the lady from the info centre endorsed this cafe’s coffee, and now i endorse it too. the flat white here is excellent and the indoor experience is cozy! you get the feeling like this cafe is bridport and bridport is this cafe. the color red is used well throughout the space, from the plates to the walls and the iconic bike on the roof. lots to like when you’re just sitting in or outdoors!

All the foods and coffee were really good (5 star for food, no doubt!). I am happy with their service, but I believe there is always a room to improve. Not sure why the waitress was asking for food plates (may be 5-10 mins after serving the food), even we didn't finish our food yet. And the person in front could use few more smiles to create the conversation more friendly with customers. Overall, it's really a good cafe, you should visit. Thanks.

Nice spot in a nice town. Decent coffee. Mostly friendly, somewhat 'business like' staff. Quite nice all day breakfast menu all our meals came out in good time and were all nicely presented and tasty. The building , without the tree out front is starting to look quite delapitated, and although rustic is 'in' some general repairs and face lift would do wonders. Would definitely recommend, and would definitely go again.

I only got a takeaway coffee, which was excellent, but while I was waiting I saw some great looking breakfast's coming out of the kitchen. The staff, without exception looked like they enjoyed working there

Got 3 milkshakes, all had zero flavour and just tasted like straight milk. Waste of money should have gone to the IGA and got a carton of milk instead.

We travelled 30 minutes to visit this café after reading so many positive reviews. We admittedly arrived at 1:50pm on a weekend, noting that the café was advertised as being open until 3pm, with the kitchen open until 2pm. So we knew we needed to order quickly upon arrival. However, when we arrived, we were told the kitchen was already closed despite it not yet being 2pm. We expressed our disappointment, mentioning that we had travelled quite some distance to get there. The staff’s hesitation in telling us suggested they knew they weren’t adhering to their own stated hours. They briefly checked with the kitchen, but even as we saw meals still being plated, they refused to take our order and claimed they had “run out of everything,” which frankly felt like an excuse. We left without being able to order anything and feeling extremely disappointed by the lack of effort and professionalism. It’s a shame, as the café looked lovely, but unfortunately the experience left a very poor impression.

Yelp
We stayed in Bridport while visiting North East Tasmania and came across this cafe while searching for somewhere to have breakfast before a day full of wine tasting. Very friendly and attentive staff took our order quickly and were happy to talk about the cafes favourite breakfast options, which was the baked beans. I rarely go past a recommendation and wasn't disappointed, the beans were delicious. Both meals and all coffees (we had several) were good. They are also licensed for the hard stuff, with a good variety of Tasmanian beer, wine and cider. Large windows provide a view of the ocean and the light, bright interior features local art and produce. This place has a cool vibe. It's a popular place with the locals; a great place to watch the goings-on of a small town.
