it. Felt like a great way to end my first and only night in NY :) TY East Village for a memorable night (yes I remember everything)! I am def coming back when I'm in NY again!!

Delicious champagne cocktails. My friend and I got there before it opened and enjoyed about half an hour of quiet before the place filled up. Lovely dark décor. It's a great spot for a romantic date or an intimate group of friends.

This is one of my favorite spots I rarely visit - just because it ends up pricey overall and no reservations (painful since it's a perfect date spot though you'll likely be hit by a wait). I'm a fan of the four cheese fondue - served with toast, roasted potatoes, and assorted veggies. The bisque fondue with shrimp, crab, and cheddar in a lobster bisque is great, but a bit heavier than straight up cheese. For dessert, don't miss the white chocolate with Elderflower fondue. Amazing. If they have their watermelon sangria, highly recommend as well. So good!

Very cozy atmosphere. But a little disappointed, not the biggest wine selection. Not as much variety as you would expect. The service was great though, our server was super nice and quick with good recommendations for what they had.

Fondue!! Their French Onion fondue was delicious, as was the baked brie in phyllo. We went on a Monday and all of the bottles of wine were 50% off. The service is slow, but go with good friends and you won't notice. Will definitely be back.

This is by far one of my favorite spots in all of New York. It also makes for a great first date place as well. The small and intimate setting is accompanied by great wines and very knowledgeable servers. Monday and Tuesday are half price wine nights if you are looking to snag a bottle for yourself too!

I used to love it when it was in their old really small location. I still love their cocktails and the mood, but it gets pretty loud inside. If you don't mind that or you go on a slow night or at odd hours, highly highly recommended.
