The location is what makes the stay worth it. It’s right across the boulevard which makes morning runs particularly attractive. I also really loved the chia and the oats as breakfast choices, which appeals to vegetarian/vegan crowd (not one, I just like this stuff as breakfast). The rooms I’ve stayed in do not have windows but I think I can forgive that in exchange for the fridge in the room, the hot shower that doesn’t trip and the verrrrrry comfortable pillows. Also, helpful staff and security guard. Called out a tricycle for us on one particularly rainy night.

A 3-star hotel in Dumaguete strategically located near the Port of Dumaguete, right along the boulevard and just across Silliman University, it offers easy access to nearby restaurants and key city spots. It's also just a short 15–20 minute motorcycle ride from Sibulan Port, making it very convenient for travelers. The hotel boasts a rustic-industrial modern design that artistic and creative guests will definitely appreciate. While it's on the pricier side for a 3-star, the ambiance and overall experience make it worth every peso. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with amenities like a strong air conditioner, working water heater, bidet, safe, and a refrigerator. I particularly enjoyed the quiet, laid-back atmosphere that adds to the relaxing vibe of the hotel. The food in their in-house café was also delicious, especially the plated breakfast which was a great way to start the day. The staff were warm and accommodating, and I’d like to give a special shoutout to Dave, who was incredibly helpful in answering my questions about Dumaguete and offering great tips around the city. While the rustic-industrial design may not appeal to all tastes, I personally found this to be the best hotel in Dumaguete.

There are other hotels along the boulevard that's worth the price. For the room price, toothpaste and toothbrush do not come for free. Very tight rooms, awkward layout, just one chair inside, no place to put luggage. Staff aren't friendly, unusual for Dumaguete culture of friendly and gentle people. I wouldn't want to stay here again

Described as shabby chic, our room had more of a prison cell vibe. But hey, I have to give it justice: the price was good and the location perfect for getting to and fom the ferry elsewhere. Breakfast was good too, so all in all it is cost effective. Just don't expect too much.

Feels like I'm in a rotting unfinished warehouse, interior design is terrible. Very weak wifi signal in my room and no elevator.

I stayed one night since I had to catch a ferry the next morning. I like The Bricks Hotel! Location is great, service is great, and I like the cool vibe. The room was smallish, but plenty big for anyone not spending lots of time in the room. The wifi was good, mattress was comfortable, and I loved the room. I recommend and will stay again when I'm in Dumaguete.

Yelp
Second hotel, second time the water in the shower wasn't hot enough. But it's still five stars for us because this hotel is located right along the water, great A/C, American TV channels are available! Very responsive to our questions, concerns, and all requests. Love that breakfast is included with the room

Yelp
I stayed there for a week in May 2023. The service was great. The room was awesome and I had a great view of the ocean. There is a restaurant on the first floor and the food was very good. The free breakfast was excellent. It is located right on the ocean and in a great area to see the sights in Dumaguete.

Yelp
This is the first time I've stayed here and I must say I like this boutique hotel. The first thing you'll notice is it's concrete interior-floors and all. This industrialized style will suit most frequent travelers but probably not all. At first it may seem cold and sad. It takes a little while to get used to it. Most hotels you'll see a lot of smooth surfaces that this room will show you the opposite. The high ceiling show cases exposed pipes and industrial style light fixtures, which I thought was cool and different. Overall I liked it. The hotel features its own restaurant downstairs that serves small plates of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I was surprised because it was actually good. There are a lot of restaurants outside the hotel since it located in the busy part of the town. The ocean is right outside where you'll see people jogging in the morning and strollers in the afternoon. Night life is always happening so make sure you go out and check out the places and have fun. I would come back and stay here again. Highly recommend this place, but you are your own judge.

Yelp
Good 6 night stay. The rooms are noisy because it is all concrete but I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast and dinners were good, location is near the ferry terminal and great places to eat/drink (highly recommend Casablanca nearby). The staff are really helpful and friendly.
