Second time we’ve stayed here & did not disappoint. Our room was spacious & clean. The breakfast buffet was always fresh, and staff was wonderful. The hot chocolate machine in lobby is not to be missed! Great location to Deer Valley. Complimentary car service to the slopes and restaurants is an added bonus.

The good - the food was excellent! Some of the best in the area The ok - service was slow although I’m not sure it was our waiter’s fault. He was very nice but seemed to be covering too many large parties. The ugly - the hostess was rude and nasty right off the bat. We walked over from silver baron in the middle of a snow storm with 2 young kids on a Thursday night. She scoffed at me that we didn’t have a reservation because “they’re just doing so well every night you must have one” (note the restaurant was half empty) she then told us we could wait 30 min and then said we could have a table if we were out in an hour for her next reservation. Half way through our meal she began pacing near us to “make sure we’d be done” Her whole demeanor was very unwelcoming and unlike all of the wonderful people we have met in deer valley. When I told her we couldn’t wait 30 minutes with hungry kids her response was “this is how it work when restaurants are full” we really loved the food and would likely come back here if not for the bad taste she left in our mouth.

Came with adult kids and stayed in a three bedroom condo unit|Wonderful |Front desk helpful and friendly|Morning breakfast buffet well stocked and plenty of options |Evening apres ski with snacks drinks and casual seating , also with friendly staff with a warm vibe|The minibus and car service to the slopes and out to Park city were easy to arrange on the downloadable app|The unit itself was large and the entire building is quiet |Didn’t use the pool but both the in condo outdoor tub and one by the pool were clean and hot.|Loved it all!!

We were on the 2nd floor in a 1 bedroom condo. We had our own hot tub and 2 full bathrooms. Very clean and looks like it was just remodeled . Appliances looked they were never used. Comfortable bed great bedding. Lots of towels. Everything we needed. Hot Breakfast was 7-10 every morning and apres at 4-5:30. Shuttle to snow park ski area made getting to and from hill very easy. We love Deer Valley and this was the best place we have stayed in over the past 15 years. Staff was wonderful very kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Our server Analese was awesome! Finally a server that was smiling and attentive from the beginning. Food was excellent. Beet salad is a must and our party of 6 ordered 4 pizzas and they were all great! Willow, the manager, checked on us twice. Again, a happy person, they was fun to talk to. She told us the crust is sour dough based and made in house fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We came here for dinner. Service was a bit slow. Thankfully the food and drinks were great. Nice outdoor deck. Overall, we enjoyed our dining experience.

Yelp
First of all, the server had to read the special off of a note pad! C'mon man! Really? How hard is it to remember one special - especially one that you said was so good? The place was dead in a Friday night, which had us worried the minute we walked in. There was only one other table at 7:30 pm! The Calamari was good but WAY too salty. Couldn't eat more than half of it. The chicken Parmesan was tasty and the extra side of pasta was perfectly textured and cooked with a red sauce. Apparently they make their pasta from scratch on the daily. We had to ask for water twice. You'd think that when there is only one other table in the entire restaurant that it would be easy to keep patrons' water glasses full - but apparently it was too much of a chore. It's a nice place with music playing too loud for how empty the restaurant was. They also had a burned out light in one of their sconces. Lack of attention to the little things. The hostess was pretty blah - no energy or personality to welcome you in. Just matter of fact take you to the table.

Yelp
The staff, largely new, is lovely and efficient. The setting is cozy and intimate. Photos on reviews need to be updated. Some of those items are no longer available. We live nearby and really want to love this restaurant, but the corkage fee is $50, and drink prices are on the high side. Pizzas are very good; other entrees OK, but expensive for what they are. Order pizza here, and you will be happy.

