A lot of contemporary restaurants boast about their gourmet food and cool decor. However, many don't live up to it.
The Bravery, on the other hand, delivers in every aspect - food, service and atmosphere.
The moment my wife and I sat in the restaurant, we were pleased with the minimal decor and brilliant light usage that exuded calm and spaciousness, even for a small space.
We were then moved by the attentiveness and service of the staff member who served us (I didn't catch her name, but she was the Chinese lady who worked the morning shift on 13 May). She took the time to share with us the menu, and the contents of the dessert shelves.
Finally, the food was spectacular. My Big Brekkie was very filling, hearty and worth more than what I paid. It paired well with my drink. My wife's Shrooms Toast was also delicious with its earthy and scrumptious mushrooms that were complemented with the sourdough bread. Last but not least, our dessert really capped off the whole dining experience with blissful bites of zing and creaminess.
Overall, a wonderful first-time experience, and we are looking forward to going there again.
