The Breakfast Club

Visited yesterday after disappointing customer service next door. This has to be the best brunch cafe I’ve visited in Bordeaux, if you are in the area I 100% recommend visiting. Had the vegetarian breakfast and my partner had the Eggs Victoria, both absolutely divine. I can’t fault the customer service, very helpful.

As a Scotsman living in Bordeaux, it was a delight to find somewhere that serves a full British breakfast with proper bacon and black pudding! The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the location is lovely, although slightly cramped. The prices I found fairly reasonable given the food, although it's still on the higher end of what you'd pay for a "normal" breakfast. Still, worth the money for that little taste of home!

Really great place to eat. Greeted with a smile and the lady spoke very good English. Tried their specific homemade lemonade with orange blossom which was interesting and nice of them to give me a try. Went with a green tea and peppermint iced tea to go with the food which was lovely. The food was amazing, reasonably priced and service top draw. Highly recommend!

We had been in Bordeaux for almost a week. As an Irishman I love a cooked breakfast. Having eaten a 'French' style breakfast every day I was delighted to find this place. I had the Full English breakfast, it was fantastic. The produce was all tip top, specifically the bacon & sausage. I found out a little later they source the meat ingredients from the UK. The breakfast was a good size and cooked very well. At €11 with a hot drink it is great value considering the meat is imported. I live in the UK, the fry up at The Breakfast Club puts most greasy spoons in the UK to shame. Which is embarrassing for British cafes but a great boon for this cafe. The cafe itself is a very nice little space with around 8 seats outside if tge weather permits. If you want a cooked breakfast like we eat in Ireland or the UK this is the place. 100% recommend.

Excellent restaurant / breakfast club. We ate there twice: always well received. Excellent fish and chips (Friday). Very generous breakfast / lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very warm and friendly service. The food was fresh and delicious, good portions and reasonably priced compared to quality. Will definitely come again.

If you have a long day ahead of you, you need a breakfast with protein. This place has great egg dishes, like the eggs benedict pictured. Everyone working here was very nice and helpful.

If English breakfast is your thing, look no further! It is delicious, and hits the spot everytime! The staff is friendly, and they all speak English. Service is on point, and does not take forever You might have to wait to sit: the place is tiny (but cosy). Also if you are more than 4 people, it might be difficult to find free space. However if you wait, it is worth it They serve breakfast until 6pm,and they accept ticket restaurant, so it can also be good for you budget Go and have fun!

Veggie "English Breakfast" was on the menu & we were starving from the night before so this big meal hit the spot All the favorites - baked beans, roasted tomatoes, vegan sausages, potatoes & eggs. Arrived quickly & was delicious Ended the feast with a brownie in custard & lots of chocolate & fudgy texture. It was likewise delicious People started coming in big numbers but the wait for a table was never too long. We had to wait as well & it was probably 15 min.......and was totally worth it

The breakfast, coffee and service were amazing. We highly recommend this cute restaurant!! We will definitely be back tomorrow!

Was in France several days already and was craving for a hot breakfast. Saw this place near my hotel and decided to give it a try. Service was very polite and friendly and our food came out very hot. This is what we needed to start off our relaxing day in Bordeaux. The English Breakfast is a must try, very delicious!

The Breakfast Club is the best place for English breakfast that I've ever tried. They have a vast variety of options & you definitely get enough bang for your buck. The owner is always so nice, collected, and sweet, even when she has a crazy rush! The food is ALWAYS amazing, the staff friendly, & the atmosphere simple yet lively. My favorite breakfast place in Bordeaux, & one of my top faves in the world!

This was the best breakfast that we had on our entire trip to France. We had the eggs florentine and the eggs saumon and cannot say enough great things. The service was friendly and the owner/waitress even gave us pointers for our next trip to Lisbon. The decor was eclectic and cute. 5 stars. Loved it.

If you want British food in Bordeaux, it's a 5 out of 5. If you want a good, light, breakfast, it's 5 out of 5. Really nice people, and it was interesting how the customers mostly speak English and tend to talk to each other. It's like an ex-pat destination. I liked my eggs Victoria a lot, would definitely go back again. I wish this existed in NYC.

The eggs Benedict was delicious!! Poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the hollandaise sauce was out of this world! Adorable restaurant tucked away on a picturesque Bordeaux city street. Love the atmosphere, food, and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Awesome English breakfast plus some sneaky cheesecakes if your not scared of bulking up. Best thing is that it's all day eating which is a real rarity in France.

This address is so good I was tempted to keep it to myself. Quality fresh cooking and friendly welcome at any time. Best carrot cake in town.