Yelp
Tried Brass Tag because it was one of the few DV restaurants we'd never been to. Now I know why. It was the most HORRIBLE restaurant experience I've ever had in Park City/Deer Valley. Every meal ordered by our party of 7 was inedible, from the $68 steak that couldn't be "sawed through" with a steak knife; $42 salmon was fishy; pizza arrived at the table with blackened burnt edges - cold and cardboard hard; the duck was oversalted, etc. Our server, who politely apologized and took replacement orders, disappeared. The only staff coming over were those who bussed plates of inedible or half eaten food. About 40 minutes later and no "replacement" food arriving, we flagged down another member of the wait staff and asked for our check. It began a 10 minute process of "negotiating" what would be eliminated from our bill with incremental "management credits" (vs. taking items off etc) -- awkward and inappropriate. Just as we were getting ready to leave, (about another 15 minutes later), one pizza came in a "to go" box -- which we did not accept). In any other situation, especially in this upscale community, the manager or chef would have profusely apologized and likely comped the meal. If I could give this establishment negative 5 stars, I would.

Yelp
Just okay. Ordered the butter poached steak medium rare...not great quality and over cooked. For $68, pretty overpriced. Service was average. First time, will be last time.

David S.

Yelp
The bolognese was ok, but the sauce on the duck was very over-salted and over-seasoned. Service was great, very pleasant ambience.

Yelp
Drove all the way an hour away here for my dads birthday dinner and can say I was not disappointed! Food here was great. I got the salad that had beet, goat cheese, and orange. The steak was great as well and the chimichurri with the red pepper purée was great. From where I was seated I could see the chefs plating and making our food and it was a sweet process to see. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked about the menu. Good place for a casual date night dinner

Yelp
Ate here recently and very sad to report they are now using the pre-packaged gluten-free pizza crust vs their own.

Yelp
Random find inside of a lodge but well worth it. They sat us next to a window with a gorgeous view & were speedy and kind. The cheese fondu was so good. It doesn't look like a lot of food but with appetizers and drinks, it's more than enough. We did not have room for dessert! I recommend.

Yelp
We have been here multiple times...excellent food and excellent customer service! They did change a while back to a more Italian menu. At first I was disappointed but after our last visit to town, we were ok with it. The pizza is good. Their pasta is delicious! Love this place!

Yelp
We had a very early reservation set to celebrate our best friends engagement while visiting in park city and we were so let down. When we arrived to the restaurant (which was empty) we asked if we could get a drink at the bar while we wait for the rest of the group. We were rudely told no and to sit in the dingy lobby. When it came to the time of our reservation were told that they would no longer seat us and to find somewhere else to go. They still charged our credit card for the holding of the reservation even though we were sent away. We were extremely polite to all staff but only received poor hospitality in return. If you're looking to visit a fun and friendly environment this is not the place.

Yelp
It kind of hurts my soul to give this dining establishment one star, because in all fairness, they deserve none. My coworkers and I came here for our Management Retreat Celebration dinner, and were massively disappointed at pretty much the entire experience. The menu was small, so between our party of 15, we ordered every single entree... and somehow they managed to mess up every single one. About 30 minutes after placing our order, our hostess came back to let us know that they were out of the steak and the salmon so half the table would have to change their selections. She then proceeded to call our company owner a motherf*cker as an attempted joke that was in very poor taste (there's a huge difference between cussing around someone rather than AT someone). After half our party changed their order, we had to wait about an hour and a half for entrees to come out, and they all came out at different times. I ordered the salmon special with lobster rice. The salmon was oversalted and fully raw on the inside and the few pieces of lobster were rubbery and very fishy. My boyfriend got chicken pasta, the chicken was dry as a bone and the pasta was flavorless. Everyone ordered their steak medium and got grey steak that was super well done. BONUS: somehow they "found" additional steaks and brought them to our table without us asking for them. We also got a bunch of other random extra food delivered that we never ordered. All of this extra food was inedible and barely picked at. To our complete surprise, we were actually charged for all of the unordered food. Out of 15 diners, not one plate was finished. Big yikes all around... avoid this place at all costs and go to Edge, where you'll be fully pleased rather than thoroughly disappointed.

