We’ve stayed at The Bower five times over the past five years, and it’s become our absolute go-to spot for our annual book club getaway. We always book the Cottage, and the house is just WOW, beautifully designed, aesthetically stunning, and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. Our afternoons are usually spent lounging by the mineral pool (which we adore), with cocktails delivered right to us by the wonderful Bower team. It honestly feels like such a treat every single time. The location is another big reason we keep coming back. It’s just a 10–15 minute walk to the beach, which is perfect after a delicious meal in town, it feels so nice to stroll back to our little retreat. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit in 2026!

We were lucky to get an upgrade to the king suite (18) everything was perfect. Lovely warm welcome and great room - really tastefully decorated to create a relaxing ambiance. Loved the freestanding bathtub and comfortable bed. The pool area is super and although there is some refurbishment happening it didn’t impact us at all. Short walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Would highly recommend.

We booked The Bower Cottage for our wedding weekend and couldn’t have been happier. The service was fantastic - the team were proactive with communication, even texting us if anything came up, which made everything feel effortless. The cottage itself was even better than the photos, so tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel special. When we arrived, there was a bottle of sparkling and a personalised note waiting for us - such a lovely touch that made the weekend feel even more special. The property is stunning, with a gorgeous pool that our guests loved. Many of our wedding guests also stayed at The Bower and had the same wonderful experience. The location is perfect - just outside of town for peace and privacy, but still an easy walk to everything. We were so sad to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone wanting style, comfort, and exceptional service in Byron Bay. ⭐ 5/5 – Absolutely perfect stay.

Tucked away behind lush greenery, this accommodation with professional staff is unique. The heated Magnesium Pool with the large fluffy white towels great for wellness. The location near The General Store with delicious coffee is convenient. Very quiet ambience.

A wonderful location, great facilities including a heated magnesium pool and fantastic staff. Would definitely recommend staying there. It's also well located next yo the Byron Bay General Store for great food and coffees.

The only place we stay when we come to Byron! ||This little hotel is fantastic. We stayed in the Barn for that added bit of space and luxury while travelling up from Sydney for a wedding. The staff here are exceptional, as are the amenities. The pool is a great place to hang on those hot, muggy days.

We stayed in the Cottage at The Bower; absolute perfection. Spacious, lovely interior, great beds. There is very little space for your clothes, just a rail. There are bicycles to use, great for getting around Byron Bay. The pool is wonderful. The Bower does not have a restaurant, but there's a great place right next door for breakfast. We loved it. Only negative I can mention is that there is no staff on the premises at night. There was a power failure on our first night, we called the phone nr but there was nothing they could do to help. Power went on again after 20 minutes or so.

Had 3 nights here, was a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful room and amenities, great staff. Unfortunately it was too wet for me to use the pool which looked amazing but maybe next time……!||Bed was super comfortable and even though it’s on the main rd the noise level wasn’t bad at all.||Also an easy walk into town