Yelp
A group of 4 of us ate here for dinner about a month ago. We had the Smoked Margherita pizza, the Meat Lover's Pizza, Three Meat Bolognese, the Chicken Saltimbocca and the Cast Iron Cookie Skillet for dessert. All the food was Ahmazing and the service was incredible. All the staff worked together in a seamless way. This was by far the best restaurant experience any of us have had since the pandemic. Definitely a MUST repeat whenever we are back in town!

Hannah D.

Yelp
If you want good service go somewhere else the waitresses paid no attention to their tables and when we got our cold and soggy food they just dismissed it. Also have to park across the street so if there is any weather you have to walk through huge puddles. We were the girls only table and we still got this $30 burger that we were unable to pick up it had sat so long.

Ava B.

Yelp
Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews- I had a lovely experience there. The service is definitely slow during holidays, but that is expected. They were doing a LOT of takeout orders. The food itself was great. I'd recommend the bolognese (it was DELISH) and the margarita pizza the most. We also loved the burger and the steak entrees. The pesto pizza had a citrus-y taste to it and the arugula one had too much garlic (it was mostly garlic) for my taste, so I didn't LOVE them but those are personal preferences. Overall a good experience here.
google avatar

David A.

Yelp
Nothing too special here. It was OK. So so service on an afternoon where things were not really all that busy. Not a ton of creativity with the food, but good. Not sure if I'd go again.

Sally N.

Yelp
My family came for dinner before the concert. Sitting outside was lovely and our server was very polite. Not sure why the negative reviews. Homemade pasta and pizza dough made daily. The pesto hazelnut pasta was out of this world. We also had the Caesar Salad with homemade polenta croutons. Our family will be back

Blake R.

Yelp
I would not recommend the food was not that good and the beer was flat. Don't waist your time here go somewhere else

Lily O.

Yelp
Don't come here, they don't want you anyway. Service and hospitality is not a priority here. Look elsewhere if you want to have a good dinner with friends after a day on the mountains. Even if you have a reservation, you won't get treated with respect.

Yelp
It was a rather disappointing experience. Food was mediocre and very pricey for what you get! Came here one night for dinner after a long day of riding. The restaurant was empty at 8pm which seemed unusual. We ordered some appetizers to share and then each ordered an entree. The food was very mediocre, both in taste and presentation. I got the lamb burger which was suppose to be their signature item, and it was quite disappointing. The lamb patty was very gamey, provided I really love lamb meat, and it was dry. The pita bread was a nice twist. The pickle was bitter. Service was nice and attentive. The chef came out to greet everyone, which was nice. But overall a pretty mediocre experience all in all.

Yelp
The dining area was nice. The avocado fries were delicious. The pretzel was meh. The short rib was over done, the pizza was ok and the pork chop was fine. I really wanted everything to just be better for the location & price tag. The drinks were great! The service was very good. The food was not memorable. I just wanted more from this place.

Yelp
Disappointed We have lived here in Park City for years and never ate here so we decided to finally try it last night. Walking in I felt like we were in an old, tired hotel restaurant from the 80's. Oh wait we were. Who still has carpet in a restaurant?!? That's just nasty. I would give the ambience one star. The menu was limited and more expensive then the 3 money signs it has. My husband got the $52 steak which was prepared well and was tasty but my small $25 plate of pasta Bolognese was dry. I asked for a side of marinara sauce to help it out. All in all the staff was wonderful, the food was prepared well and good but not great. The restaurant itself is tired and in desperate need of updating and the prices are your typical overpriced tourist fees which I wouldn't mind paying if I felt like I was in a Swanky NY eatery and not at a Sizzler. All in all we won't return ‍

Yelp
This dining experience was substandard in the high price category. I had the New York Strip for $37 that came with their fresh cut french fries and broccoli. Temperature - The steak was warm on the cold side. The fries were flat out cold and soggy, and the broccoli was cold and way undercooked, even by al dente standards. Taste - The steak was tough, and taste was bland, perhaps because it was near cold. The broccoli was very tough. The steak knife was used as a saw to cut through. Service - Food was delivered timely, and service was okay. Perhaps their top chef and team are in place during peak season. But for a September dining experience, don't waste your money.

Yelp
Lodge experience! Super great food, and super friendly servers. Ignore the bad reviews this place is worth it!

Yelp
amazing service from everyone shoutout Willow for making my girl Katelyn's birthday so special food and drinks were great thank you!!!

Yelp
Last night I came with a group of Fourteen people. It took a little while for them to take drink and appetizer orders. It took even longer for them to come for our main food order. A half hour after taking our main food order they came back saying they were out of two menu items and most of our party had to reorder something else. More than two hours after being seated our food finally arrives. The food was either overdone, under done, or completely dry. The amount of food left on the table uneaten was laughable. Only two of the people got what they ordered. They brought out extra food we didn't order and charged us for it. We went in there with the expectation of a fancy fun, and delicious experience. We came out of it hungry and disappointed at the gross entrees and ridiculously slow service. The server even sweared at us... using the vulgar swear about my mother. They offered to take 100 dollars off the bill. They then offered to cut the bill in half. When they ran the card they only took off 30 percent. This atmosphere seemed nice, but man, this place was shady and disappointing. If I could give it zero stars I would.

I G.

Yelp
Ok. Nice waitress and attentive. Ordered bolognese which was dry and cold. They took it back and brought out another still dry. Ok but not very accommodating. Charge you to sample wines before you order- said Utah Law. Hmm didn't have that at another restaurant

Alise C.

Yelp
Used Open Table for reservation and was able to be seated earlier, which was nice. Buffalo wings app was amazing. Salmon and Filet were very good. Family friendly, good service. Food took about 30 mins to come out but worth it.

Yelp
Excellent experience! I love the cozy ambience of the restaurant. Service was wonderful as well. We had a last minute reservation for 2 on NYE. Amanda and Andrew the manager took great care of us. The avocado fries are a must try!

Yelp
one word .. MEH. Service was excellent, but for the price of the food/location of the restaurant and what the food tastes like, I would rather dine elsewhere. I have got to say though, if you have a child, you're in luck. They pulled out 3 ipads for the kiddos and they were entertained and didn't whine or complain the whole night. Basically the highlight of the evening. My hubby and I ordered the chicken soup, veggie hash and the margherita pizza. The chicken soup was excellent .. they should just call it ramen since it's ramen noodles and tasted more like a ramen vs. a typical american chicken noodle soup. Which leads me to our next issue. Ramen has a different taste vs. italian pasta. Our picky child eats butter noodles not butter ramen. She wasn't happy. The pizza was okay, I wouldn't recommend it or order it again though. The veggie hash was good, I would get that again. Our friends weren't too thrilled either. One ordered the lamb burger. You order burger you think you're getting a bun, but since it was Mediterranean he got pita which I don't think he would have ordered if he knew it came with pita (not specified on the menu). He said it was dry. His wife ordered a rose and said it was horrible and old tasting, she took one sip and didn't bother drinking the rest. I travel to Park City three to four times a year, there are a lot better restaurants in the area (Main Street if you want to stay at Deer Valley go to Mariposa) for the same money spent. If you're staying nearby nothing beats the convenience, but when transportation is also free and easily accessible, try other restaurants other than this one.

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Brass Tag. The gnocchi and papardelle were phenomenal. All the appetizers were delicious as well. The staff was so friendly, especially Andrew, the general manager. A cozy and warm atmosphere! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
New menu! Beautiful Italian food! Pasta bolognese, puttanesca, hand tossed pizza, and cannoli!

Melinda E.

Yelp
The food insert in a local magazine had an entirely different menu than what we were offered at the restaurant. Food was par. Wines by the glass expensive and nothing special.

Melinda A.

Yelp
NEW MENU IS A BUST!! We are Empire Pass homeowners and have been eating at Brass Tag for 8 years now! It has been (up until last night), one of our very favorites in Deer Valley! We go as a family and take all of our friends and family several times on each trip we make here...4-6x a year! Last night we sat down to find that our old menu is now gone....In it's place a very limited "Italian style" menu, including pizza, pasta and salads... To say we were disappointed is an understatement, but the courteous staff apologized and reassured us that we would be thrilled with their selections. They couldn't have been nicer, or more wrong. They ruined a simple Wedge Salad by pouring a quart of olive oil on top of it, and then crumbling 1/4 of a piece of day old hard bacon and tasteless blue cheese on top... my grilled shrimp tasted like it had been quickly seared from being frozen. My husband ordered the special steak and asked for NO CHEESE in his salad appetizer. The app came with no cheese, but the salad on his dinner plate was LOADED with cheese!! Seriously??! Just doesn't make any sense. The $38 plate of Papardelle was the kicker though. Yes! TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS for a pasta with no protein!! Add $13 for inedible shrimp and viola, my daughter didn't even eat 1/4 of it. Pasta overcooked and sauce just not right. The Bolognese was okay, but my son said it was nothing special. So, we paid almost $300 (one beer), for a really tragically sad experience for 7 of us that we will not be repeating. Although our server told us that we should have known that the menu changed, it really was not apparent when I was booking our reservations. I wonder if it's intentional??? We are heartbroken!!!

Yelp
Came here before a show at the Snow Park Amphitheater and ordered all of the appetizers. They were all really tasty. Hint, the chimichurri chips are fantastic, but eat them right away. They aren't quite as good once they've cooled down. The cocktails we got were all great. I got the mountaineer and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Kim J.

Yelp
We ate here last night for the first time having lived here 7 years, so good. We had a nightly special appetizer it was a fritter with corn, cheese, and rice, with a spicy marinara. Delish! We had the Caprese Salad with Heirlooms and it was yummy. Then we had a cheese pizza that was so good too. Best part this creamy lemon dish slightly frozen with fresh berries that was to die for. Just loved it all!

Megan B.

Yelp
Underwhelming and overpriced. We were stating at the Lodges and carried out due to COVID. The pizza was the only thing that was decent. My daughter's chicken tenders looked like the Tyson ones that come in the freezer section of the grocery store. My salad was absolutely loaded with dressing to the point that it was soggy. I also split the papperdelle with my husband and it was not good. There wasn't enough sauce on the dish and no protein. Very disappointing.
google avatar

C R.

Yelp
Don't order the scallops here. Or the fish, for that matter. Both were tasteless and dry. Good grief.
google avatar

Frank W.

Yelp
We made our first trip to the Brass Tag this summer, and had a good experience. The restaurant is inside the Lodges at Deer Valley, so it's a bit off the beaten path unless you are staying over by Snow Park. When we came in, we were the only people in the entire restaurant! Granted, it was summer, but the places on Main Street weren't that deserted. Wonder what it's like during the ski season. Anyway, food and service were both good. We thoroughly enjoyed the home made potato chips, smothered in cheese, bacon, scallions, and chimichurri sauce. Like a plate of nachos, but way better! And the avocado fries were fantastic! They disappeared in a flash. Crispy on the outside, smooth and rich on the inside, and not at all greasy. For the main course, I tried the lamb burger, a nice ground lamb patty on a pita with kale, alfalfa, peppers, feta and a tasty pesto. Overall, a good restaurant. Not great. With all of the other choices in Park City, I don't know if I'll rush back, but certainly would be an option after a long day of skiing if you are staying up in the Snow Park area and don't want to venture to Main Street.

B S.

Yelp
Bad management. We went in asking for takeout for our kids and they said takeout orders will be 40 minutes. We asked if they could do anything faster and they said yes, maybe 20 minutes. We sat at the bar and ordered our food for dine in. 40 minutes later, the manager said we haven't even started your takeout order. No apologies... just that is how it is going to be. Meanwhile our dine in order came in 20 minutes. Seems they didn't want to do a takeout order. Food is very mediocre anyway. Never giving them our business again.

Yelp
Fantastic place in lower Deer Valley. In season call for reservations. Owned by Deer Valley Company so super quality. Nice low key environment. Butter lettuce salad a must. Killer burgers.
google avatar

Francisco M.

Yelp
Convenient spot if staying around Snow Park lodging and good food. Unfortunately we couldn't savor some items we wanted (busy holiday weekend so they ran out). They have a limited menu but it was spot on in terms of flavor. Service was excellent. Our server was fun (thanks for not letting me forget my winter hat in 10° weather!). We didn't have to wait between courses. Short ribs were outstanding. Loved the desserts too. We'll see you again!
google avatar

Nicholas W.

Yelp
The Brass Tag is really a nice addition to the otherwise saturated market of "American" restaurants in Park City. Yes, it's pricy, but it's not as ludicrously overpriced as your average hotel restaurant. Everything is generally done pretty well - I'm a big fan of the trout, but all of the various skillets are yummy too. At the end of the day, you're in Park City. Everything will be pricier. Just enjoy the food!
google avatar

Kyle M.

Yelp
Got here at 5:45 and was seated immediately! That waitress (Megan) was super nice and very knowledgeable. The place was quite and perfect for our anniversary dinner. The food was excellent and didn't disappoint. A previous review said this places food was comparable to cafeteria food, which is completely false. This place has great tasting food and at a price that is perfect. I would definitely recommend the guacamole and the quail great options
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
My wife and I have been visiting Park City for 8 years. We consider ourselves foodies and, being from Las Vegas, we're a bit jaded. It's not often we encounter a memorable restaurant when we travel but The Brass Tag was that rare restaurant. I had the romaine salad with blueberries and kale. It was one of the best salads I've ever had! The Tandoori rubbed quail was exquisite as well. I'll admit that when I saw the menu, I was apprehensive as many of the dishes sounded, well, unique. However, the execution was outstanding. Every member of my family of 6 gave The Brass Tag a big thumbs which itself is a rare occurrence. The service was excellent and the prices were moderate by Park City standards.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. We had a Brie plate for starters. Kids had the flatbread and cheeseburger. Both kids loved it. The adults are the pork chop. It was amazing. The sauce was great, it was cooked perfectly. Great service. The breakfast was great too. Amazing selection. Homemade pastries. Highly recommend.

Yelp
We visited The Brass Tag and were blow away with how friendly the staff where. Not only do they have awesome food but such an interesting heritage as well. ASK them about it! Here is a good write up on what to expect when visiting - http://www.whoneedsmaps.com/brass-tag-deer-valley Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Had thanksgiving dinner here. Everything was lovely. The Rosebud cocktail was very girly and so delicious. The wait staff is well trained and friendly without hovernance. Being a local parkite I can be critical. But I am a fan.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
This is an incredible new restaurant. They have not missed anything. It has incredible atmosphere. The service is top notch but what would you expect from a restaurant run by Deer Valley. The food is incredible. We tried every appetizer on the menu and they all were fantastic. For dinner I had the Tandoori Rubbed Quail which was delicious. The portions are reasonably sized, I believe in an attempt to be a larger Tapas type situation where you can share a few items. Which is worth doing, since everything I tried was amazing. The restaurant is located in the Lodges in Deer Valley, in lower Deer Valley. Just pull up to the parking garage and hit the button to call to the front desk and they will open the door for you.

Yelp
What a wonderful find! Excellent, unique dishes..we were thrilled with our meals The steak was amazing, tandoori quail divine, and simp skillet in tarragon parm sauce out of this world. One of the best in park city..as a local, I know
